Rented an Apartment in Ridley House for 3 years. This is the feedback in regards to the agent Miss Sarah -Louise. Our experience with this agency, particularly with Lady Sarah-Louise, was extremely disappointing. She displayed a lack of empathy, basic understanding, and professionalism throughout our tenancy. When my husband’s right to rent expired in May 2025, we tried to end the tenancy early, which seemed like a logical step given our legal inability to remain in the country or work. However, the agency refused, insisting that we continue paying rent for the remaining two months of the contract, despite our circumstances. They continually attempted to extract more money from us, even going so far as to demand early exit fees. Despite explaining that we had no income and requesting they deduct the outstanding amount from our security deposit, they declined. Sarah-Louise, in particular, was extremely difficult to communicate with during this period. She ignored our repeated attempts to reach a fair and reasonable resolution. It’s deeply frustrating, especially considering the care we took in maintaining the property. Despite this, our situation was met with indifference and unresponsiveness. We were essentially expected to continue paying rent, even after leaving the UK, without any flexibility or compassion. When our point of contact in Birmingham visited to return the keys they were interrogated and received an unfair treatment as if we were lying about the visa expiry circumstances and constantly asked them to call us forgetting the time difference and disturbed us as it was midnight in New Zealand. At the end it was so frustrating we couldn’t leave the country on a happy note due to this mental pressure that this company put on us and felt like maybe because we’re Indians she is being racist. If you are an Indian and value peace of mind and fair treatment, I would strongly advise avoiding this agency. If you have unlimited money to spend then please go ahead as they love big spenders .
