Recommend!I would 100% recommend The Property Explorer to anyone thinking of selling their property, our experience was great from the start.. We opted for the payment upfront option to save on some fees and i can say that you definitely get the same excellent level of service from the team. Oliver, Rachel and the team are brilliant. They were in contact regularly throughout the process and efficient in arranging viewings at times that suit us, taking into consideration that we'd need to take our dogs out at that time. Would also like to recommend their in house Mortgage Advisor, Stuart who is very experienced and understands individual needs.They are all genuine and lovely people!Thank you all again, we will be working with you again in the future!

I had a long process with property explorer with selling my house and having 3 different buyers. Property explorer were very efficient and always got back to me as quick as possible. They were all very friendly and gave good advice with selling my property.Towards the end was a stressful process and Kevin was amazing. Chasing solicitors and helping me with any information I needed and making the process move forward quicker, making it less stressful as a seller. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Amazing! I used Property Explorer to rent and sell my house. Rachel and the lettings team were great at talking me through the renting process and also listened to my needs carefully as the first time I had rented out my home. Great photos and super thorough itinerary at check in and out. On the sales front, again Rachel and the team did a great job on showings and pricing. Once STC the team kept me up to date with progress and queries from my buyer professionally and swiftly. Wish I still lived in the area as I would use them again

Whilst my purchase didn't complete, this was only due to issues further up the chain. My dealings with Kevin I could not fault his friendliness and communication were excellent. Kevin responded to calls quickly and kept me updated throughout the process. He chased daily with solicitors and unfortunately issues beyond his control meant I needed to withdraw from the purchase, I was in a position of urgency to move and the issues further up the chain meant there was no guarantee of timespans. Unfortunately this happens and it was only when legal/solicitor issues arose 3 months into the purchase that I had to make the decision to withdraw. My experience with property explorer was a positive one, from arranging viewings, emails and being kept in the loop throughout the process. Thank you.

We had such great service throughout selling our property and buying with property explorer.They were excellent with providing updates, and giving me a daily call in those last couple of weeks leading up to completion. They did everything they could to make sure we completed on the day we all agreed with, and it did happen with a lot of hard work done there end!We mainly dealt with Kevin throughout and he was excellent! Stuart was also great who we used as our mortgage advisor through property explorer, and would highly recommend using him to.Many thanks again to you both!!

Oliver and the team at The Property Explorer far exceeded my expectations. From the outset Oliver was very knowledgeable of the local market and set expectations accordingly (unlike some who told me I could achieve the unrealistic Zoopla valuation!) From there on the support team including Kevin, Rachel and others were super helpful and extremely proactive. Having been slightly sceptical of estate agents before this, I would highly recommend The Property Explorer as agents to use for Basingstoke residents!

TrustpilotA Stressful Time Made Much Less Stressful due to Good Customer Service…
We were buyers from Property Explorer and dealt with them extensively as the seller was overseas. All those I dealt with were friendly and helpful - Oliver and Anna for their patience with several trips to see the house with our builder after the offer was accepted. And then both Rachel and Kevin in chasing up the sale (the solicitors were particularly slow on both sides). Rachel kept us updated and never seemed to mind my venting about the solicitors. I think if it hadn't been for Rachel and Kevin chasing things along, the sale could have gone on for another month as the solicitors were in no rush. All in all, if we decided to sell (we're hoping this is the last move) ... then we'd definitely use Property Explorer in Basingstoke. They bucked the trend of the bad name most estate agents have.

Finding a place to call our own is always a difficult an complex process, that associated with the huge investment, financial and emotional, that one has to give, can drain your energy out. Working with The Property Explorer, especially Kevin and Stuart, this process was easily done, by first identifying our dream home, and then how could we finance it. They stood by us and provide us all information and support, and were always very transparent about where the process was. We are now going to spend our first Christmas in our House, and we can thanks "The Property Explorer".

GoogleI have tried on to view 3 properties with "The Property Explorer" and NOT succeeded in seeing any one of them! Every property that they advertise has an open day which is always on a Saturday. They don't even try to make appointments at other times, and their stock answer is "the vendor only wants an open day". So if you have to work on a Saturday find a different agent because evidently The Property Explorer only likes the lazy way of selling houses since it means they only have to go out at the weekend.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleWe sold our property through The Property Explorer successfully, which was not really a surprise considering the market. What was amazing was how much effort Wendy put into closing the deal between acceptance of offer and exchange. There were six parties in the chain and two party's estate agents were also in Basingstoke. The other agents were useless at communication and pushing things along. Wendy, however, was prepared to circumvent the other agents and talk directly with other solicitors involved down the line. If it was not for her it would either have taken another couple of months or maybe even collapsed altogether. All estate agents are good at talking, but some just move on to the next job once the offer has been accepted. The Property Explorer are actually good at completing.

Buying a house for the first time, it was difficult to understand everything but Kevin was able to explain processes and put us at ease. There was genuine care to look after us as buyers and the sellers too. Thank you for helping us with our first home.

Our landlords told us in May that they might have to consider selling the house at the end of July if interest rates on their mortgage stayed high. In August, I called Property Explorer to see if there had been any update with this as we had heard nothing from them or the landlords, and we were told that yes, the landlords were planning on selling the house. This naturally was very worrisome news, but the response I got from Wendy from Property Explorer over the phone was akin to "this happens all the time, why are you asking so many questions about it?" As if I was inconveniencing and annoying her by checking if we were going to be kicked out of our house at some point soon. We were then assured by our landlords (who we'd had a friendly relationship with until then) that they were going to try and sell the house to investors only to begin with, as they had been assured by Property Explorer that they had plenty of landlords on their books who might be willing to buy with us in situ. A photographer soon came round to take some pictures of the house and lo and behold, a few days later there was a listing on Rightmove for anyone to buy - no mention of investors only, and indeed, by that time I'd already received a call from Rachel from sales asking about scheduling viewings. When I later asked Wendy if it was a landlord coming to view, she had no idea at all and suggested I talk to Rachel. Instead I called the landlord, who sounded just as baffled as I was about the open listing, and he said his wife would speak to the agency. A couple of hours later, we heard that the listing was going ahead as is, as were the viewings, as apparently "no investors on their books were interested because of the new tenant laws coming into effect soon." What total and utter sh*te. There do still seem to be landlords renting properties after all. Then there was the agency having the wrong key to the property to let viewers in on multiple occasions (it seems they couldn't get it fixed the first time around) and even having the nerve to ask my fiancée to leave work mid morning to come and let one of their agents in for a viewing. I even had to let the carpet cleaners in myself and arrived late to work in the process because they were given the wrong key by the agency. The whole experience just smacked of incompetence, lies and a shocking lack of empathy, like we were just some annoying problem that needed to be gotten rid of. Maybe they were right - there were at least ten viewings while we were still living there with no offers, and it sold lightning quick after we moved out. You got your commission after all - happy days.
