TrustpilotMy instagram account got suspended with…
My instagram account got suspended with no eligibility to appeal for no reason , I had not been on it or posted anything. I have not received a email explaining that they are suspending my account or my account had suspicious activity on it. My account got hacked two weeks ago my name and profile photo changed so I changed my password and thought that was it. Now I have no way of getting my account back when I haven't done anything wrong. No customer service or anyone to speak to it's awful there allowed to treat people like this .

TrustpilotMy instagram account @jodieanneuk has…
My instagram account @jodieanneuk has been wrongfully suspended now twice in 1 week, the first time they apologised and said it was a fault on their side (their crappy AI bot system), so I was allowed to post on my account again. 6 days later the SAME THING happened again, instagram want me to re upload the same documents they received from me only 6 days ago. I am suffering loss of earnings due to there wrongful suspension. I am now considering getting a lawyer involved due to the stress this has caused and the loss of earnings from my buisness. How can you apologise and say my account does follow community guidelines for 6 days later to re suspend it again. I have been told I have a good case, and will be running with it I have the money to. 1000s of people are dealing with the same thing, instagram sort it out before you loose everyone and your business also suffers!! I will continue leaving bad reviews and emails will be sent, and I’ll be publicly speaking about this untill this stops and my account is given back.

TrustpilotInstagram is no different than…
Instagram is no different than Facebook. They are unfair, and censor views that don't fit their narrative. They have taken down comments I have made that were jokes. Some that were informational and some that were personal. I even posted a picture of Chuck Schumer kissing, a small black child on Epstein Island and I was labeled as a threat to children. Not Chuck but me. Clearly they have no regard for freedom of speech. They allow child pornography and pedophiles on their platform which I have reported time and time again and they refuse to take action but they take action on one small person who says a bad word. That says everything you need to know about Instagram. Are they involved in election interference and child trafficking ?most certainly.. Someone can post a disgusting reply but I get flagged.

TrustpilotScams Extremely Dangerous NO HELP
Scams. Bad ones. Men that do crime for a living and murder away. I was approached by millions it seems of fake celebrity accounts who tried to obtain money. In the end I was threatened so much I nearly succumbed. The threats they made came true “they came to threaten me with death at my door as delivery boy” and “they posted a very violent anti campaign to my name on Instagram” and “promoted a bag with ho on it extremely with my name on it too” (hashtags) they also stole about ten thousand dollars and I can’t find a lawyer cause I don’t have receipts (except the send agency will ) There is no help or contact point for Instagram (you can only complain an automated thing and that does not give room for sufficient information and then they whisk it away) Evie

Was kicked off the platform because this app wants you to talk the way it likes, it doesn’t accept difference and clearly doesn't like any form of free speech. Severly biased. Shows sign of rasicism and xenophobia. I was was banned for a comment for no good reason. This is a app for zombies and it's so clear how rotten Meta is in general. The day this app is destroyed is the day our species evolve. Bunch of wannabe fascist the whole lot of you.

TrustpilotDon’t even bother to look into reports
Instagram do not take reports seriously. I’ve had someone pretending to be me taking all my Instagram pictures using my name to promote adult content! They were targeting people who followed me and trying to get them to subscribe to the website. Me and my friends have reported this so many times for loads of different violations of the guidelines yet when we have received the review report it says that they won’t remove the account because it doesn’t apparently violate the guidelines … how? There is no way to contact Instagram so how am I supposed to resolve this issue. They protect weirdos on this platform and let them get away with everything.

