Unfortunately there is no minus star rating. It will take for ever to list everything that went wrong. It started very promising with the sale of our property but the conveyancing side went from bad to worse. It took six months to complete.

Small enough to care…

Sold my house through Property Explorer. Honest with their Valuation. The price options are fair and offer a range of options that should suit everyone. Kevin and Anna are great. Loads of energy, but not pushy. Friendly and down to earth but professional and knowledgeable. They are caring, and honest. They provided a Showing service and were always punctual and available. A small company compared to some, but local and big enough to offer all services, with backup when needed. Would recommend.

What a pleasure. From start to finish. First we had the viewing with Anna, who promised she will find us something, and she DID.. Thank you. We loved their service so much, we decided to take our mortgage with them too. Stuart (Broker) made us feel so much as ease and never pushed us to make a decision. finally once offer had been accepted, we had the pleasure to meet Kevin, who took care of the final part of the sale. Can I just say, the sale was straight forward, however little things kept getting in the way, from my side, but he was so calm and reassuring all the way. he made sure all parties were in the known and on call whenever I needed him. I'd certainly recommend Property Explorer. As they are a local firm, they have excellent knowledge on all the areas of the town, the ever changing market trends and plenty of 'inside' knowledge of the properties in Basingstoke. Kevin, Rachel and Oliver guided us successfully through a tough market and an even tougher transaction. Countless phone calls and emails over 7-8 months and TPE were honest and attentive to our purchase and sale needs and requirements. The complex nature of our transaction needed agents that were on the ball and focused. The Property explorer did not let us down. Don't go with Purple Bricks - Use a top local firm like The Property Explorer.

This is my second property I purchased from property explorer, quiet professional in their approach towards conducting a sale,Very transperent and honest service and in terms of keeping the buyer updated through out the sale process. The property's they advertise in basingstoke area area are of right price and value for money. They provide a good mortgage and solicitor service as well. My experience didn't get off to a great…

My experience didn't get off to a great start, with a lack of communication, and I wondered whether I'd made the right choice. Having paid up front, I had no option but to continue nevertheless. When my dealings moved to Kevin, things changed drastically for the better. I received a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable service and I am pleased I stuck it out after the initial teething problems. I was kept in the loop at all stages, and made to feel like a valued customer. Good customer service is the number one reason why I would use a company again, and I am happy to say that I would use The Property Explorer again.

Couldn't ask for anything more!We had our offer accepted in October and have received nothing but great service from Property Explorer. There have been a few bumps in the road (out of anyone's control) but Property Explorer are always happy to accommodate viewings while the sale is in motion and have no issues communicating via email rather than phone (which is a big help when in full time work!).I would like to give a special mention to their Mortgage Advisor, Stuart Groenendaal, who is great at what he does and is always happy to answer any questions asked. He will go above and beyond to make sure we have all the right information to make decisions.Thank you all for making our first home purchase pain free :)

Failed on many levels of service

I called to arrange a viewing on a house I’m Basingstoke, giving one weeks notice . I was called back promptly to confirm the appointment . I called the property explorer this week to ask if I could book another appointment for a house in the next road straight after . I was then informed that there was no booking at the original address even though this had been confirmed. And they were too busy on Saturday to book either houses in now . I explained my situation and they booked an appointment for Saturday at 5.30. I was informed that they would email me to confirm the appointment . I received an email on the day of the appointment addressed to a different person and regarding a different address. I tried to call the office and there was only voice mail from 4.00 onwards.I did not have a door number but I proceeded to the road and using the pictures on Zoopla and Rightmove tried to find the house in the dark . We search the road and found the right number after 25 minutes of searching . When we got there, there was no agent there and she had not contacted us to ask where we were. I am disgusted by this service offered here. Not only is this affecting me as a buyer but also affected the seller.

Honest, transparent and professional

From beginning to end we found Property Explorer to be amazing. All staff were friendly, honest, knowledgeable and nothing was ever too much for them. Despite a tough market for sellers our property was listed very quickly and viewings arranged promptly. Even when we lost our first buyers, another buyer was found within days!! From our experience Property Explorer are head and shoulders above every other estate agent in Basingstoke. From the first phone call to The Property Explorer Basingstoke to make a viewing appointment to the last call saying I had found a property, has been a totally friendly, helpful, easy experience. But this experience was made by 2 members of the Basingstoke team Ollie who I had my first viewing with, what a lovely, polite and very helpful young man, and then Kevin Cheeseman, now this man was amazing, brilliance customer service, very helpful, friendly and went the extra mile to help with purchasing a property I wanted. I have dealt with a lot of Estate agents recently and I can honestly say The Property Explorer is very lucky to have a member of staff like Ollie and most definitely like Kevin Cheeseman.
