We did assist you in finding a property 6 months ago, we conducted the viewing and presented your offer to the sellers, who eventually decided to proceed with another buyer's offer. This was their decision to make and not ours as an estate agent. We accept that this it was upsetting for you but it was unfortunately out of our control.

We have now exchanged and will soon be off to our new home.
It has been a tough decision to leave my detached house after over 30 years, but I always said if I did I wanted a flat overlooking the sea, and that is what I will have.

I chose Burgess initially as they were the Agents when I bought my current home. They proved to be an excellent choice. My flat was only viewed for one day before it was sold. The sales process has been very complicated (NOT the fault of Burgess) and all at Burgess have been very kind and helpful throughout. I have to single out Ben Davey though as he chased solicitors on my behalf constantly. I have no knowledge of the legal ins and outs and he guided me through everything, explaining without being patronising and making me feel that I was kept in the loop at all times. I can't praise Burgess highly enough and would thoroughly recommend them.
