We have been dealing with Wendy at the Heswall branch. The sale has been very stressful but Wendy has been fantatsic and kept intouch to let us know what was going on throughout, she was happy to answer any questions we had and was so lovely to deal with!

Very rude clueless staff, cannot even get to speak to a director to complain, emails to him are passed off to a very rude young lady, who is clueless. Stay clear at all costs!!!!!

FacebookAvoid. Nightmare experience. We were potential buyers. Sale and price agreed, then it turned out (as a result of our survey) there was a massive problem with the gas fire connections and the flue. KT admitted the vendor had told them about this, but they never passed this info on to us. We ended up walking away and losing a packet on conveyancing fees due to KT's incompetence. They even had the temerity, after we had stalled and said the seller would need to take some money off the price due to the defect, to phone us up and say "will you increase your offer? Because you've gone cold, they've now had other offers."

Karl Tatler was amazing - I dealt personally with Melvyn Hamid who is based in Prenton. He was amazing, so professional and would always be in constant contact updating us with where they were up too, and our house was sold within a week of being on the market!! Would definitely recommend!

I have recently tried to sell a proper with Karl Tatler (Prenton) And have years of experience selling my properties and never come across a company who live on there passed success as much as Karl Tatler. They were the most expensive over 1k more than the nearest competitor. I had seven viewing of which one was a no show however KT kept it on their figures as a viewing, They attended two of the viewing and were late to both. The EPC cert I believed was covered in the price however they informed me it was an extra charge and they had put an extra £40 on the price. (Please beware you can sort your own EPC cert. On line for around £50. This is what I did. The house took 9 months before falling through when asking them for updates or information we received little to none, being told constantly there was just one more form for the buyer to sign. I believe they have forgot who they work for. Extremely disappointed and would put anyone I know off going through this experience.

Overall i was pleased with my experience. At the start i was given a realistic sales price which was achieved in good time. The staff were always friendly and efficient. My only reservation would be down to communication issues. Often i did not get replies to messages i had left. When i raised this with Sue ( manageress ) she assured me that i could always contact her directly. She was true to her word so a big plus and a thank you for that.

Nothing but excellent service from Karl Tatler Greasby! I haven't used them before but the initial and ongoing discussion and explanation both on telephone and on email throughout selling and buying our property was just super! The team do really go above and beyond, to detail each answers extensively and covers everything, they reply so promptly and really do listen. When I asked them questions they explained it in details each time - thank you especially to Jess and Lydia!

Put my house up for sale with Karl Tatler as they were 'supposed' to be the best agent to sell with. Our personal experience was very poor customer service throughout & a severe lack of feedback. It was as though we were lucky to be with them & not the other way around. Constant phone calls from us trying to get updates. Feedback from viewers was they had difficulty securing a viewing ! I would never use Karl Tatler again as I feel they are existing off their previous reputation. We sold our house immediately after moving to another estate agent who gave a brilliant service.

FacebookSo far so good! Really impressed with the service, got some fantastic shots of the house and got it all up and live on social media and websites within 24 hours! Quick, efficient and really friendly. Special mention for Jamie having to put up with all my emails and summer house lighting obsession! Let’s hope the next phase goes as smoothly and we get a sale quickly!

Initial meeting was okay - the woman was upbeat, affable and viewing the house went well. Everything thereafter was a battle, a chase, hard work, unsatisfactory, tiring and a bad experience. In the 12 month rental, my personal view is that Karl Tatler, although they bleet about being award winners (back in 2015 and 2016) they amount to little more than subtle bullies. They have little wisdom as to 'value' toward both landlord and tenant - they take on landlords/landladies who have not been vetted properly ... They do not fully understand or abide by Letting & Management Law. I will not use them ever again. My experience of renting a house through their agency was awful (and they bullied me), well, they tried to. Avoid these if you can. They may look all polished and top drawer but there are holes.
