If instead of a house, you are looking for a home, you must find first Rachel, with her experience and commitment will guide you to the right place.

Search against time, a new place to live with your family, takes you to deal with many estate agencies, and most of the time what you find is frustration and wasting time, the reason is simple, they do not listen. They are so focused on their commission and quickly locate "someone" in that place that they forget the most important, people look for homes not square meters. Our search ended when we found Rachel at The Property Explorer, she and her team were the first to see us in the eye as we explained our needs and possibilities, then together we began the search for the perfect place, a search that ended here, at the home where we live now, always with the advice and support of Raquel and the people of the Property Explorer. ... For other estate agencies, the ultimate goal is to sign a contract and get the commission. For Explorer signing the contract is just the beginning of a promising relationship ... thanks Rachel.

Best in Basingstoke

Property Explorer (particularly Jess and Olly) have been really great. Always happy to help, welcoming at the houses we have viewed and will share information when asked. Honest, open and friendly. I hope we buy a house through them but it all comes down to availability in the market. We have viewed the most houses through them than any other local Estate Ageney. Sadly the house we offered on went for way above the asking price otherwise we would been able to witness the full Property Explorer service/experience - both pre and post sale.

Through service from sale to completion

Oliver Brooks is an open and honest sales director who speaks to you on a personal level rather than trying to push the hard sell on you, immediately inspiring trust within the relationship. It is great to know throughout the process the property explorer is there to serve the needs of their client rather than ensuring a sale goes through to secure their commission. Throughout the process there are inevitably some tough conversations to be had which the property explorer were always on hand to offer thier advice and experience. The sales progression teams are very thorough throughout the process, handing over cases should some one be off and always meeting the deadlines that they set with you. I would throughly reccomend the property explorer to any seller.

An estate agent with a conscience!

My dealings with the property Explorer in Basingstoke were extremely positive. Initially, although the offer I put in on a property was rejected by the vendor in favour of a cash buyer, Richard Low did his best to communicate with me throughout the entire process. The property eventually became available a few months later, and my offer was accepted. I had concerns about being gazumped but Richard assured me that they did not deal with customers in that way and true to his word, everything went ahead as planned. I was then passed to the Sales Progression team, and was in the capable hands of Will Maxted. He was very helpful in moving things along and obtaining information from the vendor when required. I found him very pleasant and easy to talk to. I requested additional viewings so my builder could come along and they were able to accommodate my request for a Saturday viewing, although it was a very busy day for them. I was shown round the property by Ollie, who was extremely patient with me whilst I discussed various issues with the builder. I would like to say I have had dealings with various estate agents, both as a buyer and a tenant and The Property Explorer in Basingstoke definitely changed my negative view of estate agents. Do keep up the good work.

Basingstoke Property Explorer

I rent out a property in Basingstoke and had previously used a rival letting agent on a fully managed service basis. On a monthly basis I always felt underwhelmed at the service received, despite any issues ultimately being resolved. I guess I assumed a fully managed service would result in a feeling of security and confidence, but this was never the case. So, I decided to switch agents and confess to thinking that I expected little change if any. How wrong I was! Genuine first class service, my options presented in a clear and transparent fashion, a first class tenant and an agent who has gone out of their way to deliver service over and above what I have expected time and again. That feeling of security and confidence was not a pipe dream - I now have it and only wish that I had switched agent sooner. Its rare for me to find the time to write a review, but its a pleasure to know that there are still some businesses that value the basics and deliver against their promises. I would not hesitate to recommend the Basingstoke Property Explorer team to anyone, with a special mention to Wendy Ellis who personifies the experience received. Thank you!

Reliable & hard working

Richard dealt with the purchase of our property. The guy that was selling the property lived in America so communication was hard. Richard kept us 100% up to date at all times. Even if he had no 'news' he still gave us a call to let us know he was doing all he could. Several times he rang us after office hours in order to contact the vendor in the states. Every question he has been able to answer and every request he helped us out on. A really genuine guy providing a trustworthy service. After the sale Wendy was also brilliant at communicating with us and we always felt we were in safe hands.

Bought my house through Property Explorer over 12 years ago and recently sold it through them. Very reasonable pricing policy without compromising on service and as they know the local market, I believe the realistic starting price was instrumental in generating enough attention to attract a buyer quite quickly. Once a buyer had been found the sales progression team kept me well informed with regular updates throughout the process, and Christine was excellent. Would recommend the service to others.

Excellent agents, with outstanding customer service.

We have been using property explorer for the rental of two properties and are now purchasing our first home through them. Their service is second to none, their open friendly approach gives you faith in the information you are receiving. They are incredibly efficient and go above and beyond to help you from a basic enquiry and maintenance on your rental property, to taking time to help you through every step of the journey of purchasing the house for the first time. Lettings Landord of five properties for over 10 years

The property explorer have been handling our five properties for over seven years now. We have dealt with Rachel and Lisa for all of that time. Good all round service

My experience of Property Explorer has overall been of a high standard, and much better than some of the agents I've dealt with in the past. Rachel is excellent and always responds really quickly. My only issue really was that when I moved in there was a very quick turnaround between the previous tenant moving out and me getting the keys, and I found the property had not been left very clean, it would be good if time was allowed for the agent to check the property thoroughly. However Rachel made every effort to get this sorted for me and I've had no issues since. I would certainly recommend Property Explorer to anyone looking to rent.

Unprofessional contradictory rude and upsetting expect

I have had the most awful experience with this agent especially with the sales manager. Not only did he refer to me as ‘mate’ every other sentence. Which is unprofessional but he did not seem to know me from 1 phone call to another even after I offered full asking price on a Property. They constantly contradicted themselves and when challenged were rude and condescending. I shall endeavour not to use them in future. AVOID. !!!!!!!!
