GoogleRented a very dirty and faulty flat with a lot of hidden things to repair. They did get it cleaned once I was in the flat and could not stand the state it was given to me. But it should not have been like this when they say it is professionally cleaned. It wasn't. I got tired of reporting the number of things that were wrong with the flat. I was deceived by them during covid times as they only did virtual viewings. Stay away from this agency and save on stress and money.

GoogleAppalling from start to finish Appalling from start to finish, bad experience as a Landlord, and also feel for the tenants, very poor communication throughout and use bullying tactics, hiding the fact they let to tenants who paid in advance and then that they served a section 21 notice that wasn't valid , particularly bad service from Shanti Bailey who seems to think she is a paralegal when she has no clue about serving court papers! My honest advice as a professional landlord would be to use a small company or do it yourself

GoogleThe tenant deposit protection theme was not properly complied with in this agent. I rent the property two/three years ago and paid the deposit. However, I neither receive the deposit certificate or the account access code applied by the landlord when I asked them to do so, which means I am fully out-of-control of my deposit due to their unclear application. It's tenant's right to have the deposit certificate and could check the safety of the deposit while this agent together with landlord fully ignore this regulation and ignore the interests of the tenants. It makes me concerned the potential "black box" they created in the business. My comments is this agent is irresponsible and ignore the interests of consumers.

From the very first viewing until last day when collected property keys in person last Monday, Vinnay showed highly professional skills, took speed actions at once. He is a pleasant, well educated and lovely gentleman. Every single request was taken with great attention, with proper positive actions. It was a great pleasure to cooperate to Vinnay, not just myself but conveyancing solicitor and our whole team no doubt, would share my point of view indeed. All worked well, we are very happy. GoogleVery bad for tenants. Many issues were raised for over a month but no solution. Some issues are affecting health like radiators not working and it has been a month and that too in December and January where it’s so cold but no solution yet. E mailed many times but no one is even bothered to reply. Good in terms of chasing you for monthly rent but very bad in terms of providing even basic level services. Very disappointed and Will not recommend.

GooglePlease, please beware of having ANY interaction with this estate agent if you plan to rent a property. I never post reviews online, but I make an exception now because I am so infuriated with the horrific standard of customer care I have received. They were extremely difficult to deal with from the get go. This was my 19th time renting a property (the life of a medic!), so I have a lot of experience and I've never had to deal with such a poor level of professionalism. During my tenancy, they arranged numerous viewings without getting my prior approval. On one occasion, the lights were left on all weekend when I was away, which no doubt added greatly to my electricity bill. It is over 5 weeks since I moved out and have still not received my deposit back despite my numerous phone calls and emails, which have remained unanswered. On their "check-out" report, they listed faults that were clearly present before I ever moved in. I left that property as I found it. I am extremely perturbed by it all as I have been an exemplary tenant, always paying my rent on time and facilitating their requests, often inconveniencing myself in the process. I have never come across such poor standards. Do yourself a favour and AVOID engaging at all costs!

GoogleI have used this estate agent twice for property sales - both times there were some problems along the way (nothing to do with Martin and Co) but both times their professional advice and support did a great deal to move the process along. They always respond to emails and calls - which many firms do not - so I knew where I was, and they did their best to help chase up a much less responsive solicitor. In a time of free or cheap online-only firms, I still believe that paying for a proper estate agent you can actually talk to and meet in person is a wise investment.
