I recommend using a traditional Estate Agent like Property Explorer for your house sale. Do not be tempted by the budget online DIY Estate Agents. They seem like a good idea at the time, but when your sale collapses due to the snail-slow progression and lack of support, you will wish you had opted for a proper Estate Agent. Although there was not a Property Explorer near me, I had used them for 3 previous house sales and trusted them implicitly. The professional photos were taken and my listing was online at Right Move in super-quick time. Property Explorer were able to manage the queries and issues from me, my buyer, seller and both solicitors. There were different requirements and timelines from all parties, but Property Explorer managed all expectations with ease. In fact, Property Explorer managed the whole process seamlessly, from start to finish. I have just exchanged contracts on my sale and purchase and I am delighted. Amazing service! Thank you!!

From our very first interaction right through to exchange, the service was flawless from top to bottom. Even at the very beginning, which now feels like a lifetime ago, booking and confirming viewings was handled more efficiently than with any other property we viewed. Communication was clear, prompt and organised. The information pack provided was thorough, and the Rightmove listing itself was detailed and accurate, which immediately gave us confidence in the professionalism of the business. Oliver, who showed us around initially, was professional, knowledgeable and gave us space to properly view the property without pressure. Danny Low handled the offer stage calmly and fairly, helping both sides reach agreement smoothly and transparently. The real standout throughout was Kevin Cheeseman. Kevin’s sales progression was exceptional. During what became a very stressful and delay-ridden conveyancing process (outside of the agent’s control), Kevin was proactive, persistent and completely on top of the chain. He chased solicitors, maintained communication between all parties, and ensured momentum never completely stalled. As buyers, not even the direct client of the agent, we felt supported throughout. That speaks volumes about Kevin’s professionalism and integrity. When things became tense, Kevin remained calm, solutions-focused and highly responsive. We genuinely believe the transaction could have fallen apart without his involvement. If we ever come to sell this property, The Property Explorer will be our first call. Top class Estate Agents. We had to sell our family home after the deaths of our parents, which in itself was a very emotional hard task to go through. However from the first contact through the process of selling our home, both Dan Low and Kevin Cheeseman have been outstanding. Full of compassion,empathy and patience with us. All members of the team that had any dealings with our property, including those who were showing potential buyers round were respectful to the property and very mindful of how this property came to market. They updated us, in detail at each step of the process. And happy to go at a pace which was comfortable for me, as letting go of my parent's house was really really hard. Our house had been on the market (with another agent) for a couple of months, with little interest being shown and only one viewing taking place where the buyer had not been properly qualified. I spoke with Ollie at TPE as I was concerned about the lack of interest the house was attracting… he highlighted several issues with the marketing and approach from the other agent who just seemed to want to reduce the sell price as a quick-fix, and we discussed ways this could be improved/how TPE could help. Ollie was patient, thorough and flexible in both his approach and the options he offered us. Long story short we instructed Ollie at TPE and the property was marketed by both agencies going forwards.. We went to market with hugely improved photographs, a ‘premium listing’ on Rightmove, and a dedicated team at TPE who worked to promote our property and to actually qualify buyers. Within a week TPE had 2 viewings booked and we received an offer shortly afterwards which was very close to our asking price. The original agent had advised us to reduce our property (by over £70,000) to have ‘any hope’ of selling - working on a fixed rate they seemed keen to push us to reduce the price safe in the knowledge they would still receive the same fee whilst we lost a large amount of money - so to receive this offer through a qualified TPE buyer was incredible, not only had they secured a buyer really quickly but they had achieved a much better sale for us, literally within a couple of weeks. Ollie showed a great deal of patience and understanding throughout the onboarding/instruction process and was always honest and upfront with me at every turn which I believe is so important. Throughout the whole process the communication from TPE has been excellent and they have proved time and time again that there are estate agents, and then there’s *ESTATE AGENTS* We have now exchanged contracts, and should complete our sale within the next three weeks.. I would wholeheartedly recommend Ollie and his team at TPE. They are trustworthy, open and honest and have been a pleasure to deal with throughout each stage of our journey. Thank you Ollie.

Although the sale didn’t ultimately complete, I would not hesitate to work with him again in the future. I have also used Stuart for mortgage services on two occasions now. Property Explorer - What an Excellent Estate Agent

I decided to use Property Explorer again for my current house move, even though I am probably 200+ miles away, without a local branch. I did ‘not’ consider using a budget online Estate Agent. In my experience sales progression from a budget online Estate Agent is either not a service they offer, or something they aren’t very good at. Don’t be fooled by the cheap fees, it will end in tears when your sale collapses! Rant over… Instead, I put my complete trust in Property Explorer and I am so glad I did. They were able to manage all of those tricky stages for me, from negotiating an acceptable price for my house, to managing seller and buyer expectations and timelines. As I was buying a new build, I had immense pressure to exchange contracts within 6 weeks, but my buyers were not ready to exchange for another 3 months on top of that! Property Explorer kept everything together, communicating with my buyers and their solicitors to keep everything on track. They really must have some magical powers - there is no other explanation! Yesterday I exchanged contracts, and I am absolutely delighted. Thank you so much guys!!
