Dixons advertised my property very fast on Rightmove, and arranged the viewing quickly after that. However, I am not impressed with the management team. The second month rent was delayed because the tenant did not set up the direct debit properly. I am paying Dixons for the full management. It should not be the landlord to call the agent saying the rent has not arrived. It should be their job to make sure tenant is paying on time if its full management. Also, It seems like a miscommunication about the insurance policy. They said I can ask them to rent the house for me, but decide if I want to buy insurance from them. I have decide to get insurance by myself. But found out they just purchased the insurance for me without even confirm with me. I noticed on the 3rd day after they insured for me. I quickly wrote to them and called them to cancel it. They said they did. I emailed them again to confirm. They emailed me back after 12 days confirming they have cancelled it for me. But they already charged for the 1st month saying I did not read the terms and conditions properly. The phone number of the property manager never work. The phone line Dixons provided is only instruction-like voice mail. I have not managed to find the property manager myself. I do thank Dixons for advertising quickly. Tina is particularly helpful. But I am not so sure if they can manage the property well enough for landlord. For the sale: The sale team did a good job arranging the viewing and secured my offer. Thank you.

I did not receive the level of mortgage…

I did not receive the level of mortgage support I expected from this company. While their general customer service was satisfactory, the mortgage advisor was not helpful. Despite charging a substantial fee, I do not feel that he secured the best possible deal for me. In my view, Mr. Mazar Singh appeared more focused on maximising his own profit than on acting in the best interests of the customer, particularly given his £700 fee.

Dixons Erdington made it easy

I've recently completed, I was a first time buyer, I'd had a previous bad experience where a dodgy seller pulled out at the last minute and cost me money, I was kind of struggling with the whole process, but Dixons made it easy for me. I was shown round the property by Alison, who knew everything about the property and the area, even who the neighbours were, then from there Sarah handled it and she was brilliant, always keeping me informed and chasing the other solicitor. Then my solicitor went into administration and couldn't carry on working and even then Sarah told me exactly what to do and handled it all for me once I had a new solicitor. It was a massive relief in the end. I'd definitely recommend Dixons after that.

Dixons - Erdington Branch - my brother and I sold our late parents property through Dixons Erdington. Charlotte Rose is a magician! Charlotte was superb from the outset with open and honest discussions about the property and excellent advice to sell the property via the Modern Auction Method. Charlotte had developers/buyers on her books who didn’t waste time. They visited the house and confirmed the same afternoon that they wanted to buy the house. A stress-free sale with no fuss and no mess. Also, Charlotte was very supportive, caring and assisted with arranging ID checks and documentation for my brother. Charlotte, again, turned into a magician by having a stunning flat on her books which was perfect for my brother and she negotiated a great price.
