Worst interaction and customer care I…

Worst interaction and customer care I have ever experienced. I am a new landlord and decided to rent my property out. After a week or so I was told a couple and 1 family member had offered on my property. I was told they were 2 professionals tenants and the third tenant wouldn’t be referenced as she was pregnant and not working. I wanted professional tenants only but the estate agents were well aware I was pregnant myself and I feel they have made up a story based on my circumstances to play on my emotions and heart strings! I accepted the tenants based on the information I was presented. I later found out by the tenants themselves that they had no children and had never been pregnant, this was completely made up. The story I was told was completely fabricated by the estate agent Karun and Harry, they took advantage of me. A few months after the tenants had moved into the property I discovered from my neighbour that 6 people were living in the property and not the initial 3 that I was told. I spent over 20k refurbing my property and it’s very disheartening to know that the people that are renting it out are not the only persons living in it. I booked in an inspection with the tenants directly and I was shocked to see several mattresses in the living room and next to the beds in both bedrooms! There was also a piece of paper sellotaped to my recently new and painted bathroom door which read, rules of the bathroom. It was clear more than 3 persons were living at the property. My neighbours have provided my with cctv from their ring door bell and I’m shocked. The estate agents manage my property however the tenants text and call me when issuesarise sooo what exactly is the management fee that I’m paying for? I have made many complaints about Karun and Harry to the owners of the estate agents, countrywide however these complaints have landed on deaf ears! I have made a complaint about the above because it has and is causing me so much stress… Countrywide who own Bairstow Eves have responded to my complaint saying that the references was a misunderstanding on the estate agents part and apologising… No resolution offered! It wasn’t a misunderstanding, I questioned the referencing multiple times and each time I was assured. The referencing process is very strict with any estate agent so simply saying it was a misunderstanding is a lie! With regards to the extra persons living in my property, Bairstow Eves have said this wasn’t the case at the start of the tenancy. Despite them managing my property, they haven’t offered a resolution or told me what they are going to do to make things right! I have emailed them today informing them the tenants are in breach of their contact and the estate agents are not acting within my best interest! The customer service is awful at this estate agents and they continuously lie anyway they can to agree a deal! They do not take accountability for their mistakes and also have an excuse. There owners countrywide have not been helpful either. I’m currently obtaining legal advice and progressing this!! If you’re looking for an honest estate agent, I would urge you to read my review first!

I was loosing hope finding the right house and actually being able to get a house that was right for me and my family but Kelly made it all happen for us when I was giving up. After a terrible experience with a estate agent I was reluctant to even go back to market but Jess and her team were amazing and kept me informed all the way always answered the telephone and were beyond helpful throughout the complete process I could not recommend highly enough if you are local to Acocks green then this is the only estate agents I would trust they get the job done amazingly and won’t let you down unlike there local rivals. Sukie is a consummate professional! He is extremely thorough and efficient and kept me informed throughout my mortgage application. He clearly communicated each step and then followed this up with emails which confirmed our conversations. This enabled me to have a record of all of our transactions. I found Sukie extremely reassuring and honest! I had previously had a bad experience with my bank but he was determined to put me at my ease and inspired confidence. There was never any rush when we discussed my options. He presented my choices and gently advised, always with my specific needs being taken into consideration. In this way, Sukie guided me towards the best option for me. I have no hesitation in recommending Sukie and Bairstow Eves!

I met Kelly during my property viewing, she is kind , friendly and understanding. Kelly replies to and answers all queries effectively, she is very professional and good at her job, Sukie is also the mortgage broker who works for countrywide alongside Kelly at bairstow eve. Through my experience with Sukie in terms of my mortgage advice and application, he is the best in the game. Sukie is very professional, kind and understanding. Sukie has helped me so much and I am grateful for his help. I have recommended both of them to other people that are looking to buy a house. They have a good team I cannot recommend enough.

