Simon pulled out all the stops to find us the house that fitted our wish list - just when we started to think that such a house didn't exist! Sam worked tirelessly throughout the sale and purchase process to ensure that everything happened - and this was no easy feat. Simon, Sam and all the Castles team are committed, customer focussed, caring, always return telephone calls, genuine, honest and go the extra mile as standard. We cannot recommend them highly enough. If I were to move again, I would not even consider using another estate agent. Thanks to all at Castles for their considerable help.

GoogleWe have been registered with this estate agent for the past 6 months and have found in our experience the staff to be pushy in their approach, properties are constantly over priced compared to the market average for the area (and they rarely reduce prices). Have found staff very persistent and overzealous with calling my personal phone, often repeatedly one day after the other (not sure if they aren't tracking this properly on their system), with unsuitable properties. Properties recommended again and again which are far out of budget e.g. £570-600k+ when our stated budget was around the maximum £500k mark, are 2 bedroom houses/flats when we said a minimum of 3+ houses or are in areas we previously stated are not of interest. Don't feel like they genuinely care with their approach, which is less tailored and personal and more 'spamming' clients with whatever they have available, no matter their previously expressed wishes. Disappointed with this estate agent, especially compared to others in the local area (Berkhamstead, Tring etc).

GoogleCastles were adequate at arranging viewings for the house when it went on the market but did little to support progression of the sale once it was agreed. I had to do the majority of chasing myself to keep momentum of the process. Sadly no improvement on my experiences of other estate agents from many years ago.
