I am totally against the company's policy with verified accounts! It's a breeding ground for misinformation and fakes. I believe that the company should separate the concepts of Verified Account and Premium Account. To be verified, the creator or company should be a public persona and undergo a strict moderation process before receiving the Verified badge. And what they sell as a subscription should be called a Premium Account and should have its own separate badge which means Premium

My account was hacked. All details changed from someone in Nigeria.. instagrams security is an absolute joke. Ive done there selfie motion thing send ID and still been told they cant verify my account.. even though my email is my second for back up i just cant remeber my 8 digit code to get back into it to change it all back. These people dont care about you or your safety. Its literally all down to money!! Made a new account then they decided ive breached their conditions. Another load of tush. Honestly, I will never use Instagram again.

I am sick of the dodgy, shoddy fashion “companies “ that are allowed to be advertised on Instagram. I have to check on Trustpilot to see f they are decent or not. Instagram obviously runs little or no checks on these companies just collects advertising fees which is a disgrace & as they are such a huge conglomerate there really should be a Dept safeguarding customers but no. I was silly , bought a blouse from a company with mo review on TP, as soon as I had purchased I could see which dodgy country it was being shipped from & î instantly regretted it as I knew how low their manufacturing standards are. I have lost £28 as company is not encouraging returns instead offered 15% off future purchase (not likely) and 10% refund.

The Age Limit for account creation should be raised to 18 for countless reasons. While I don't actively use this Platform, My Brother and other family members use it and It made my 17 Year old brother an addict with potentially dangerous content being shown on this platform which would then end up on the news with the end result being a violent crime or a fatal car accident with roads becoming more dangerous each and every day due to this platform and its content. I'm very disappointed about the minimum age requirement remaining the same despite violent crimes and fatal car accidents being on the rise. The solution is to raise the minimum age requirement to 18 or older with zero way to bypass the requirements while integrating multi factor authentication to increase security on the platform.

I have worked day and night to grow my IG account inculide paid ads and after all that happen. I would this is run by crooks for crooks any platform that allows you to have two accounts is a con it allows the scammers and crooks to play-off of each other when approaching innocent people. nowhere to complain, no one there to help, I had over 1200 followers over eight months and I would say 95% of them were crooks scammers people pretending to be what they’re not. As I said this app is run by thieves for thieves and should be close down. The company should be ashamed of themselves for the misery that they caused that I see and heard of. Do not use do not download the app connected to Facebook. Another one that has now been infiltrated by crooks and scammers. I have a private account with small number of followers and Instagram still keep trying to prevent me from sharing on my stories and making comments on other posts because they don't like me saying anything anti-genocide. They remove my stories, delete my comments for being 'spam' when they aren't and have for the second time restricted my activity for 24 hours which means I can't comment on any posts. Absolutely disgusting.

Instagram isn't safe. I love the fact that they introduced the feature to verify one's self using a video selfie but then if the hacker enabled Two Factor Authenticator the page for selfie verification won't come up. The Authenticator will block it.My business page was hacked few days ago and luckily, I was able to recover it. Just today (05/09/2022) I tried to add 2FA and Instagram asked me to verify using the hacker's phone number. I actually removed this number before. How it got back into my account is still a nothing but a bug to me. I wish I could also add screenshot to this review. I mean, how do I send a code to the hacker? It will only inform him to reclaim back my page. Handling hacked account recovery process to bots instead of humans who can actually verify faces and ID.

Zero stars!SHOCKING. No customer service whatsoever. I am totally locked out and cannot login at all. My email address, phone number, and username shows as active when I try to create a new profile. Yet, it's inactive when I need to reset my password. All the online forms say my account was disabled. It won't allow me to create a new account using an alternative email address either, it glitches out at create a password or input birthday. I've not done anything to go against the community guidelines. The only thing potentially is that I hadn't logged in for a while and it's booted me off - but I find that appalling. I've lost photos and connections with friends that I cannot recover. Really unhappy.

My account was restricted 3 times in a row with no reason given. Each time I had to provide a photo with code etc to unlock it again. The third time my account was "permanently disabled" with no reason given. I have no way to complain or appeal. I used my Instagram account for my small business and would NOT recommend any small business bother to use instagram - malicious competitors will flag your account multiple times until eventually the Instagram bot simply bans you for no reason and you will lose all your work.

I got hacked last may 2022 and for months on end having reported my hacked account instagram did nothing.I have not only had to rebuild my account having took 4-5 years growing my home account but i lost following and the hacker behind my old account was still getting away with it.Now having started a new account im now blocked for apparently sharing my account with a service to gain likes and followers.HELLO INSTAGRAM....you can allow hackers using my personal photos etc and do nothing yet you ban me for something i havent even done.Sort out your algorithm.I dont enjoy using anymoreOh by the way i get porn accounts viewing my stories and thats ok too.
