Nikita and Fiona were fab. But never before have I seen a company treat their tenants like this. Multiple things they promised would be done before we moved in were not - and when we called them out on this at the end of the tenancy, they said it was not true and out of their hands, which we know is false as we have video evidence of them saying this. As you can see by the replies to the negative reviews, they still aren’t treating us nicely. We could not use our shower for a week as it brought up old sewage and was clogged. They took their time sending the right person round (3 people I believe, and they knew exactly what the issue was as it was the same with the previous tenant). Claiming we damaged the brand new hob which was really just what happens after a year of using a cheap hob.

Replying to Remzi’s reply to my review because I knew it would be unfavourable and try to gaslight my experience. You could have replied privately and asked me to remove the review and refund the £150 you took, which we have email proof that we DID refute as well standing in your office while you hid at the back, with THREE women as witness, one of whom joined in with you and both of you said that you were within your right to take the money and eventually I said I’m not going to squabble over £150 because quite frankly it was embarrassing. However, someone has moved in and are using the hob and haven’t replaced it. No wonder you can’t provide a receipt! 1) It is not down to tenants to pay for the refurbishment of a landlords property, I’m a landlord myself and I wouldn’t dream of upping rent because of wear and tear. This is something I have raised with the local MP. And yet there’s more… 2) We were CONTINUOUSLY locked out with a faulty door and a faulty key. This was not a one-off occasion that you happened to come to the rescue of by the time we ‘miraculously’ gained entry. This happened for the first 3 months and even when the ‘bespoke - you’ve never seen a door like this- door was fitted, a key snapped off and broke and this door needed to be fixed. 3) Incorrect, it wasn’t the ‘landlord’ I spoke to, it was yourself who threatened for me to leave the property during a conversation as a tactic for me to stop complaining. When I said I’d consider it, because I have dealt with bullying tactics before, you told us to hold off and fixed the situation. I never once rescinded on it. Again I have email proof. 4) Despite knowing the property had blockage issues raised by the previous tenant, it took three different tradespeople to attend before they sent a drainage company. 5) Yes issue were dealt with promptly, I didn’t dispute that. But there were lots of them. 6) I cannot bear it when people outright lie about situations or deny responsibility. If you had provided good customer service and been apologetic or even empathetic instead of defensive, but you chose to act the way you did. That is my experience of you and your company as a landlord and agency.

Lovely experience purchasing my flat from this agency. I got to view on my own instead of an open house day which was wonderful and Debbie was very patient with all my questions and reverted very quickly with the answers. When I was ready to move, Red was realistic about the current state of the market for his valuation, and Gilda always kept me updated on viewings. I had previously heard very good things about The Address and so, when looking to move, invited them, together with a number of other agents, round to introduce themselves. From the outset I was impressed with their friendly but professional approach and had no hesitation in choosing them. Thereafter, despite a dip in the market, I always felt that they were working hard for me, and we eventually sold the house. Not a great experience as a tenant. The one star is solely for the assistance of Nikita and Fiona. Co-owner Remzi has a lot to learn about customer service. Alongside the myriad of issues we had while renting one of their properties, (raw sewerage, consistently being locked out of the property, being threatened to leave as a solution to fixing issues), they kept money back from our deposit for an oven they claimed was damaged and needed replaced, we have photographic proof they didn't replace it. But we consider moving out and the loss of money a lucky escape! I'm aware The Address can reply to these, so be assured whatever they say is another example of their gaslighting. Sigh.