TrustpilotDestroyed the Contests, communications, studies, work, mental health... YT Science4All video reference at the bottom of the review.
Because of Facebook and Instagram (so Meta now, Facebook having bought Instagram by force and threats from a certain Zuckerberg towards the CEOs of Instagram), more and more contests (to win gifts, vouchers, trips, etc.) are no longer done on separate websites, on site in stores, etc., but ONLY on social networks, especially Facebook or Instagram where you are forced to like the publication, the page, comment and quote 1 friend or 2 friends or even 3 or more!!!I had noticed that this year, a pharmacy chain, then a shopping center changed the rules of its contests (Advent calendar), previously, clicks on boxes on a separate website, were transformed into contests, with the obligation to have a VALID Facebook or Instagram account, to like, comment, etc., and especially to name 2 or 3 VALID FRIENDS, EVERY DAY!!!!I was already required to have a Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram account to communicate, send photos, documents, etc., for my work and my higher education, with my colleagues and students, without going through competing social networks, separate communication tools, etc., contests, to win gifts are gradually disappearing. And how do you name friends when you don't have any, when you're lonely????? How do you play these contests without having to have a Facebook or Instagram account????Bravo Mark Zuckerberg (entangled in scandals, even genocides like in Myanmar), you have enslaved the whole world (except the countries that had the courage to block them!) under your feet, I hope that Tr*mp will send you to prison for the rest of your life, it is a multinational that, like the GAFAM, must be completely dismantled, having become too powerful than the countries, democracies, etc.Nobody has realized that these tech multinationals have become the masters of the world, we must open our eyes and react, mental health and the entire society is in danger. We were fine in the past, before the tech giants, smartphones, screens everywhere! For reference-example (there are many others, the list is long and keeps getting longer), go watch the video of the YouTube channel Science4All "Human trafficker and hate dealer #FacebookFiles" (v=HkqYjyyKeCo)

TrustpilotZero Customer Support
It seems laughable to rate Instagram customer service, because they don't have customer service. They never respond to error messages and fix problems when they can be bothered to get around to it. It's worth noting that the 'boost post' doesn't work at all, and is just a waste of money. I've tried it a couple of times and seen absolutely no uptick in views, likes or engagement. Basically, Instagram is the worst social media channel. I hope that eventually it disappears, then I won't have to use it.

TrustpilotI'm limited on insta for no reason.
I'm limited on insta for no reason.I signed up in 2022. I never use. I'm hardly ever on it. I've 7 pics and 0 videos on it with less than 5 comments on people's pages. I'm limited on Instagram for no reason at all. I can't see people's followers or who they're following. It's pointless having an insta account if I can't see people followers or who they follow.I've to provide identity to have it removed from my account. I think this is just the company trying to get free identification off people so they can sell out data on. What scum. I hope Instagram gets massive fines from the eu for trying to get people's data. What a disgraceful company. No wonder Inatagram is falling out of popularity over the last few years.

TrustpilotRestricted again!
So, having been allowed back into my account after yet another restriction, I comment with 'six months of Ariel pods would be a great Christmas present for somebody' on a competition post and get yet another restriction because apparently the comment goes against community guidelines. Really? I think not. Even with this restriction my account status shows that I can use all aspects of my account, as I have not breached community guidelines. How does that make sense? I either have or I haven't! I have appealed the decision, as I usually do, but it will be to no avail, as there is no human actually reading these appeals, so I am posting here, in the vague hope that there is a real human somewhere, who will actually read these replies and do something about the faulty algorhythm that is constantly banning innocent users for no reason. It is getting to the point where Instagram is unusable!

Instagram is an utterly IDIOTIC social platform. It actually punishes and harasses users who dare to actually use it and interact with others. Tag people- get suspended. Use hashtags - get suspended. Like too many things - get suspended. Sometimes you are offered a chance to dispute the suspension but it's going to a black hole. They claim to want to help you connect with companies and their products but if a company offers a giveaway, you will be frequently be suspended for entering it on Instagram. Total insanity. Random raccoons could run it better.

TrustpilotWhite Fox : Every company has a bad day or two
Every company has a bad day or two. Things go wrong, couriers etc. However, if your brand is backed up by solid, reliable customer service these things can be resolved. The problem with most online businesses, this one in particular, is that their entire focus is on sales. Where/when they need to excel is when things go wrong. Contact is inconsistent, they never follow through and because they are faceless, with just an online presence, the frustration increases as you cannot speak to anyone. So my recommendation is this.. Order from White Fox, keep your fingers that nothing goes wrong and you'll be delighted with the end product I am sure. From my personal perspective, if someone, anyone from White Fox would get off their backsides, take a moment to respond to any one of my emails requesting assistance it would be really helpful and avoid, for the thousandth time my 12yr old daughter saying, "Daddy, have you heard from White Fox? Has my hoodie arrived"Over to you White Fox!