Absolutely amazing support from Kelly she was brilliant from the day we met her to the day we actually completed the sale of our new home. The day the completion went through she was the only one in the office waiting for us to hand us our keys this was well after 4pm. She promised to find us a house and she delivered. There was some drama which made it extra difficult during the sale of the house but Kelly stayed with us and her support was reassuring and much needed to guide us over the finishing line. This is our first home and once we have made the minor adjustments to it, it will be just the way we want it. So a great big Thank You to Kelly, Sophie who jumped on board while Kelly was not working. Bairstowes are a amazing estate agent with an exceptional member of staff. Thank You so much loads of love from Me Gita and our two boys who love the house by the way.

They do a bare minimum so we ended up without a flat

I would give 0 stars if i could. We dealt with Stratford agency. Let me explain the situation. We found a flat to buy and unfortunately, the agency that published it was Bairstow eves.The first bad sign was that we waited for a man who should've shown us a property for 15 minutes (his name is Vasco Correia, just so you know the heroes by names) and after 3 calls to their call centre we were told to try to call the apartment number as he's already there. We've called a few times - failed. We managed to enter the building and get to the flat after a while. When Vasco opened the door we complained about the situation and that we'd been waiting for 20+ minutes to which he replied "so what? are you going to see the flat or not?". We were pissed with the attitude and the situation but had a look on a flat. We liked the flat so much and decided to make an offer (hadn't trusted our guts, unfortunately).The process took 6 months, each time we had to call them ourselves because otherwise, we didn't receive any updates from them and the seller. Our sales progression was Ellie Lynch (well, I would call her sales REgression). Every time she and her colleagues told us that they were doing their best but if it was true we wouldn't ended up being homeless. We've been telling her that our tenancy contract will end at the end of October since August and she didn't tell us that we should prolong it as the seller is looking for a new home herself and won't move out until she buys it. So we trusted them and ended up without a flat with all our stuff.I hate the day we've decided to proceed with this agency and the flat they listed. Hope everyone who's uncertain to work or not to work with Bairstow eves will choose not to work but to save their mental health and their money.

Definitely find a better estate agent

A few weeks ago I received a telephone call from a young member of staff at Bairstow Eves. He asked me if I was interested in selling my property. I told him no. I had bought it through them funnily enough and had just spent four months renovating it. He suggested I have a valuation despite my saying I didn’t want to sell. Eventually I agreed because I thought it would be good to see what it was worth now it had been renovated. Two text messages and a long and detailed email confirming that the manager was looking forward to meeting me at my property later that week at 12:30. She didn’t turn up and when I telephoned, I was informed that it was a desktop valuation, despite the fact that I had a an email telling me the valuation would be at my property. Having dealt with them when I bought the property and having them not bothering to respond to my email to express my dissatisfaction that they hadn’t bothered to come and do the valuation, I would never ever deal with them again. I think they are a shabby organisation and there are much better estate agents to deal with.

My past experiences of using estate agents for house purchases or sales have never been positive. That is until now. Our transaction was fairly simple as we had a first time buyer buying our house and that was the end of the chain. I found communications excellent. Never any delays. Always helpful. Always on time. If the option to leave more than 5 stars was possible I most certainly would have left more. From the first meeting with Jess the Branch Manager, we knew she was the person we wanted to act for us in the sale of our property. We had already had two other Estate Agents out before Jess, but there was no doubt in our mind who we were going to go with. Through out our whole experience, everything has been dealt with very professionally & efficiently. Whenever I have phoned with questions/queries, Jess and her team, (big shout out to Sophie who I have dealt with as much as Jess) have always been extremely pleasant, nothing has been to much trouble, and if I have phoned and had to leave a message, I have always had a call back the same day from either Jess or Sophie, in response to my message. It all started as an idea, and then it became a thought, that has pushed me to go and see a few houses. When I first seen the house, it felt like home the moment i stepped trough the front door.
