I have found Rasberry Letting to be very helpful. Always quick to respond to any queries. I would recommend to anyone. **Edit** After vacating the property I now have a very different view of Raspberry Lettings. Not only have they completely overcharged me for a few scuff marks, they are completely ignoring my calls and emails. I moved out of the property on 15th May 2019, and I am yet to receive and of my bond or gym deposit back. Absolute disgrace of a company, who are quick enough to take their rent, but can’t return what is rightfully yours!! Avoid at all costs!!!

Be incredibly careful when dealing with this company; following what others have stated about their conduct towards deposit returns this can be clarified as they’re incredibly difficult to deal with, first and foremost in contacting them, they ignore your emails and don’t return calls, give you a written and signed tenancy agreement but only follow this when it benefits them and finally their idea of “customer service” is quite frankly appalling! Not to mention the fact that when you ask for things repairing when you haven’t caused the damage they never come to fix them and I’m sure will have charged the previous tenants for them also! Be careful.

Do not use Raspberry Lettings, our tenancy ended on in December 2018 and they are still withelding both of our deposits for our flat (£625) and the gym (£300) with no reason other than “we’ll follow it up with accounts”. It’s obvious they do not have an accounts team and they will ignore your phone calls, emails and lie to you about when your deposit is going to be returned. We are now in the process of seeking legal action as it’s gone past the 3 month period in which the deposit protection scheme could help us. It’s disgusting and incredibly disappointing from a company that “prides themselves in customer care” and “aims to ensure the entire rental process is as quick and easy as possible”.

I lived in the mills for 8 years in…

I lived in the mills for 8 years in various flats over the years, i cant recommend the place enough. The Binks family are fantastic, the flats are amazing so close to all local and motorway routes, the facilities are maintained to the highest standard by the two on site engineers and cleaned to an immaculate standard. If you are looking for somewhere to live this is the place for you without question

Everyone said I wouldn’t get any deposit back and I did so I’m happy

I will write this review as a past tenant as I’m not moved out and just got £500 of my £700 deposit back which I’m very happy with as ive been told to not expect my deposit back by people who live there or lived there previously. No complaints for raspberry letting personally just some things are annoying in regards to living in an apartment but that’s just my personal preference

Do not rent from this company

Do not rent from this company, they have been known to write fake reviews to improve their rating. There’s even been Facebook pages set up to highlight the zero professionalism shown by this company. Family run business by people who have zero empathy or experience in how to deal with tenants from unprofessional emails to ignoring requests for deposits unless to go through the legal route. Avoid at all costs

Just left after 5 years of living here in three different apartments and I cannot fault the professionalism of the management team and the two handymen. I I had a problem which was very rare it would be fixed the same day. Loved the facilities of the gym and the pool second to none. Sorry to be leaving and that's only because we have bought a property .Highly recommend this place to live ...

Thank you very much for your comments I was going to rent an apartment here but I am very special with noises and reading your comments this place is not for me...apparently the walls are very thin and is very easy to ear the neighbours. Moved out of blakeridge mills on 18th August asked for my bond back since leaving no reply to emails or texts and not answering any phns and now someone living in the property so getting money off ppl and not giving bonds back is not professional at all left messages on phone stil no one as got bak to me absolutely disgusting place wouldn't recommend anyone to live thereNegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

Would not go anywhere near Raspberry lettings, You might as well write off your deposit from day one as they will find absolutely anything for them to claim back as much as possible. Claiming things were done by ourselves when they were like that when we moved in. Cant stress enough!! Stay Away!

Worst company I have ever had the displeasure of coming across. We moved out of The Pavilion in October 2019 and had nothing but lies and stress trying to get our deposit back. The amount of lies told was unbelievable. “The accountant is at a nativity play” (even though the “accountant” is just one of the sisters)

After being a tenant for 2 years refusing to return deposit. Been waiting since 6 Oct and after numerous chasing emails and phone calls to be told every time it is with the accounts department. This is unacceptable and now having to pursue through deposit scheme and court to get it back. No reasons given as to why it would be withheld. I would avoid them as it is not right for landlords to do this.

If you don't want to lose your deposit then don't bother with these people. Entirely unprofessional and unresponsive and had to get a legal team involved to get the money back. Even managed to get compensation due to their complete incompetency, so what does that tell you?! Take note that 5 star reviews are written by current tenants. DO NOT RENT! We were told our property was left in perfect condition and full bond would be returned no problems. But this has not happened and we are now having to take legal action to get our bond back. Completely unprofessional and they are now not responding to any attempt to contact them. Another deposit issue, another set of lies from Raspberry Lettings... Like similar reviews I too am having extreme difficulty in receiving my bond, despite this being agreed months ago. Despite dozens of emails and calls I am still making no progress and am constantly promised calls back or that my payment has been processed. Highly unprofessional company who ignore their customers and tell lies about payments being made when they haven't.

I've recently moved out of Blakeridge Mills, I've had no problem getting either my deposit or gym money back. Raspberry lettings have always been good with communications and maintenance always on hand, I found f them very helpful. You do get a little bit of noise in the sportments but that's just the nature of what they are. The gym and pool facilities are good always clean and generally quietPositiveProfessionalism

Be careful - like many others have said here, they do not return your deposit forcing you to action through the courts and deposit protection service. No explanation is provided and communication is poor. Nice flat but be prepared for a painful, and protracted end to your tenancy. I would look elsewhere - the agent's conduct is unacceptable and this has been, by far, the worst experience of renting I have ever had.

The worst place ever. Please avoid this place. People steal your parcels, trying your door to break in. The management didn't did anything about it. And lift will be very often broke. Argue and delay with you when they need to give you the deposit back.

This company is disgusting they are doing absolutely everthing to tarnish there reputation. you will not get your deposit back. i have tried for month they ignore every method of communication. the apartment was left perfect. they out us in a financial situation. why they are prepared to tarnish there reputation by keeping money that isnt theirs to keep is disgusting. just read the google reviews. There’s nothing I can say which hasn’t already been said. I just want to reiterate that the management team consists of dishonest, money grabbing people. It took us months to get our deposit back, and only once we’d sent a formal letter threatening legal action. Save yourself some stress and rent elsewhere.
