Can't Access My Data / Pictures!

Worst customer service ever as it's basically non existent!Long story short:- On 09.28.22 my Facebook account was hacked and temporarily disabled because apparently it didn't follow the "Community Guidelines".- As long as my Instagram account was linked to my Facebook one I wasn't able to login there either.- Having submitted tons of review requests and having filed several consumer complaints with many different AGs didn't work for me (after 4 months).- Never received a proper communication / email from Instagram / Facebook about the issue.- For some reason I can't use any of the Instagram's Help Center tools because my Instagram's "@username" seems to be hidden somehow.- After 4 months I don't care of getting my accounts back anymore, but I think I have the right download my pictures and my data at least!Writing this review as a last resort, hoping that someone working in the right department could address my issues.

really they deserve NO points

really they deserve NO points. the helppages are full of links that do not apply to our problem, where somebody named "warryvenchi" created a fake account under my deceased mother's name and Facebook profile picture to contact younger female members of my family. All I get after hours of clicking through all the help page topics are automated emails with useless requests for more sensitive documentation, and lead to no where or dead ends. Customer service? hahahah NON EXISTENT.

I have had instagram suspend my account…

I have had instagram suspend my account due to my friend hacking my account and writing inappropriate words in my bio. I was unaware of this and had absolutely no prior warning that my account would be suspended until I tried to access my account the next day only to find that it was suspended. I have tried to explain this situation but so far I have had no success. I am going to lose over 10 years worth of memories and contacts over a joke my friend thought was funny on a night out. Instagram - please respond to my requests regarding this.

My instagram has been hacked

My instagram has been hacked. After the hacker gained access they changed my number and email so i have no way of gaining access. I need help urgently as this is my business, please help, I havent been able to submit he video of my self as all of my details have been changed so there is no way for me to get to this part to try and get my account back. Please help me. there has to be some support to help as this is what all hackers do first they change the deails.

I recently got my account hacked and someone is crypto scams to my professional friends and family. Instagram offers zero customer support and don’t care about their customers I would never have a business profile with them if this is how poor they are at services. Also I’ve used Instagram for 10 years and the hacker has deleted some of my favorite pictures that I no longer have

Beware

My Instagram account was hacked I kept getting a message that a code was sent to my email address but it never came. I paid 31.50$ through PayPal to have the account released.Now they are looking for another $30 to release a code They promised me a refund of the first payment through someone who was able to talk to them I have not received the refund. It’s impossible to contact them they never reply on twitter and their so called ‘help’ just goes round in circles They told me to pay it through friends and family With not using PayPal for payments I didn’t know any better. Apparently that’s for someone you know and PayPal can’t do anything about it.He certainly knew what he was doingThe person I paid has said there is a problem with the server but somehow he managed to send me another bill for $30 I have replied by sending him a bill for the amount I paid $31.50. .Beware of this I’d sooner do without Instagram than be out of pocket Luckily my credit card will take this up as a chargeback

CONCERNED ABOUT SAFETYi had a message from facebook to say my account was disabled as something was posted on my instagram account that went against the rules.. I immediately felt this suspicious as i have never posted on instagram.. after 10 emails to instagram almost impossible to get help ive still not had any help ive spent 2 days looking at security issues and now ive found a hacker has got into my instagram and added himself i cant get a response from instagram and am very distressed about all this there is even a image of the hacker on it i feel like going to the local press.

I have been using Instagram for over 5…

I have been using Instagram for over 5 years it’s a fantastic social media platform. I can post pictures, go live, comment, follow people and my favourite stars and do much more. I just wish their was a proper support line because it's so hard to contact them. I have to jump through so many hoops. Really their should be a ticket system in place, which is accessible from a copy sent to your email and the Instagram app and website. Apart from this, I love Instagram!

What isn’t bad about Instagram?

What isn’t bad about Instagram? Promotions are a waste of money because you can’t choose your audience anymore, ads take forever to approve and they are hardly shown to anyone, much less than the fake estimates. When you talk to chat, they don’t answer questions, ask tons of questions and it is completely frustrating. The last person I attempted to chat with sent me prayers and blessings saying that he knows I’m a great person so my business will be successful. It won’t be if Instagram/Facebook doesn’t make major changes.

I am reporting literal PORN that comes up on Instagram all over everything e.g spam bot pages that like and comment and follow everything that post porn. And nothing gets done about it!!! I just get a message from Instagram saying "thanks for reporting, but we're not removing this time" - there clearly isn't an actual person checking these reports, or even an AI program that's any good at it. Support are really useless. I traveled to Yerevan and now I still see irrelevant ads from Yerevan. Mostly this is drugs ads (I don't even google about it). And when I send reports, support "can't find offensive or prohibited materials. Idk how this ads exist cause it's not even a weed, this is picture with real heavy drugs with the name of the drugs.

Bad service

I like instagram, except the algorithm is super narrow if you're interested in a particular topic for a while, it takes an eternity before it changes, but I recently noticed that I can choose what "type" of posts I don't like to see as much of, and that's nice. However, I am super disappointed on the service, someone made a fake account with my name and pictures last year about this month, I have asked so many people report the account which must have been around 250 people actually filing in a report to Instagram. However, one year later and it is still up there, I have even emailed the service team three times and asked them to take the account down 6 months ago, but the account is still active! I can't reach the account since the person creating it blocked my real account, so it is impossible for me to go in and report it as theft of my identity. I hope someone at Instagram see this and decide to actually make a change because this is beyond critical, really tragic service.

I’m totally disappointed about the way…

I’m totally disappointed about the way how this platform it goes, apparently they leave all the scams and frauds to be reported by the users, so we should get payed doing them jobs, they are not good enough to have a safe platform, they let everyone having a user without any fileters or at least one verify photo (selfie), I just think the most important thing for them is to have more and more users creating a very unsafe platform, weird cause I use to like this platform , now it’s jus a disappointing and continue decline platform
