5 star thus far. We first became interested in Glendevon Grange at Winchburgh in around January 2020. We had been to Robertsons Haddington development and fallen in love with the Everett Garden Room and the quality and finish of a Robertson Home. We enquired when the Winchburgh site would be released and then started the waiting game just as covid hit. Of course everything was on hold for a while so we sat tight.In early 2021 we then began pestering Kim at Calderwood, and despite Kim knowing we were more interested in Winchburgh, she couldn't have been more helpful, she kept us up to date as to when the sales executive for Winchburgh was due to start and passed on their details as soon as she possibly could. We then met the equally fabulous George, who would turn out to be the best sales executive I have ever been involved with in any part of my consumer experience to date. He had so much interest in the site he could have easily given us a whole two minutes of his time, but ever the professional that wasn't the case. He took a significant amount of time to talk us through the process of buying with Robertsons, the options available to us and the different property types he had available at release. We then joined the que that Thursday morning like everyone else to race to get our name on a plot and fortunately for us, we were one of the lucky buyers to be secure a plot. We then spent every other weekend bobbing by the site to check on progress and everytime would pop in to see George who always found time for us for as long as we wished. He kept us up to date with the build and when it came to choices, helped us make some couples decisions that could have seen disaster and at all times ensuring we were comfortable with our decisions before confirming anything (no pushy sales tactics for upgrades which I really respected).As we moved closer to completion we would be kept informed of build stage and advised that George had been in several times to view the house and snag as the build continued (that is visible to see when we moved in as George's attention to detail is superb for a man like me with OCD).On key day we were provided with the full sales hand over and demonstration and talked through the features of our house (a good number given we ended up with a lawrie grand) and from a sales point of view I cannot fault Robertsons.We are now week 3 in our fabulous new home and have site coming to address some small snags (only enough to count on your fingers the quality of finish is so good) next week.As stated 5 stars up to now, let's hope site can deliver the same level of customer service as sales.

Gillian really is a massive asset to the company

We are currently buying plot 13 at Southfield Grange, Maidenhill. Gillian has been fantastic throughout the process so far. She is extremely helpful and takes no time to answer any questions you may have even out of working hours. We can’t thank Gillian enough for her support. Even when we changed our mind about downlighters choice last minute she worked it all out to keep us happy. Whenever we have met Yasmine in the office, she has been very helpful as well. We hope this continues after we move in. We must say that Gillian really is a massive asset to the company.

Our first home at Glendevon Grange

We are quite delighted and very happy to move into our first new house at Glendevon Grange, Winchburgh and it's almost more than a month since we moved in. And it's everything we imagined for and more in terms of quality and finishings of the build. No major snagging issues found. Since beginning of our journey with Robertson Homes, a very personalised and welcoming experience for us from Sales team, especially from George. Throughout the whole process, we had received excellent five star customer service from George. He made our journey so easy by giving the rightful suggestions at the right time. His advice and assistance during standard and extras selection was exceptional. George is extremely knowledgeable and take no time to answer any questions you may have even out of working hours. We can't say thank enough to George for his patience, help and availability when needed, even now after we moved in. Hayley is also very friendly and helpful. Thanks and appreciate for the good service. The site staff are also very helpful and made wonderful experience from demo session to our handover, and even after we moved in with the snagging list fixes. Would highly recommend Robertson's Homes.

One month of our fabulous new home!

We are now only a few days short of our first month in our new Robertson home. We are over the moon with it. It is everything we were hoping for and more! From the first day we met with George at Glendevon Grange, we knew this was going to be a fantastic move for us. The whole process has been so easy, and more importantly, the house has blown us away. From stepping through the door on the day we got our keys, to entertaining our family and friends over our first Christmas and New Year, we’ve loved every minute.The build quality is far superior to any new build we’ve bought before, there has been almost no snagging, and what there has been has been so minor (we weren’t even sure whether to mention them) and has been accepted with absolutely no issues at all and most things the site team had already identified when completing their own checks and had already put things in motion to address. The house (Linton) is so spacious, well thought out and finished to a really high standard. We can’t thank George enough for his support and help during the whole process. Hayley and Fraser have also been really helpful.

