GoogleNever believe any estate agency on Selly Oak We are trying to extend one more year of house where we are living currently, and now they ask me different information about guarantor. You will just be a slave of whichever property agency if you decide to live on student area housing wth your friends here. Also, they push and rush you as much stress as possible to obscure your decision as if there would be a disaster unless you were in a hurry to sign up for it only because they want to sort out their properties on Selly as soon as possible.

GoogleI used oakman to rent my property last year. I was told to remove the furniture because they rented to two brothers who didn't want the sofa. A day before the proposed move in date, I was told the tenant failed reference. I am still trying get an apology from the agency. Today I got email to say they didn't know who asked to remove the furniture, my house was empty when they went in!

GoogleOakmans are awful if you are a student and looking to rent. There is only one person who I would trust at Oakmans, he is a tall older man. Oakmans and the landlord of the property left me and my housemates without hot water and heating in the winter months leading up to christmas. I reported the boiler not working in the summer and the maintenance team did not send anyone out as they did not believe me. So we had to wait for the boiler to break before they would do anything. Oakmans and the landlord try and take a lot of money from you. Our wifi was not working so we spoke to BT who said they would sort something out with the landlords permission as the wifi was in his name. The landlord was trying to charge us £240 for a BT technician to come out...
