We rented through Property Explorer for just under two years and dealt with Rachel and Wendy. Both of them were really helpful and we couldn't fault the service and advice they provided throughout this time. If we were to look into renting again at any point, my first call would be to Property Explorer.

A very deserved 5 Stars for TPE for providing such a courteous and knowledgeable service and professionalism from start to finish with the recent sale of our house.A big thank you has to go to Oliver who from the start totally put our mind at ease about selling our house and made the choice to go with TPE a no brainer.The onward sales process was made so easy with Kevin as our Sales Manager, his patience, knowledge and support was outstanding and his ability to keep me calm through the process was amazing.We really cant thank you all enough for the way you looked after us.This is the 2nd time we have used TPE and with the experience we received would not hesitate to recommend.

Overall, an unprofessional experience. The sales team were at times, aggressive in their approach. The sales progression team were hard to get hold of and frequently 'in meetings'. An image of our house was also used in a negative advertising campaign against a competitor which we found to be totally unprofessional and a breach of privacy. One positive were the admin staff, they did respond promptly to enquiries.
Dear Mrs McCullough & Mr McKenning.I am genuinely sorry your experience was mainly negative. Were there no positives at all? I remember personally taking time to receive and make calls from home on my personal mobile and taking a lot of time whilst on holiday just to get your home sold in a difficult market. I seem to remember Oliver having to negotiate hard to achieve you circa 10k over the price guide. The slow response issue with my after sales department was never reported to me, I could have resolved this issue for you had I known. I agree with the advertising campaign, although we were extremely proud of selling the property due to the declining market conditions and especially as the other agent failed. I do agree we should have asked your permission - this will now be changed for any future marketing campaign. Despite my feelings it is your experience that matters to me so please except my sincere apologies. I will call you to discuss the issues in more detail as I don’t want us to make the same mistakes again.Regards Richard Low (MD)

We originally approached The Property Explorer 4 years ago about selling our flat but unfortunately due to external factors the market wasn’t where we needed it to be. We came back to them in May of this year and having paid their “one-time” fee back in 2018 they were happy to take on the marketing again. As luck would have it they knew of an investor who was in the market for rental opportunities so we started conversations about viewings etc. The Property Explorer we’re quick with their communication, and used their position to get the best for both us and the buyer. We agreed a sale quickly and 3 months later have completed with no issues.

Always been sceptical about estate agents. However Property Explorer is more like an extended family. They have been exceptional with both the selling of our property and the purchase of the new. Despite troubles with the Land Registry, which has caused considerable delays, they have constantly kept us informed and have maintained a positive outlook at all times. We can’t thank them enough.

These guys don’t give up! Trying to sell just as the market crashed in second half of 2022 has been so challenging and many Agents would have lost interest - not these guys thank goodness . Regularly working behind the scenes to get it sold and more importantly over the line they more than earned their fee. Found us not one but two buyers in an extremely challenging downward market. The first deal fell through due to no fault of TPE but another was located within a few weeks at a slightly lower price. Conveyancing took 5 months to exchange contracts due to problems down the chain but again not related to TPE's performance in any way.

We had an excellent relationship with the property explorer over my 8 year tenancy, unfortunately once my landlord put the house on the market they were very business oriented and weren't very understanding. They didn't really want to help us find another property and we were left in limbo, not the personal service that we had come to expect and appreciate it was a real shame.
Dear Carl,Being honest I (and the whole team) are absolutely gutted that you felt the service we gave was only worth 3 stars. As you say we work so hard to give a personal service and we have had a great relationship for the last 8 years but there are just some factors out of our control. We simply didn’t have any properties big enough that would take dogs that we could put you in, it really wasn’t that we didn’t want to help. We did help arrange for you to leave the tenancy a month early (to save you paying double rent) than the notice period by talking to the Landlord and actively chased your Landlord for you to get a full deposit return as quickly as possible. We kept you informed regarding viewings and arranged them around your busy schedule. We just all tried as hard as we could to make this as easy as possible for you. You were a brilliant tenant and this helped us no end. We really wanted to keep you guys as tenants but just didn't have the right house or landlord to fit with your situation.We always do our best to find good tenants a new property and hopefully everyone understands that re-housing people is only something we can do if we have the properties within the timescales required. We wish you all the best for the future in your new home, and thanks for your help over the last few months.RegardsRachel and team