WYNYARD. Do not buy a Robertson home!

Was 5 star prior to purchase. Would now be 0 stars if that was possible. DO NOT BUY!We completed the purchase of a new Robertson home in Wynyard early May 2021I don't think it is reasonable to expect any new build to be 100% problem or snag free, especially when a 3rd party home inspection company is paid (as we did) to find every fault possible.There were only a handful of "snags" and the attention these have been given by the Site Manager Terry has been excellent. He has been helpful, honest and realistic about when contractors can come back to remedy the issues, and provided a timeline.Prior to the sale, the service and communication from Kyle (the site sales person) was also brilliant, especially as we were buying remotely, and everything was conducted virtually, by phone, email and zoom.We had made Kyle aware of some poor reviews we had read about Robertson Homes, and Karen called us to reassure us in the Robertson quality and commitment, and explained the change of construction management they had on site. We trusted in Karen and Kyle, and that trust was 100% warranted.In summary;A very helpful and friendly service prior to and up to sale completion from Kyle.A quality build and finish to a high standard for all fixtures and fittings.Great post sale customer care from Site Manager Terry.The Robertson product is certainly premium, and represents great value for money.Exactly how a new home purchase should be.UPDATED NOV 30th a month from my last update.After my update a month ago, 2 Directors came to visit, very nice and polite, promised to get things moving, and within a week a plumber arrived, to take a list of everything that needed doing, and promised to come back within 2 weeks. It is now more than 4 weeks nobody returned.We have now been in the home almost 7 months, and a multitude of snagging issues have either not been addressed, or have been failed to be fixed after multiple visits. The issues include but are not limited to;Plumbing: The central heating system was incorrectly installed without the necessary "chemical" which is causing the boiler to vent constantly, and the radiators to need re pressurising every few days, or the boiler cuts off and we have no heating and no hot water. Not ideal in winter.The downstairs clock toilet not fit flush to the wall, fit at angle, seat keeps falling off and flush button sticks causing toilet to continuously fill.Upstairs toilet did not have enough water to flush anything, barely a pee, certainly not a #2. The plumber who came a month ago to "list" the problems did fix this, the flush system had been incorrectly installed at build.The hot water tank has at least one pipe that is not secure and spins around, and the safety / pressure valve attached to the pipe does not work.Windows: We have multiple with missing or broken vents. It is difficult to accept that there was a re move in walk through that did not spot this. In the summer its not an issue, but now as we come into winter, there is a cold wind blowing through the vents of multiple windows, making it impossible to keep the office and 1 other bedroom warm.ALL of 3 the open/tilt windows at the front of the house are "bowed" so there is strong "wind" blowing down both sides of all front bedroom windows between the hinges. It is impossible keep the rooms warm with a "gale" blowing through the windows. One of the gaps is so large that when it rains, water pours through the window into the bedroom.Water comes through the underside of the front door into to hall when it rains, the door isnt water tight.There are multiple painting issues still to be resolved and some of the patch work that was competed has now cracked again.The stairs crack when you walk on them, and the wall is again "breaking"The outside gutters and drain pipes are not fit correctly in multiple places, resulting in water running down the render and staining the walls.After 7 months of a broken door bell, the electrician came to fix it, and basically fudged the fitting, so it is screwed to the wall but open and unsealed around the case, so i will be paying my own electrician to remove and replace the door bell.Emails to Roberstons customer care go unanswered, and we are now at the stage we are ready to contact NHBCI understand there are MANY other homes and families with the same, similar or WORSE problems that have not been resolved after 8 or 9 months.Seems their 5 star reviews are pre move in (like my initial review) 52% of all Robertson Homes reviews are 1 star, and from people who have moved in and cannot get repairs made2022 UPDATE The promise from a senior manager that our windows would be fixed before Christmas never happened, they still let in wind and rain. Also, like MULTIPLE OTHER HOMES we now have water pouring through our ceiling due to faulty plumbing. Do not buy a Robertson Home.