TrustpilotPyramid scheme?
The concept of instagram seems to be to get as many followers as you can. You upload pictures, get followers, likes and comments......That's it.The only way to get followers (apart from getting people you know to follow you) is to engage with other instagram accounts with lots of followers, in the hope some of their followers notices you, follows you back and takes an interest in your lame pictures. So you basically have to waste time liking and commenting on other people's pictures whom you'd otherwise not bother with....time well spent. It all seems really shallow and pointless.Instagram wins because it keeps you on their site, but are you really having fun? A bunch of people you don't know pretending to be interested in you and vice versa?Eventually if you manage to scheme enough followers, the prize is you may get some trash fast fashion company give you freebies on the condition you make a post on their merchandise. ( shhhhh, they don't realise all your engagement is fake) Its all so lame and pointless. Being obsessed with likes is pointless because most likely the likes aren't genuine. Instagram is just a waste of time website designed to suck as much time out of you as possible while achieving nothing.

TrustpilotCould this platform POSSIBLY be less…
Could this platform POSSIBLY be less user friendly? What the actual frick, Meta? I've been a user of your products for 15 years and have paid you a lot of money in ads for my business, but could the current Facebook and Instagram POSSIBLY be less user-friendly? I've been dealing with things constantly not working and not even trying to have capabilities to serve anyone who doesn't have a smartphone for months now and I am reaching the end of my patience.I've been dealing with issues with Meta Ad Manager just straight-up not working and Meta Business Suite being the single worst piece of software I have ever had the displeasure of using in my 35 years of life for a year.I recently moved to Instagram as I was told I might actually be able to get engagement there (Facebook now seems to be giving almost zero visibility of any non-paid content to my followers), and I find that it is absolutely riddled with features you cannot use at all unless you have a smartphone.Instagram's library of "Help" articles isn't even accessible - it's so difficult to find out how to even ASK for help that I've been having to go to Google and Reddit to try to figure out how to even find Instagram's Help section. I also cannot get any in-person help as Meta Business Suite's "Contact Support" function has been broken for me for almost an entire year and there is literally no way to reach anyone to report that the "Contact Support" button is broken. I'm wondering if Meta has intentionally cut me off from contacting support because I've complained so many times about my ad performance inexplicably plummeting for no reason following Facebook making automated "improvements" to my ads.Anyway, today I was trying to download images from my Instagram to my computer, as my smartphone unexpectedly died last night and I now have no way of accessing Instagram using a phone. I have an ongoing ad strategy that requires me to post pictures regularly and to cross-post across Facebook and Instagram, but now I can't even re-use the photos I have *already posted to Instagram* following the total loss of my phone's image library because the options to download one's own archive and schedule posts in advance don't even *exist* unless you're using the Instagram smartphone app.Could the Meta ecosystem possibly be more user-unfriendly at this point? Could it possibly display a greater total lack of care about what the customer experience is like and whether its applications are even functional or working as intended reliably? I guess Meta doesn't need to care about little guys like individual users and small business owners now that they're so rich. Literally the only reason I am still using Meta platforms in any capacity is that Twitter is now run by a fascist and TikTok is owned by the Chinese government. At this point though, I might take my chances with TikTok when my new phone arrives because holy sh*t, Meta, could you possibly telegraph "we don't give a d*mn about our users or even about our small business advertisers" any harder than you already are?

TrustpilotMy account has been disabled
My account has been disabled while I was answering the comments on my last post. The reason given by Instagram is "Spam" and that I could appeal if I disagreed. Not possible to use my right to appeal because I never received the 6 digit SMS verification code. Now, it's not even possible to enter my telephone number as it says that I got too many SMS verification codes and that I have to way 24 hours before I can receive a new one. Guess what? I've waited more than 24 hours and I get the same message that I have to wait 24 hours even though I haven't asked for any verification code. Instagram gave me another account with restrictions where I had to start from scratch. I have never asked for that new account and they never asked for my consent to create the new account! Today I received an email saying that I could use again my Instagram account. Guess what? It's for the account they gave me today and not for my old account where I have all my photos, followers and so on. I sent emails to Instagram's support and security, but no reply as their Instagram Help Center is useless.

Instagram is not fair at checking comments. There is a company that I wanted to contact but it was realy difficult for me to get in contact. So I wrote on a post of that company and asked if they can contact me. Without any bad words or making the company bad. Instagram deleted my comment immedeatly. But when looking at random other comments, there are litterally thousands of people speading hate about religions and been racinst. Or people discimination other based on their look. But these comments just stay. And I only asked for help.

