A great surprise! :D

The general consensus over Estate Agents, and particularly in regard to Letting, isn't a very positive one. However, Josh, the estate agent at LV who helped me find my current gorgeous flat, was ever so friendly, helpful, and generous with his time. Unlike most, LV don't seem money-driven; they care about their customers, and the flats that they offer. After having awful experiences with estate agents and agencies, it was a pleasant surprise to find people who genuinely cared about my happiness. They are quick and professional, but equally hard working in both their work ethics, and their customer care. Thank you for everything.

Extremely bad service. Seven months ago I offered them my property, it was left on the market for three months, in the end they found me a tenant who refused to pay any month for six months and had to end up getting them out myself. I would not recommend this agency to landlords, I would also question the type of tenants they accept. It also seemed evident, after reading previous reviews, they prefer people within their culture, which is something I did not live up to.

Went above and beyond

My boyfriend and I were having a very stressful morning looking for properties when we walked past LV. Shaun couldn't do enough to help us, running all over the place trying to find us a property to suit us at a good price. We are delighted that after worrying for a week about failed viewings after only 30mins with LV we had found a fantastic property way above our expectations within our budget. We cannot wait to move in in a few days and cannot thank LV enough for turning our house hunt nightmare into a dream come true.

Good friendly service however need to pay attention to detail

My experience with LV property has been fairly positive. They were able to rent out my property over a month which is a little longer than I expected but still within the acceptable period. The staff I have encountered are very friendly and helpful. However during the process the agency has reduced my rental price without any communication which has caused some frustration. The mistake was corrected after a phone call although I feel this should not have happened. Overall I'm happy with their service and I hope they can manage my property well.

Long-distance property buying

We are expats living in the USA & wanted to purchase a property in the Jewellery Quarter. We chanced upon LV via an Internet search, but are extremely glad that we did. Josh Whateley of LV was very responsive & attentive, listened to what we were looking for & short-listed a number of potential properties for us to consider. Once we had made our decision, LV kept us apprised of progress (ours was a new-build), assisted us with the completion process (walk-through, photos & collection of the keys) & had a prospective tenant ready to move in as soon as the property became available. We would definitely recommend LV to anyone in a similar position to ours, looking to find a property in Birmingham & needing a knowledgeable & trusted partner to work with in the city.

Where do i start? Avoid at all costs! Made the mistake of renting a property from these guys 2 years ago. They cannot set up direct debit, they don't keep track of your monthly payments and they end up telling you that you are in arrears when in fact their accountancy system is messed up. Also, to book repairs you have to go through an endless computer list wasting almost 1 hour of precious time, instead of just making a phone call for an engineer to be send. When the engineer finally came to repair the broken item, looked clueless, said it needed a piece than i never saw him again! Every time you call LV property to ask something they are rude and patronizing on the phone. I will never recommend this company to anybody, worst letting company i have ever used.

Unprofessional. Despite having agreed a purchase, while arranging paperwork and transfers LV responses went quiet. It turns out the reason for this, re-negotiating another sale more "convenient" for LV. The decency to call, no. It seems a more convenient deal for LV is this companies priority. If you are looking for a personal and honourable service with good communication that you can rely on or basic common decency then beware.

Have to say the guys at lv have been amazing with dealing with us. We were due to move into a house and the landlord pulled out the day before we were due to sign the contract. The whole team pulled together and found us an apartment we fell in love with and got us in before the end of our months notice. We dealt with lee, Harry and George and couldn't fault any of them.

I purchased my first proproperty via LV and the service was excellent, from having our offer accepted even though we we still waiting on our official mortgage offer which had expired right through to completion. We were originally guzumped with an higher offer when purchasing via another agnency in the city, so our experience with agents wasn’t the best. Thank you for all your help! Five stars to their letting team. George and Lee rent out my property within a week! This property had been on market with another agency for 3month and only generated one viewing, I decided to give LV a try based on that many positive customer reviews on internet. They are very responsive and efficient, within a couple of days of the advertisement had gone live they had three viewings booked already. I highly recommend them!