We are buying a 3 year old Robertsons…

We are buying a 3 year old Robertsons house in Wynyard Woods. We are very impressed with the quality and space you get in these homes. The setting is wonderful and we move in on Wednesday July 31st. Just can't wait. Dawn in the sales cabin has been so wonderful and helpful. I also visited Burnopfield and Lionfields at the suggestion of Dawn, and Marie and Maxine were also lovely. Cant fault the staff or the quality of homes offered.

We are receiving a 5 star service from a 5 star builder

Our Robertson journey to date has been superb. It started with a phone call to Linda who invited us to visit the show house at the Bearsden site back in 2020. During the call she said she was sure Robertson Homes would have a home for us and it does. Linda has been professional from the very beginning. It’s the little things which make such a difference such as coming out to greet us when we arrived on site, keeping us informed at every stage of the journey so far, offering helpful advice when we were just not sure about some of our choices, always responding to an email or a phone call, I could go on….. Moving home can be very stressful. However, we are so glad we have Linda to help us with this journey. In addition, the site manager, Luke has spent time with us and has also been very informative and helpful. We are sure as we get closer to our completion date we will have more contact with Luke. Our move in date is scheduled for the Spring of 2022 we are so looking forward to moving in. The new video of our house is superb and has given us some new ideas of how we want to furnish our new home. Robertson Homes is so lucky to have someone like Linda on its team. Thank you.

Positive first home journey!

We just moved into our first home yesterday and our journey thus far has been very positive! Liz has helped us during every stage of our build, clarifying everything when we were unsure. She made the house building process seem very quick as she kept in touch with us every week so we knew what was happening and what we needed to do at each stage. Additionally, I was constantly emailing/phoning Liz to clarify things or ask questions and never once was I made to feel like I was being a hindrance. She was always positive and happy to help.We are absolutely delighted with the house and the way we have been treated by both Liz and all of the site team, especially the site manager Malcolm. Malcolm has helped us in so many ways around the house and been extremely accommodating to all of our needs.Thank you Liz, Malcolm and the rest of the Robertson’s team!

Brilliant experience so far with Robertson Homes!

We never intended on buying a new build after poor experiences at initial stages with other builders. However, as soon as we walked into the Everett Grand showhome, in a different development, we knew right away this was our perfect home. The build specification, layout, space and the incredible Garden Room just blew us away. We did an early bird reservation for a very specific plot so it’s been a long wait (plus the pandemic effect) but we know it will be worth it. Fraser was our initial sales advisor and he was excellent from the start, really personable, no hard sell and very responsive. He was brilliant during the Easy Move stage and made the process so much easier. We have since had Diane as our sales advisor and she has been absolutely lovely. Really helping during the choices stage, talking us through options, taking away queries and coming back to us almost immediately. Diane was also really helpful when we had a couple of last minute upgrade requests, nothing has been too much trouble and Diane shows genuine passion for the product (as has everyone we have come into contact with at Robertson) she has shown genuine care and excitement for us and even arranged 2 showhome visits at Winchburgh so that we could show our mums our new house type. We absolutely cannot wait to move into our new home and we thoroughly recommend Robertson to anyone.

We just picked up the keys for our new home yesterday and are delighted with it and with everyone we have dealt with at Robertson Homes, particularly Diane.Never having bought a new build, we thought it would be really daunting with so many decisions/options to make at the same time, but the whole process was seamless and smooth sailing and ... enjoyable (something I never thought I'd say!). Diane kept us informed every step of the way and guided us through, she is so knowledgeable about the product and available options and genuinely caring to ensure that we understood and were happy with everything. She replied promptly and professionally to any questions (even on her days off) and made it obvious that nothing was too much trouble, always cheerful and friendly. She was invaluable when we were choosing options giving her opinion on colour choices etc which we were grateful for. She was just a pleasure to deal with and made the experience enjoyable and made us feel special.We initially dealt with Fraser at the reservation stage and he couldn't have been more helpful - thank you for all you did for us Fraser. Like Diane he is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional.Thanks also to the site manager Andrew and to Dean.We had never heard of Robertson Homes until we started looking at new builds, but quickly realised that they offer a quality product and we love their signature garden room. The quality of the fittings is on a par with Cala. Our completion window was from November - end of January, so were very pleasantly surprised to learn that the house was ready to hand over before mid-December! We hadn't expected this particularly given the current difficulties in getting building materials etc.There will be snagging issues of course as with any new build, but based on our experience from the start we are confident that these will be dealt with promptly and professionally.Thanks so much Diane.

