The team at Dixons have been utterly amazing. I cannot fault them. Jan has been there to help from the point of sale to the completion. She has gone above and beyond, has always called me at the end of the day to update me because she knew how anxious I was. I had an issue with getting a deposit released for the rental on a property, where it was taking a significant amount of time to resolve, despite numerous phone calls and emails. With the far reaching changes in legislation for property rentals, I decided it was time to hand mine over to professional letting agents. Sophie Hodgson has helped and advised me every step of the way, even responding to emails in the evening to ensure I was updated promptly. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sophie. I Wouldn't even give this place 1 stars! They are the rudest estate agents iv had to deal with, iv recently just moved out of a property which I rented through Dixons & id definitely AVOID now if I was going to rent again . Timothy Reynolds was nothing but rude about me leaving threatening extra charges for leaving the property as he couldn't be botherd to read my tenancy agreement and see that under the break clauses I ended my tenancy in the correct way. All he cares about is getting his commission at the end of the day from there over priced properties. Daniella Lawmon also rude from this branch, questioning me about why I was leaving the property & also trying to threaten me with additional charges which where NOT in my agreement. They don't push the landlord on getting any repairs done they just fob you off on the phone with aload of rubbish to make sure you keep paying that rent every month so they get their commission!!. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

Our house move spanned 10 months, almost everything that could go wrong went wrong. Without Dale, Krystal and the team at Dixons, Selly Oak - we don't think it would have ever happened. They are courteous, professional, knowledgeable and able to predict scenarios and offer advice on the best way to deal with the issues that arose. They kept us constantly updated and we got to know them well. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending their services and actually, seeing how other agents in the chain operated, urge people to use them. We cannot speak highly enough of the team and would like to thank them for being with us every step of the way on our roller coaster experience. We have now eventually settled into our new home and would like to wish the team a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and also a heartfelt thank you for your assistance along the way. Disappointing experience with property management and deposits

After two years as a tenant, the most I can give Dixons Estate Agents is a 1-star review. While the initial setup was fine, the ongoing experience was very frustrating. When dealing with renewals, repairs, or the deposit team, the staff were consistently unresponsive and quick to shift the blame elsewhere. I never felt that they were on my side. At the end of our tenancy, they attempted to make unjustified deductions from our deposit for standard wear and tear, and we had to rely on the independent deposit scheme to get our money back. I would not work with them again nor recommend them to anyone. If you do rent with them, make sure you document everything.
