Jonathan from GOC provided an excellent professional service with a very good attention to detail, listens to the landlord and applies what they ask for. Extremely good knowledge of the local areas and market trends. Flat was rented out within 2 weeks of advertisement. Definitely highly recommended.

Google*RENTERS BEWARE* these guys are absolute con artists who will try to get money out of you at any given opportunity. They charge a £30 ‘admin fee’ for a reference and then try to charge a £75 ‘check out fee’ upon vacating a property. When questioned about what this fee was for they claimed it was for them to go to the property and conduct the final check out inspection, which is already their job to do so, yet they tried to deduct it from my deposit. Upon contacting housing rights they advised me to dispute this with TDS as it is an illegal fee. After starting the dispute with TDS, GOC swiftly called me to tell me the fee would be waived on this occasion if I dropped the dispute. To anyone renting, it you are unsure always question what exactly these ‘fees’ are for and contact housing rights to check if they can charge them. Chances are they are just trying to make a bit of extra profit thinking no one will challenge them about it!

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide letters for free to any client, there is a time element involved for us to produce this for you, much the same as a solicitor or doctor wouldn’t write a letter for free either. It’s something you can keep on file and use in the future anytime you move. The checkout administration is currently under internal review.

I knew from my first meeting with Kirby that GOC were the company to use, she was friendly, professional, personable, knowledgeable and I could see how passionate she was about her job. I felt as though I had known her for years. The communication throughout the process was outstanding, regular emails and calls from Kirby and Jonathan with updates.
