If it wasn't for the guys in kings heath I don't think I'd be in my new property and can't thank them enough. Ian and Dejan were both amazing and helped me through the whole process of buying. Would recommend using their internal solicitors as I didn't have luck with external solicitors which caused a delay.

Disgusting Company! - AVOID!!

I Wouldn't even give this place 1 stars!They are the rudest estate agents iv had to deal with (Selly Oak Branch), iv recently just moved out of a property which I rented through Dixons & id definitely AVOID now if I was going to rent again . Timothy Reynolds was nothing but rude about me leaving threatening extra charges for leaving the property as he couldn't be botherd to read my tenancy agreement and see that under the break clauses I ended my tenancy in the correct way. All he cares about is getting his commission at the end of the day from there over priced properties. Daniella Lawmon also rude from this branch, questioning me about why I was leaving the property & also trying to threaten me with additional charges which where NOT in my agreement. They don't push the landlord on getting any repairs done they just fob you off on the phone with aload of rubbish to make sure you keep paying that rent every month so they get their commission!!. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

Fake electrical certificate was given when bought a house through Dixons in Yardley

Bought a property through Dixons has a first time buyer and even decided to use David Smith for my Mortgage and I can say what a lovely man he is, he did all the hard work and running around, kept me updated at all times right until I had my house keys so thank you to him, will definitely be using him again and recommending him to all. When initially putting an offer on the house, I felt when it came to the price Zoe was playing on the fact I really liked the house and wanted it and so games were being played and I ended up paying £5k over the asking price which I really regret because when moving into the house, I found so many problems. When I spoke to Zoe about dodgy Electric work with a fake certificate given, she ignored it and said she can't do anything, even thou the person who sold the property is well known to Dixons. Highly advise everyone to paid and get a survey completed and not just rely on the Bank to theirs. Elite Properties LTD is the company that's sells house through Dixons with fake electric certificates.

Dixons Erdington Letting Services

Dixons Erdington, are a subsidiary of Countrywide run from their Warwick office. They provided abysmal management of my property. They missed 10 inspections over 5 years, lost the original contract, failed to handle tenant communications and their convoluted processes lead to repeated mistakes. Manager Raza Muhammad ignored my correspondence, was borderline aggressive when spoken to on the phone (the single time he spoke to me) and failed to provide the requested Terms of Business or confirm a move-out inspection, leaving me unaware of my property’s condition for re-letting. The branch was inexplicably closed during opening hours when I arrived to collect my keys, despite prior notification.

DO NOT USE DIXONS SELLYOAK- we rented our house through DIXONS SellyOak for 1 year. Our house was to be managed and agreed regular contact to keep us updated that the house was in the immaculate condition it was given to them. The property was not monitored or maintained there was no contact from the agents or visits undertaken until we complained following a visit to the property. We ended the contract for the tenants to leave at the end of their contract. Another month in our house. We entered the property which took us 5 days to clean with faeces down the radiators and all over the floors. Damaged high gloss kitchen bathroom suite dirt and grime everywhere. The deposits team awarded us £270.00 to replace and repair although they had the cheek to still take their management fees. Complaints are a waste of time it’s just an email process. I would not recommend DIXONS as an agent for renting buying or selling they are useless !!! They don’t look after your home at all they are just happy to make a quick buck - robbers 🤬🤬🤬🤬.

Would give 0 star if could. This Estate Agents has no idea to sell a property. Four times had to contact them to get the description and price corrected. It was beyond belief how wrong and incompetent they were with the handling of our sale. They put it on the internet to sell without reading what they had actually put and they had put incorrect price twice, probably losing out on a sale. In the end we had to withdraw. There was no apology no response to our numerous emails and texts. Very unprofessional. Wasted months of possible lost sales. Cannot recommend from our view and experience.

