META MISTAKE AT MY EXPENSE: Instagram deleted my account with out justification!!

Today Instagram permanently deleted my account clearly without a person reviewing! I’ve got 7-8years worth of family and friends pictures and hiking highlights but my account has been deleted because they believe this is not my authentic identity!!!! I WASN'T EVEN GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO APPEAL AND PRESENT MY ID! This is so wrong!!!!! The help centre offers no helpful advice for someone in my situation, you cannot speak to anyone and if I could speak to someone this could be resolved

I have had to delete my account yet again - Instagram states it does not shadow ban - that is a load of rubbish. My photos were only being shown to followers who took the time to visit my profile - no non followers were seeing my stuff.Self employed or small businesses have no chance whatsoever - the Algorithm changes ever 14 minutes, Instagram it seems will only put your photos/videos out there if you are doing some foolish video posts, making yourself look an idiot just for people to see your work. TikTok wanabees

INSTAGRAM HELP!

Really unhappy with the service I have received from Instagram. Reported issue 6 times to the technical team over two weeks and had no correspondence or resolution. Instagram live chat is about as useful as a wet paper bag. Not willing to help or even give updates! My direct messages have not been loading for weeks now, and as I am an influencer and brands message me for collaborations… I CAN’T RESPOND! This is my last straw now else I will be going further with my complaint.

Ex boyfriend from almost 6 years ago…

Ex boyfriend from almost 6 years ago started harassing me on IG's platform. They refused to take down his profiles even though I have screenshots of what he said about hoping my kids were dead. They said nothing is wrong and moved on. I had to delete my other account bc he was continuously writing stuff on there. Screw Instagram. I hope they lose their current lawsuit and go under.

Instagram basically encourage child abuse. I reported that my son’s account had been hacked and was being used to send porn to his young friends. They just won’t respond. There is no contact info. You are just left to deal with the fall-out of their incompetence.

100% NO SAFETY FOR USERS !

My account has been hacked many times. I changed my password after every time I noticed strange activity on my account. I reported it to Instagram, and they didn't do anything. I have (a) hacker(s) who read my private messages between me and my friends, and like their messages on my behalf. I have not even read their message yet, and it has a like apparently from me!! I've had videos which I didn't see appear on my 'saved' file.Someone created a fake Instagram account of me 3 years before I even joined Instagram. They went on my portfolio website, downloaded my images without my consent, and without me even knowing - created a fake profile account, with a portrait I made of myself as profile picture, and uploaded the rest of my drawings. I have friends and family members who thought this was me!! They added this fake idiot who's posing as me on Instagram, thinking it is me!! I reported this to Instagram 3 times, and they got back to me saying "we don't see anything wrong with this file". Of course you don't, it's STOLEN WORK!!!!!!!!!!! My work, not yours!!!! The only person who will see what's wrong with this account, is the actual owner!!!! Why can't you check the owner of the account by the email address???? Why can't you check the location of activities???? If I am based in one country, How can I be in another country or continent at the same time????And It's not just me, it's EVERYONE! I've had friends saying a hacker created a fake account in their name, I've had hackers acting as celebrities contacting me. Which I reported all the time, and it get's taken down. Why does Instagram protect the privacy of celebrities, but ignore ordinary people??????THIS APP IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN!! I've had strange men contacting me privately. I am an adult, so I know what to watch out for, but I would hate this to happen to a child, and I'm sure it does happen.

i deserved with instagram. a total of almost 800k followers that I have been working on for years, hours and hours a day. unfortunately all my accounts are deleted without any reason and eventually i lose them. all the energy i put into instagram has been for nothing. they people behind instargram give a f#ck about you. they don't want to help you, they just want to make money. everyone should stop using this app so that a new social media platform can develop

I ad account got shut down during an ad that I had going!All because my old Facebook ad account was suspended for advertising my products in the past with no way to dispute it because they don't give you any warnings. So just this should not affect my account on Instagram because it is another site even though they also own Instagram. I do nothing against any of their rules like other people that post nude pictures and get away with it.

One star is even too much, my name is aura Raja Semrau and I am an artist. My account has been hacked and I don't even have access to my two factor authentication. Tried all the pages possible to report it, still didn't get it back. Tried the video selfie (on my Instagram my face is literally everywhere) still I didn't get it back and there is no way to have any real contact with a customer service team which is awful. I already did a report with my lawyer and if within the next months I don't get my access back in EU data violation can get to a fine of 50.000 euros. If meta thinks they're loosing money, let's see what will happen in the next months with the report of data violation from artists in the EU.

Instagram what a joke they care nothing for their customers

So my business page has been hacked’ 5 years of hard work lost 😡 Instagram of course will never admit that any account has been hacked and they will not help in sensible any way to retrieve a hacked account and return it to its rightful owner. They simply do not care and have this stupid system that sends you round in loops again and again with zero purpose .. once the hacker gets into your account they easily change the password or phone number. From that moment you are screwed. Because of course you cannot confirm your identity with instagrams stupid system because the two factor verification goes to the hackers phone number which they have already changed… Instagram cannot apply simple logic and reset a long standing account back to previous settings. When they know full well that the recent activity Is suspicious. They do not have a real system for verifying accounts belong to real people and do not care.. they have created a monster they cannot control and do not provide any valid or useful customer service whatsoever. Social media has become the way to run and build a business but sadly business owners are let down time after time by a giant of a company with no regard for the damage, the affects on honest people’s business and mental health. I’ve sat for hours with different so called advisors. All they do is pass you through the same process. Surely it is simple for them to see the changes are not real and reset an account or at least block the account.. they seem very able to block accounts of people who might show too much flesh etc so it must be possible they just won’t help!What a complete sham

While not violating ANY terms our account on fashion and lifestyle was closed for violating “community guidelines.” Users can destroy brands and businesses if they “flag” your content in an attempt to steal your audience and drive away competitionUnlike similar platforms which penalize accounts briefly or temporarily, Instagram will simply close your entire page. If you try to contact support, you get a bot email reply. Horrible, horrible company and zero customer service.Our thriving Instagram account with 190,000 loyal and dedicated followers was closed for NO reason.

I never post just browse and like stuff never even comment. . . why do I even get reviewed just like that? Happened few years ago already and that 24hrs was more like 4 days, expecting the same this time. Like I see some foul comments yet I get reviewed? This is why I don't want facebook/meta to have my info always weird bs. I don't see twitter or tiktok or other platforms do this. that it happened once I can say ok annoying but then again?! If instagram actually had a customer service that could be contacted people could at least reach out but forums such as reddit are full of complaints like this. Stop this.Update, as I said I never post only just like stuff yet account has been deleted for violating terms? Do the terms say I must post or something? Or is it because I anonymized my FB because you guys don't protect my data well enough? Go on and keep doing your ugly stuff like how you are talking power from a windpark that was initially meant for the people of that region and not your server center? Fake ECO moves yet I get deleted for what?

Went on last week to see a message My account is being reviewed. Now supposedly that takes1 day . 5 or 6 days later Im still getting message " your information is being reviewed " no explatation why . No way to contact . The getting of 2 lots of 6 digit codes took 2days . Then asked for a selfie with information held near my face with hand showing and writing to be clear and readable . Selfies are in reverse that is not clear and readable . So I flipped the image before sending . Maybe making the image clear and readable was wrong I dont know . Overall very disappointed in the review system
