I’m pretty sure they knew about a major issue with a house but tried to sell it us anyway. Thank god the surveyors and our solicitor smelled a rat in time for is to pull out the sale before we got saddled with a complete lemon. Which Oakmans got shirty about…next time maybe don’t cover for dodgy vendors

If I could leave a 0 star review I would

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. Please avoid at all costs. From the offset Oakmans seems welcoming, they have extremely flash cars and establishments showing you around their properties however, as soon as you sign they have no sense of urgency to fix problems with the property. They left students with no where else to go on placement in a filthy house which had not been cleaned since previous tenants, rat problems, fridge and washing machine a biohazard and not working, ect. They are also extremely rude over the phone and hang up on you whilst you are trying to fix an issue, they will not give you dates or answers when they attempt to resolve an issue and honestly wait until you forgot about it. On top of this, they take all your deposit when the house you left is in better condition than when you arrived. Shame on you Oakmans.

Shame on Oakmans for offering moldy student rentals. Deposit of £5,250 and £175 per person per week for double occupancy, 1 gross bathroom for 6 people, oh and don't forget about the black mold and crumbling walls. Surely this breaks so many rules. Shame on the landlord but also shame on Oakmans for representing them.