DO NOT USE DIXONS HALESOWEN IN-HOUSE BUILDING SURVEYORS & MORTGAGE COMPANY £20000 OUT OF POCKET ! . I purchased a house from them and used there building home buyer surveyor and mortgage company as I felt pressured to take the service as they said they had lots of buyers for the house and that they would only sell if I taken a mortgage with them . I had the report come back from Dixons building surveyors saying the house was fine and in good state . I was then put on a high interest mortgage rate which I questioned but yet again told that was the best deal and gave me the rights to buy now . Received the keys 2 weeks ago from the sales manager Matthew who was rushing to get me out of the branch as he was busy and load and be behold all issues came to light . Found subsidence at the front of house , the walls were all damp in the living room and kitchen which have now been found that there been a leak that been there for long time .all windows were blown , the electrics had faulty wiring and has to be condemned . I had to get an independent survey done after getting the keys and it found out that the house is in serious state of repair ! . It’s now going to cost me over £20000 out of my own money which if Dixons didn’t give a false home building surveyor I wouldn’t of brought the house but I guess that’s how they scam people . All the problems with the house and the Dixons scam I’ve now had to take this to legal matters as I have been falsely sold this house with the state of repair and the evidence shows this. If I could give a zero I would . Always do your research and go elsewhere then Dixons Halesowen. BE CAREFULL !

Poor, agressive service

I used the Birmingham City Centre branch.All started well. We had the valuation done by a very professional agent who told that we could achieve X price on the sale of my flat and would probably sell within 2 months.We had an offer of 15k below asking price and a different agent (Ian) who now handled our case was very annoyed that we wouldn't accept that and implied that the flat had been overvalued. Once we had an offer at asking and accepted it, it turns out that he had told every viewer that due to a 20yr doubling clause in the lease that the flat would be difficult to buy and require a deed if variation, but no problem as I had apparently agreed to pay for this in full myself, even though I didn't agree to this at all. This eventually cost me a grand total of £6k in solicitors and admin fees to our freeholder.We spoke to other people who had sold in the building recently and they said that they hadnt required a DOV. At every stage Ian was very illusive and hard to pin down to facts, whenever a hard conversation needed to be had he suddenly had people arrive to 'collect keys' or he would have to run off for a photoshoot leaving the call. Genuinely some of the most hostile and agressive customer service I have ever received in my life.The buyer then after THREE MONTHS decided to change lender and solicitor (the solicitor that Ian had personally recommended) on Ian's advice and he had not consulted me about the change at all, blaming me for everything he could. It honestly felt like he was working for the buyer and not me.All in all, extremely poor and hostile service. It improved dramatically after Ian mysteriously left the branch and his role was taken on by someone else who was able to give the buyer a push, that is the only reason I tacked on a second star.

I approached Dixons with the…

I approached Dixons with the unfortunate belief and opinion of being a highly reputable leading hight street brand able to produce a property market appraisal local to the Dixons branch. Upon meeting the particular agent; Ricky Reynolds of the Warwick Road, Acocks Green, Birmingham B27 6RG, branch, I was very disappointed with the lack of market knowledge presented. Moreover, I felt a very disconnect to facilitate the customer needs. I still await after three weeks for them to produce a market appraisal and sellers fee proposal, after chasing them a second time, I feel it should be up to the branch to follow up their own enquiries and customer leads. It is a big shame on Dixons such a national brand and to also learn Ricky@Dixons is a branch manager - responsible for letting down potential custom and the company’s name going down the drain. Sorry - but their are plenty of other company’s who are greatly obliging and pro to their name. Time is precious for all and not following up from your own execution of home visits, then I would suggest a further rigorous solution to qualify inquiries is in need. Henceforth, at the Acocks Green branch, I would consider, vast training is required. For all other potential customers reading this; if you are requiring a greatly improved service, always try the neighbouring competition of estate agents on Warwick Road.

Would like to thank Matt Till From Halesowen Branch wholeheartedly for his attentiveness and understanding during a very difficult time whilst we were going through our move during last few months. Due to the virus everything took a lot longer than normally would but he ensured that all involved were advised often and he never failed to follow up and to keep us informed. Would highly recommend him and the rest of the team. We had a very unsettling and difficult time whilst selling a deceased persons house prior to and during this pandemic.Matt Till and the others we dealt with in Halesowen branch were exemplary under these difficult circumstances. They introduced suitable buyers to view In the first instance and we sold within 24 hours. All was going well until lockdown and the furloughing of staff - at both the estate agents and solicitors. This for us was extraordinarily difficult to deal with both emotionally and practically as everything took 3 months longer than originally expected.Matt’s assurences were invaluable and once normal service resumed he constantly contacted the conveyancing services on our behalf to avoid any further delays and instantly advised us directly to do whatever was necessary to assist the process.