Glendevon Grange Winchburgh

Our family has decided we need to move home as we have outgrown our current property. We were initially put off a new build due to the lack of space as we had viewed all of the show homes from all of the different developers in Winchburgh and we always felt we were compromising on space, especially in the bedrooms.When Robertson Homes at Glendevon Grange opened the new show homes my wife arranged a meeting with George. From our initial conversation we were made to feel really welcome, even when we explained we had no intention of buying. George was still very professional and kind and we were really impressed by his customer service. He spent a lot of time with us going over the different home layouts, what was included as standard and the benefits of purchasing a new home. He has changed our perception of new build homes, we were blown away by how many bathrooms Robertson include in there homes and we now desperately want to book your last Leonardo Garden Room Plot 28 on the development. We have since done a lot of research on other builders and really feel Robertson Homes are in a class of there own.

5 Star Service of Diane

Me and partner just reserved a Robertson Homes property as our marriage home at Jackton Glasgow. We'd like to thank Diane who is the sales of the development, she's the nicest and the most professional housing sales we've ever met. Because of we are foreign cash buyers so it could be difficult for us to transfer the money internationally in terms of complex legal prove processes and money transfer processes，but Diane was so patient to us and really helping us went through things smoothly. Now, we have solutions and start to proceed everything gradually, so I'd like to thank again Diane for thinking for us and coordinating things between us, Robertson Homes, and solicitors. We wouldn't purchase the property if it wasn't for her. We are greatful and we would recommend her to other people.

Extremely Poor Customer Service, Better talking to a brick wall!I wish I could give zero stars. My experience with Robertsons has been nothing short of a nightmare. Initially, they seemed attentive & professional, but once they had our money, everything changed.From the moment the payment was processed, their customer service went from bad to non-existent. Calls and emails go unanswered for weeks, and when they do respond, it's with vague and unhelpful information (Computer says no) Every time I've had an issue or concern, it feels like I'm pulling teeth to get any kind of resolution to the point I now don’t waste my time contacting them.Their lack of communication and disregard for customer satisfaction is appalling. It's clear that once they've secured your money, they couldn't care less about delivering on their promises or ensuring a positive experience. I would strongly advise anyone considering a Robertson Home to think twice and look elsewhere. Save yourself the headache and frustration.

During the process of buying our dream house, Gillian and the team across Southfield Grange and Glenburn Manor have been excellent. Initially with viewings of the showhome at Glenburn Manor and more latterly at Newton Mearns, Gillian has shown she is very knowledgeable about the development and each house type.We also had a really good experience with our selection meetings and found great value in our appointment selecting the kitchen.The Robertson team have been great with keeping in contact to keep us updated on our build during these very difficult times in the industry. Fantastic Experience 10/10

My wife and I decided that we wanted to move closer to our families with all that has gone on over the past year.We looked at a few sites and decided to look into Calderwood in East Calder. After looking at all the available house builders we decided to arrange a meeting with Kim at Robertson homes. We really felt that Robertson Homes looked a class above the rest.Kim really took the time to get to know exactly what we were looking for and after our meeting we decided on our new home. I thought that Kim came across as very professional and really made us feel confident that we had made the right choice. A few weeks later we were introduced to Greig the site manager who went over everything and again made us feel even more confident we had made the right choice with Robertson Homes. Running a business myself I understand the importance of customer service and Kim and Greig were both very professional in dealing with our every need. Kim and Grieg kept us updated all the way through the house build sending pictures and letting us know how things were going which we really appreciated.We have now moved into our beautiful new home and it is even more stunning than we could ever imagined. We have honestly had the best experience all the way through the process and cannot recommend Robertson Homes highly enough. Thank You The Baxters
