GoogleReally needed an apartment in Birmingham and being from London had no clue as to where we should look! Tom & Charlotte were incredible and found us what turned out to be one of the best apartments I've ever lived in - great location, facing a park, lovely area and development!! Definitely 5 stars!

GoogleI've found Avery Residential to be very professional, friendly and quick to respond to the needs/requests of tenants and landlords. There aren't many letting agents in Birmingham that still offer a personal, friendly service but Avery are, in my experience, one of the best agents around.

GoogleI would suggest this company check the legislation for accepting DSS - my ex daughter in law was told today that it is 'company policy' not to accept housing benefit and due to the fees they charge. This is now classed as discrimination. In Sept 2020 housing benefit discrimination was ruled unlawful - meaning letting agents and landlords cannot refuse tenants on this basis and from 1st June 2019 they cannot charge fees the only payments should be a refundable deposit and obviously the weekly/monthly rent. Will be reporting them to the Property Ombudsman.

GoogleExcellent letting agents! I was with them for over 3 years and cannot fault them. Very easy to contact and they always ensured any issues were dealt with in a timely manner either general enquiries or maintenance issues. They made the move in process very simple and the move out was even easier. They were very considerate with my personal space when arranging viewings for the new tenants and ensured that I was present during the check out process. Head and shoulders above any other letting agents I have used before. Thanks to the entire team.

GoogleGreat estate agents. Only ever estate agents I have never had an issue with. When I initially viewed my current flat the agents were very welcoming and helped me through the process. I would like to particular mention to Rhiannan who has always been a point of contact for us. She is very attentive and always replies quickly and is happy to deal with any queries.

FacebookNever known such an awful unprofessional agency in all the years I’ve been renting! The staff are not interested in any of the maintenance or safety inspections. Once you have the keys they don’t get back to emails and are almost impossible to speak with! Had Literally the worst few months down to them and I desperately want anyone thinking of dealing with them to strongly AVOID and use a reputable agency that will respect you and the care taken of a property especially once you’ve paid them! I hope this company soon gets taken to court and closed down !!!

GoogleHave rented with several agencies in the past and this one has really been a disgrace. Was promised that repairs would be made to a property I rented, before I signed the contract. In a year, the repairs were not fixed - just had numerous contractors saying they would appear to do repairs and never did. I lived with a bath that was falling apart and extreme water damage in the bathroom, a balcony door that did not lock and flooring that was actually falling through on the balcony. I was strung along for quite some time with no repairs made to the property. Upon leaving I requested my deposit to be returned and was told someone would be in touch about it. After almost 2 weeks, no one had bothered to contact me so i chased this myself just to be told "we're receiving quotes - we'll be in touch". No such quotes have materialised. I have asked for information on what the quotes are for - what repairs etc however yet again, I am receiving no response or update and my emails are now being ignored and not responded to. Unfortunately, this is now having to be taken further to get my own money returned to me. Absolute disgrace & a shambles. This review is a reflection on the property management, NOT the lovely and extremely helpful associates that work in the office. It's a shame the friendly faces in the office are let down by a money-grabbing and frankly, very rude team of clowns. UPDATE: 2 months since moving out and the agency and landlord are trying to claim for repairs and damages that were already there and are evident in the inventory checklist when I moved in. Haven't recieved a response from the agency in 3 weeks now. Will be getting a solicitor involved to claim back by £700 deposit. Absolute scam artists.

GoogleGreat experience renting through Rhubarb - every staff member is kind, professional, clear communication at all times. I was a tenant for 4 years and they were consistently helpful and fair. SO MUCH BETTER and so REFRESHING compared to my previous experiences of the previous 10 years. Best ever, highly recommended

GoogleI have been using Rhubarb Property as my letting agent in Birmingham since I took ownership of a property there at the start of this year. They came highly recommended by a friend who has been using them for several years. I cant speak highly enough about their level of service so far. Communication and customer service is excellent and very much appreciated. Their fees are also lower than I could find anywhere else but dont be fooled by the lower price its not reflected in the level of service. They also managed to rent my property the day the keys were handed over and have just extended it for another 6 months.
