Helped to fulfil dream despite distance and Covid !

We have purchased a property from a client of Burgess and co and found them to be terrific. This has been done over miles (we’re moving from some distance), and during Covid hence, achieving this excellent standard of customer care is all the more remarkable. Key points they read and act on emails even when it strictly not their job. Ring back promptly and delegate to colleagues when out of office, pleasant and reassuring. Key point if you are selling, we a canny pair, offered and paid full asking price after 20 min visit, based a lot on on-line presentation.

Burgess & Co were the estate agents for the property that I was buying....they were hands down, the only reason why I exchanged when I did following a long chain with problematic solicitors higher up the chain. In what was an incredibly frustrating and stressful time, Siobhan at Burgess and Co worked consistently hard to get the result everyone desperately wanted in the lead up to Christmas....a house sale/purchase that had been going on since August! We bought a house through Burgess & Co but unfortunately it was a deceased estate where Probate had not been lodged. The Team collectively did all in their power to accommodate all our requests for 2nd and even a 3rd visit. They also assisted greatly to get the process completed so we could have the advantage of the 'stamp duty holiday'. I used this agent while purchasing a property in Bexhill and can’t rate them highly enough. We had a few hiccups with the solicitor but Tina and Siobhan did more than expected to sort out any problems. I could not have managed to get through the difficulties if they had not been so helpful.