TrustpilotA Profound Disappointment: Instagram's Flawed Policies Undermine User Trust
Instagram's recent actions have left me thoroughly disillusioned with the platform. Without any clear reason or prior warning, my account was suddenly banned. This lack of transparency not only disrupts the user experience but also erodes trust in the platform's ability to manage its community fairly. To add to the frustration, the process to regain access involves uploading a selfie for verification. This method feels intrusive and raises significant privacy concerns. It's disheartening that a platform of this scale resorts to measures that make users question the security of their personal information. This experience reflects a broader disconnect between Instagram's management and its user base. The reliance on opaque algorithms and impersonal verification processes suggests a disregard for the individuals that make the platform thrive. Users deserve clear communication and fair treatment, not arbitrary enforcement of unclear policies. There's a pressing need for a true alternative, one that prioritizes user rights, values transparency, and fosters genuine community engagement. Until such a platform emerges, many will continue to feel alienated by Instagram's current approach. I hope to see changes that restore confidence, but until then, I cannot recommend Instagram to those seeking a respectful and user-centric social media experience.

TrustpilotA prime example of en$h1ttification
As the title says, this site has regressed so horribly that it isn't even fun to use.Ads are spammed everywhere you go. Even when you sort your feed by "following", which doesn't show any ads as you scroll down, stories aren't visible.Speaking of stories, more ads are spammed for every profile story post(s) so when I browse them, I just select one further ahead of the list and scroll backwards to avoid the pestilence of advertisements.Recent updates have made closing/reporting ads a more lengthy process. I wonder why. Doing so in the main feed page has a 33/33/33 chance of showing a grid of several other ads, under the heading "You might like" as a deliberate attempt to take the p!ss.If you run more than one account on (as most people use) the mobile app, the same advert you closed or reported shows up in that other account's feed, especially in the form of alt ad accounts. This leaves you to block the account and hope for less of that company; Temu is a horrible offender in this regard. Not to mention, a lot of ads are for scams or repulsive garbage.Bots are also a huge issue here. Whether they promote pornographic content or scams (maybe both), they are all prevalent in unwanted followers, messages, or comments. FB's only solution thus far is to sweep it under the rug with message requests that further hide the bots who message you. This is an issue across Facebook and like other rivals, they all do a p!ss-poor job of dealing with it despite raking in billions. Even Valve could do a better job. Then there's the constant "change" of the platform. There's "trend-chasing" where Instagram/FB realizes that their place in the game sucks so they copy their rivals from the East and force every video into a short-format "reel".The concept of Instagram being a viable photo-content sharing platform has long been eroded. You also have unnecessary UI changes that introduce several unfixed bugs that serve to annoy regular users accustomed to the positions of the buttons (profile, feed, make a post, chat controls).Engagement sucks because hashtags only show the most recent "top" posts, killing any chance of small profiles getting a proper audience. TikTok is hella garbage and flawed but at least getting some viewership there is more viable than on Instagram.I'm just gonna delete this app, and maybe use a third-party client if I want to use my accounts.

TrustpilotMeta ruined instagram
- Meta have changed the algorithm so you posts are shown to 3% of your own followers, even with a large following and many 'likes'.- You cannot grow organically anymore as they force you into paying for ads due to removing 'recent posts' and replacing it with 'recent top posts'.- 1 in 3 posts on your feed is an ad.- Paying for ads is a rip off, the reach is abysmal for the price they charge.- Meta turn all the gold they touch into mud. Instagram was great when it was not owned by them. Now it is as useless as Facebook.

TrustpilotInstagram is one of the worst apps I’ve…ever used. Get it together Instagram.
Instagram is one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. I’ve been told that I “violate community standards” for things that clearly don’t violate community guidelines . Example I wrote “so sweet” on a video of an employer buying his employee a car and Instagram said I was violating community standards. I’ve attempted to contact their help desk regarding my discrepancies regarding these co called violations. Their help desk never responds to my discrepancies, but is sure quick to say I “violated community guidelines “. I have literally emailed regarding the discrepancies about 20-25 times with no response. Also they allow so many “vile” things to be said on that app and yet when I reported those supposedly it doesn’t go against community guidelines. Instagram really needs to get it together. It’s really not becoming an app that’s not even enjoyable anymore.

A demonic and communistic platform. If you state ANYTHING against the dumbass satanists on there, they will side with them and suspend your account because Instagram can’t handle the truth. Instagram is scared of people saying the truth so they’ll suspend your account. They suspended my account because I offended some demonic satanists. The life of a baby triggers them so I let them know they’re p*ssies. And Instagram can’t handle that. What a joke.
