Can't thank the team enough for the all they've done for us in selling our first home and also helping us find our new one. DELIVERING ON THEIR PROMISES!!! What can we say...The service we received from Dixon’s in selling our house was “perfection”. The whole team - Lucy B (Branch Manager), Ann, Korron and Dale (Now Branch Manager) was excellent. We were a little concerned when Lucy left to work in another branch but the handover to Dale was seamless who continued where Lucy signed off. If you are looking to sell (or buy) your home in the Kings Norton area, I highly recommend the Dixons KN branch. Dixons provided the most professional sales pitch for out house sale, best research and rationale for pricing, and had the house on the market quickly with a thorough sales pack. The house sold in a week. Dixons didn't need chasing, they provided constant follow ups and contact to keep us up to date, make sure sale was progressing in a timely manner, co-ordinating with the buyers, our solicitors and us. I did not receive the level of mortgage…

I did not receive the level of mortgage support I expected from this company. While their general customer service was satisfactory, the mortgage advisor was not helpful. Despite charging a substantial fee, I do not feel that he secured the best possible deal for me. In my view, Mr. Mazar Singh appeared more focused on maximising his own profit than on acting in the best interests of the customer, particularly given his £700 fee.

Dixons Erdington made it easy

I've recently completed, I was a first time buyer, I'd had a previous bad experience where a dodgy seller pulled out at the last minute and cost me money, I was kind of struggling with the whole process, but Dixons made it easy for me. I was shown round the property by Alison, who knew everything about the property and the area, even who the neighbours were, then from there Sarah handled it and she was brilliant, always keeping me informed and chasing the other solicitor. Then my solicitor went into administration and couldn't carry on working and even then Sarah told me exactly what to do and handled it all for me once I had a new solicitor. It was a massive relief in the end. I'd definitely recommend Dixons after that.

We are currently in the process of purchasing a property for my mother, it was a stressful process at the start as we previously dealt with some untrustworthy, miserable estate agents. However, it has been completely different with Dixons. We met Korron on our second viewing, straight away she was super friendly and kind towards my 1 year old son, which instantly made me feel comfortable. Dixons - Erdington Branch - my brother and I sold our late parents property through Dixons Erdington. Charlotte Rose is a magician! Charlotte was superb from the outset with open and honest discussions about the property and excellent advice to sell the property via the Modern Auction Method. Charlotte had developers/buyers on her books who didn’t waste time. They visited the house and confirmed the same afternoon that they wanted to buy the house. A stress-free sale with no fuss and no mess. Also, Charlotte was very supportive, caring and assisted with arranging ID checks and documentation for my brother. Charlotte, again, turned into a magician by having a stunning flat on her books which was perfect for my brother and she negotiated a great price. I have dealt with Dixons Estate Agents on several house viewings in Birmingham, and my experience has been excellent. Amy and Claire are genuinely the nicest estate agents I have met. They are energetic, professional, and, most importantly, they take the time to listen. They really paid attention to my preferences for buying a house, made thoughtful recommendations, and never once tried to push a property on me that didn’t feel right.

Avoid Dixons kings Norton branch. They will miss sell you a property. I was in the process of buying a property when notice a defect in the gable wall. I notified Anne Hucket, but she said nothing was wrong with the wall. She advised me the client had two surveys at the property and there is no structure damage (see attachment). After her email assuring me there is no structure problem with the wall I proceeded with my purchase. When my surveyor went out to do a structure survey he informed me the gable wall has structure damage and the gable walls needs to be taken down and re built which was going to cost me £20,000. The level of service from Lucy Bacon and Anne Hucket was terrible. They wouldn't return my calls once I sent them a copy of my structure survey. I then sent a formal complaint to there head office and executive team who would not accept responsibility. Apparently it's not there job to check surveyor reports when the vendor has informed them they've had a survey done. I then reffered my case to The Property Ombudsman who looked in to my case. The property ombudsman thoroughly investigated everything and went in my favour and Dixons was ordered to compensate by the property ombudsman. My advice to any potential buyers is to avoid this branch and believe anything from Anne Hucket or Lucy Bacon without the relevant paper work. No up

I went to Dixon for a flat on Oldbury, all god till i got there to see the propriety i was shocking in what condition was the flat, absolutely disgusting, they want 850£ rent for one bedroom and another 850£ deposit, the condition of the walls absolutely unbelievably all wallpaper falls down and tales from kitchen missing, no dors between bedroom and kitchen, and at the end I have refused to get the flat they refuse to refunding my holdings fees, absolutely legal robers this agents.

Bad experience

I would strongly advise to stay away from dixons/countrywide letting agents from managing a rental property. Especially the Warwickshire office as they would do everything in every opportunity to instruct their own contractors making false allegations of works required on the rental property to make money for themselves. They also hide their complaints procedures when contacted directly and asked about the process and their calls are not recorded so they make things up and completely disregard any instructions given by the landlords. Unfortunately complete professional crooks. They will put all sorts of barriers to raise a complaint and refrain from providing a final response to prevent escalation for their governing body to investigate.

We have used Kings Norton Dixons recently to sell our house. Viewings were booked as soon as it was put on the market and we had an offer we accepted within a couple of days. On paper the buyer was perfect but in reality she was not very motivated and her chosen solicitors were about as useful as a chocolate teapot!
