I have recently moved into the apartments at Blakeridge mills. The apartments are decorated to a great standard throughout. The Raspberry Lettings team have been a pleasure to deal with, Harriet was very helpful all the way through with all my enquiries. 5 Stars!

Apartments are stunning! Moved in during lockdown and even this was easy and efficient. Maintenance team and management are fab, (to even sorting a new oven bulb light for me). Very happy since moving, really has to be seen to be appreciated. Thanks to Harriet and co!

Horrid horrid people. I was only here 5 months and despise the women who run this place. Very unprofessional!! Waited 20 days for my deposit to be returned after emailing basically every day since we moved out. I am a paralegal so know this process so threatened legal action and got my deposit back within hours of sending the email. They continued to ignore my emails so this was the only route to take. The flats are big and look nice but not homely at all. They are freezing in the winter and expensive to run because of the crap electric heaters. They are unbearably hot in the summer too. So if you want your deposit to be unreasonably withheld by crooks this is the place to be apparently.

Recent ex tenant here. There's nothing more I can say that hasn't already been said. STAY AWAY. Save yourself the headache. Everything that is said is true....I've never come across such foul people. How they haven't been exposed in the papers for their horrible attitude and treatment of their tenants surprises me. Only a matter of time before the media pick up on their dodgy ways. Apparently the rent is now being bumped up again. £550 just 12 months ago. Now £715 apparently for a one bed apartment. Diabolical!

Worst company I have ever had the displeasure of coming across. We moved out of The Pavilion in October 2019 and had nothing but lies and stress trying to get our deposit back. The amount of lies told was unbelievable. “The accountant is at a nativity play” (even though the “accountant” is just one of the sisters) It took us over 2 months of daily emails, calls and visits to the office to get this returned. One visit I was told it would be with us the following day and when it wasn’t I went back to be told they didn’t know who I was and that they’d never seen me before! Avoid this company at all costs!!! (Wouldn’t allow me to go past 12 months on the the review date)

GoogleI left the property (Blakeridge Mill) 2 months ago and Was told it will take 10 working days to get my deposit back but they are still holding it and don’t offer any explanation what so ever. all they say is they will chase with accounts but its been 2 months now. Absolutely disgusted with Blakeridge mill managemant & Raspberry Lettings

GoogleAVOID AT ALL COSTS I rented a two bed flat for approx. 6 months last year. It has taken another 6 months for them to return my deposit, only after I went through TDA and the threat of legal action. No reason was given for withholding the deposit and tried over a hundred times to get in touch via phone, email and face to face. Greedy, nasty and spiteful women. Avoid at all costs.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. They tried to keep my money and ignored my emails. They only returned it when I raised a small claims dispute. Even then they extended the deadline and paid me on the last possible date despite asking for my bank details a couple of days after I raised the claim. When they did pay me they tried to get away with paying me less than they owed.

GoogleA quick review based on my own experience. I lived in Jubilee Mill (1st floor) between November 2020 & September 2021. Personally my stay was perfect. Right from day dot I had a great relationship with the staff at raspberry lettings. They were really responsive to a couple of queries I had early on and the maintenance staff were fast to clear up a few bits. I had access to the leisure suite, which although was restricted due to covid at points of my stay, was brilliant, especially for swimming with my little boy. I've read many posts about issues, but me personally not has a single one. I vacated the property 2nd September 21, and received my deposit back 7th September 21. Parking could be a bit messy when the weather was wet, but as I understand, work is undergoing in the coming weeks and months to sort the carpark. Verdict from me, I met some great people at the apartments, had nice experience, felt cosy and generally a nice place to be, albeit in Batley - for the price, I personally couldn't beat it 🤷🏻♂️

Avoid!! Recently moved out of here after only 3 months as it was hell on earth! Harriet and Hannah are just interested in the rent and nothing else the flat had no heating for the time i was there no wifi signal at all depsite BTs best efforts and a tiny kitchen that wasnt even useable no dishwasher and no draining board on the sink?!?! These flats were designed purely for looking good in adverts and making greedy profits the average rents in Batley are nearly £200 less than what they charge here! Also there was a lot of dodgy illegal looking building work going on whilst i was there including unsafe scaffolding blocking the main entrance so food deliverys cant come in ( nightmare getting any post or parcels for the same reason) harriet seems to have taken a dislike to her tenants eating so the local supermarkets wont even deliver now as they cant come in! Also Harriet sends out promo emails offering free gym membership for a five star review so the others are clearly fake if you do want to rent from them after all this i urge you to join the facebook group and ask current tenants any questions you may have as the pictures harriet shows are fake and she tells any lie she can to get you to sign a costly (somewhat illegal) tenancy agreement

GoogleMoved out on 03/10/2020. Had to chase deposit as they failed to give confirmation they had inspected it or inform of when deposit would be returned. Then the fun begins....10 days later had to chase deposit and still not returned. Now they have decided not to respond to emails. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY if you like to deal with professional companies. TDS has given them until 09/11/2020 to respond but I think I’ll take this to local MP sooner.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

Got my deposit back this morning no problem at all! I only left due to circumstances out of my control and would move back in a heartbeat! GoogleWhen we lived at Blakeridge Mill Raspberry Lettings were great, they looked after us when we had problem neighbours etc. We moved out on the 12th August and have had zero contact from them, they owe us money from the gym and our rent bond. It is so disappointing to receive this service. They ignore emails and calls, the service when you move out is a shambles. GoogleWe read the reviews on here before renting and thought they can't be true so foolishly decided to enter a 12 month contract. Honestly, I beg you to reconsider renting here, unless you want to enjoy the pleasure of enough hot water for one shower a day, a dirty car, rubbish internet, among many, many other issues, please do reconsider. Don't expect to receive your deposit back without entering a legal battle either, please consider looking into the 'Blakeridge & Sugar Mill Apartments' page on Facebook for a better picture from both current and previous tenants before you even consider renting here!NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleMoved in a few months ago, I absolutely love it. The onsite team are great and very supportive, the apartment itself is lovely (and I find it very cozy and not cold or damp at all) The facilities are excellent and the whole site is well maintained. I would highly recommend :-)

GoogleI read a lot of bad reviews about Raspberry Lettings, when I came to live in Blakeridge Mill. So I thought it could bring me additional problems...but finally I can say that I didn't had problems at all. Harriet Hunter and Hannah Binks helped to solve everything, and I usually get quick response from them. Hannah helped to solve all issues with bills and council taxes, I am foreign, so during tenancy I had a lot of questions, because I have never pay bills and council taxes before. I lived in Blakeridge Mill 8 months. Two my friends still live here and they also are happy. I read that some people had issues with refund bond after tenancy period, but I received full bond in 11 days after leave the apartment, and I didn't need to call to company ask about that. Of course I left apartment in same condition that I found it 8 months ago. Thank you!PositiveProfessionalism
