rushed me to pay a £230 holding fee while they did their checks. completed their checks and didn’t get back to me, I had to run them down to find out what’s going on. asking me for 12 months rent upfront like a bunch of imbeciles & now I’m struggling to get my holding deposit back from them. sending me back and forth inbetween goodlord and themsevles. I’ve raised a dispute with my bank as fraud because I’m homeless don’t have time for this crap

Worked with Aimee on a recent Conveyancing transaction, I am a Conveyancer acting for the Sellers and the Buyers Solicitors were very tricky. Working together me and Aimee eventually managed to get the matter smoothly through to completion despite having a lot of set backs. It was great to work with an Agent that is great at communication and have respect for each other throughout the transaction.

GoogleWe had a really good experience using LV Property on the sale of our townhouse in the JQ Birmingham. We dealt with a few individuals who gave great service, doing all they could to secure a good sale for us. However in particular I'd like to mention Aimee who really went above and beyond to help us move the sale towards completion when our buyers solicitors were stalling things. With the added complexity of Covid lockdown it was massively helpful to have such a friendly, attentive and proactive person on the case. The only thing holding the review back from 5 stars is the fact that we didn't quite achieve the sale price that we'd hoped. This may have been the impact of wider market conditions during Covid, but was still a little disappointing. Other than that - really great estate agents. GoogleThe rental office staff were excellent in their dealings, and the employees were truly outstanding. However, there is one issue that was not good. They were fully aware that I am a student and would leave the UK as soon as I complete my studies, they gave me a lifetime contract under the Alternative Deposit Scheme. Yet, they refused to return my deposit because the contract is a lifetime agreement.

GoogleWe chose LV Property Agents over their competition due to Jas Singh's honesty and openness from the start, particularly regarding the value of our property; other agents had quoted significantly inflated valuations, which we felt were unrealistic. Jas gave us a guaranteed price, at the upper limit of our expectations, which he not only achieved but did so within a week of marketing it! Excellent photos and a professional presentation helped secure this - other agents' photos can be substandard. The team - Jas, Sophie and Aimee - were attentive, honest, open, available and in excellent contact throughout, keeping appropriate pressure on the entire process to help everything go smoothly, which it did. GoogleWe recently bought a flat which was marketed by LV Property. A mixed experience, one colleague was very helpful, always on hand for queries and kept me up to date. Another, more senior colleague tried to bully me into committing mortgage fraud. He rang me up at least 4 times on one afternoon and put considerable pressure on me to agree to an 'under the table' cash rental agreement with the vendors, and, even worse, put pressure on me not to tell my solicitor about the arrangement. As first time buyers the whole process is stressful enough without pressure from the agent to enter into an illegal transaction. I will be making a formal complaint regarding his actions. In addition I was greatly displeased to be forced to pay the agents a 1% deposit fee in order for them to take the property of the market. Our sale took 4 months and so they sat on over £2.5k of my money for all this time. I asked for it to be returned when we exchanged contracts but LV refused and insisted I only get it back on completion.NegativeQuality, Professionalism
Dear Eloise, Thank you for your review, I have personally followed this sale from offer to completion. During the lock down many buyers and sellers we rightly concerned about the property market and I recall you wanted to ensure the property was secure and the seller wanted to the assurance that this sale would complete, the lock down period was a worrying time for all so we tried to keep all parties updated and worked hard to ensure all sales remained on track (including this one). You were offered an earlier exchange with a delayed completion date due to the lock down restrictions which you refused, the seller than offered a solution which meant you could complete sooner and move in after the lock down, which would mean the seller would stay in the property and pay you rental for the period of time required, there is absolutely nothing fraudulent about this, we actaully spent hours trying to reach an agreement which really should have been the job of your conveyancer, however we always go the extra mile to get the job done for both our buyers and sellers. The 1% commitment fee was fully refunded to you upon completion (SAME DAY) as stated in our original email which you agreed to in writing. Finally, we wish you all the best in your new apartment. GoogleI've recently completed on selling my property with LV. Having first put my my property on the market in lockdown 1.0 (great timing... Not) with a different agent, I'd received no interest in the first couple of months.i switched to LV and had 2 group block bookings within the first fortnight. The asking price was achieved and the sales process then started. Unfortunately this wasn't an easy sale, with some intricacies regarding cladding and a very "thorough" solicitor on the buyers side, everything was pointing to it falling through. LV, Aimee in particular, were fantastic. Following up on everything, chasing solicitors and brokers, keeping me informed along the way. It would have been much harder without this great service.
