The team are what makes these guys great at what they do. If you are genuinely considering online estate agents for your house sale, my advice would be - you get what you pay for. Charlotte was great at listing stage, listened to our requirements, gave good advice, and we sold our place on the first listing Sarah, was another level in terms of service. Throughout the process of organising the move she was absolutely superb. Couldn't have moved without her help, support and persistence in dealing with a number of issues and delays (CV19, Solicitors, Christmas, Searches etc etc etc)! Me and my husband have just recently completed our first house purchase (yaay!) through the help of the most brilliant, Dixons Estate Agent's senior mortgage consultant: Danielle Robinson. We had been looking for a house for over a year now and due to covid were really struggling and stuck in a rut. But Danielle was really brilliant with us, she broke everything down, her availability was brilliant, responding to calls/texts/emails straight away. Even when we had queries that weren't really in her remit she would always try her best to help or direct us to something else that would be helpful. From our offer being accepted to completing took just 10 weeks and we are so grateful we had such a helpful mortgage advisor through such a scary time! I did not receive the level of mortgage…

I did not receive the level of mortgage support I expected from this company. While their general customer service was satisfactory, the mortgage advisor was not helpful. Despite charging a substantial fee, I do not feel that he secured the best possible deal for me. In my view, Mr. Mazar Singh appeared more focused on maximising his own profit than on acting in the best interests of the customer, particularly given his £700 fee.

Dixons Erdington made it easy

I've recently completed, I was a first time buyer, I'd had a previous bad experience where a dodgy seller pulled out at the last minute and cost me money, I was kind of struggling with the whole process, but Dixons made it easy for me. I was shown round the property by Alison, who knew everything about the property and the area, even who the neighbours were, then from there Sarah handled it and she was brilliant, always keeping me informed and chasing the other solicitor. Then my solicitor went into administration and couldn't carry on working and even then Sarah told me exactly what to do and handled it all for me once I had a new solicitor. It was a massive relief in the end. I'd definitely recommend Dixons after that.

Dixons - Erdington Branch - my brother and I sold our late parents property through Dixons Erdington. Charlotte Rose is a magician! Charlotte was superb from the outset with open and honest discussions about the property and excellent advice to sell the property via the Modern Auction Method. Charlotte had developers/buyers on her books who didn’t waste time. They visited the house and confirmed the same afternoon that they wanted to buy the house. A stress-free sale with no fuss and no mess. Also, Charlotte was very supportive, caring and assisted with arranging ID checks and documentation for my brother. Charlotte, again, turned into a magician by having a stunning flat on her books which was perfect for my brother and she negotiated a great price. Well, where do I begin... I have been working with Dixons in Erdington for some years now. They have never disappointed. On this occasion I worked with Nadia in lettings. She was amazing! I could tell she was overwhelmed in the office, with the sheer amount of work she had cut out, due to the lockdown and having to deal with social distancing rules, but she was always cheerful, was able to deliver excellent customer service and worked efficiently and effectively when dealing with my needs. From my initial contact with Nadia, within a week, I had a new tenant, who is now settled and happy in her new space. I have tried to work with other agencies in the area previously, but none were able to offer the service I received from Nadia. They would give empty promises, fob me off, not answer any enquires or the phones ring out, with no one manning the lines. To me this is a bad way to run a business and a great way to lose customers. Nadia has been a real joy to work with. As mentioned earlier, she was able to keep her cool, during a stressful period of global uncertainty and was quick to respond to any enquiries I had. That is the perfect way to run a business. A massive round of applause to you Nadia! Keep doing what you do, because you are amazing at it!

I use Dixons find a Tenant service regularly. Invariably these days it's Amy and Nadia that work on my requirements but sometimes Hannah is also involved. I'm a hard task master and don't suffer fools gladly. I must say they all do a great job and meet the target timescales to find great tenants. Dixons Erdington are always my first port of call when any of my Erdington properties need a tenant. They always meet my requirements before I need to consider getting more help. I went to Dixon for a flat on Oldbury, all god till i got there to see the propriety i was shocking in what condition was the flat, absolutely disgusting, they want 850£ rent for one bedroom and another 850£ deposit, the condition of the walls absolutely unbelievably all wallpaper falls down and tales from kitchen missing, no dors between bedroom and kitchen, and at the end I have refused to get the flat they refuse to refunding my holdings fees, absolutely legal robers this agents.

Bad experience

I would strongly advise to stay away from dixons/countrywide letting agents from managing a rental property. Especially the Warwickshire office as they would do everything in every opportunity to instruct their own contractors making false allegations of works required on the rental property to make money for themselves. They also hide their complaints procedures when contacted directly and asked about the process and their calls are not recorded so they make things up and completely disregard any instructions given by the landlords. Unfortunately complete professional crooks. They will put all sorts of barriers to raise a complaint and refrain from providing a final response to prevent escalation for their governing body to investigate.
