They do a bare minimum so we ended up without a flat

I would give 0 stars if i could. We dealt with Stratford agency. Let me explain the situation. We found a flat to buy and unfortunately, the agency that published it was Bairstow eves.The first bad sign was that we waited for a man who should've shown us a property for 15 minutes (his name is Vasco Correia, just so you know the heroes by names) and after 3 calls to their call centre we were told to try to call the apartment number as he's already there. We've called a few times - failed. We managed to enter the building and get to the flat after a while. When Vasco opened the door we complained about the situation and that we'd been waiting for 20+ minutes to which he replied "so what? are you going to see the flat or not?". We were pissed with the attitude and the situation but had a look on a flat. We liked the flat so much and decided to make an offer (hadn't trusted our guts, unfortunately).The process took 6 months, each time we had to call them ourselves because otherwise, we didn't receive any updates from them and the seller. Our sales progression was Ellie Lynch (well, I would call her sales REgression). Every time she and her colleagues told us that they were doing their best but if it was true we wouldn't ended up being homeless. We've been telling her that our tenancy contract will end at the end of October since August and she didn't tell us that we should prolong it as the seller is looking for a new home herself and won't move out until she buys it. So we trusted them and ended up without a flat with all our stuff.I hate the day we've decided to proceed with this agency and the flat they listed. Hope everyone who's uncertain to work or not to work with Bairstow eves will choose not to work but to save their mental health and their money.

I have complete trust in Dee - she phones when she says she's going to phone, chases solicitors to hurry up, and is just a great communicator. Definitely find a better estate agent

A few weeks ago I received a telephone call from a young member of staff at Bairstow Eves. He asked me if I was interested in selling my property. I told him no. I had bought it through them funnily enough and had just spent four months renovating it. He suggested I have a valuation despite my saying I didn’t want to sell. Eventually I agreed because I thought it would be good to see what it was worth now it had been renovated. Two text messages and a long and detailed email confirming that the manager was looking forward to meeting me at my property later that week at 12:30. She didn’t turn up and when I telephoned, I was informed that it was a desktop valuation, despite the fact that I had a an email telling me the valuation would be at my property. Having dealt with them when I bought the property and having them not bothering to respond to my email to express my dissatisfaction that they hadn’t bothered to come and do the valuation, I would never ever deal with them again. I think they are a shabby organisation and there are much better estate agents to deal with.

Have used this Estate Agent to sell my previous house and they sold it within 2 weeks. Now using Alex and the team again!!! Alex came to give me a valuation and I placed the house with Bairstow Eaves, within 15 mins he had done the floor plan and written the house description ready for Rightmove - AMAZING. Alex negotiated my sale smoothly as I had more than one offer so took all the stress away from me. Even though I wasnt purchasing my next property through them they were more than happy to advise me on negotiating to acquire it at the right price. Mellissa is absolutely brilliant. I am running my own relocation agency for overseas family to settle in the UK. One of my clients is from Hong Kong. She is very knwoledagble with the situation and knows all required documents. She is also very responsive to enquires, even not office hours. She also goes for extra miles to help. Brilliant experience dealing with Bairstoweves and Callum Polack (Lettings Negotiator) in particular; he really went above and beyond in helping me choose the right property for me as well answering all the millions of questions I had as I’m a first time renter. This is the second house i've attempted to buy during lockdown, my first experience was with another local estate agents in beeston and was poor. In contrast, when I first spoke to Dee Lake from Bairstow Eves's in Beeston I could tell this would be a good experience. Even though I am the buyer, I feel like I'm the one that hired Dee. Dee Lake has been our point of contact with Bairstow Eves in Beeston over the past nine months. Due to Covid and supply issues, estimates for completing our new-build bungalow drifted from five months through six and then eight and finally nine month. The party buying our existing property had a number of issues with respect to mortgage, deposit and the ever moving completion date. Throughout all this, Dee has somehow been able to make sense of the loop between ourselves and my solicitor, the builders and their legal team and the buyer and his legal representative and keep up updated. We met Mellissa at a house viewing for a rental we ended up not getting. She managed to then get us into another viewing for a house that we liked but was initially full (a lucky-for-us cancellation) and helped us transfer our application across and sort all the forms so we didn't have to fill in everything again.
