GoogleCollins was my first letting agent as I newly entered UK.The team was not helpful at all with the transition as me and my co-tenant had no idea about how things work in UK.they left us with a bunch of keys,we had no gas or heating in the house when we started ,it literally took us around 4-5 days to get it up and running while we were freezing in cold october as we came from India and were not used to the cold weather .We could not cook food;had to survive on microwave noodles and soup for 4-5 days alongside doing our 12 hour shifts in the hospital.If things were explained to us beforehand than it would have been much easier for us.Apart from the initial hassle we has a stable tenancy under collins after that once we got to know the place and policies.
Also the property file app is a good app that helps manage issues during the tenancy which is very handy and quick.NegativeResponsiveness

1. They made a silly mistake saying is 4 weeks notice (email confirmation), and then change it to 1 month notice period at the end.
2. If the item not related to them, they will not reply and response.
3. They (Jodie and Michelle) try to put the blame and responsible between tenant and landlord, assuming they are just outside and in fact they are letting agent.

Sorry you feel this way, however I can confirm rent arrears would have been taken from your deposit with any letting agent. I do not feel this is a reflection of bad practice from Collins Residential.
The one month notice period was outlined in your tenancy agreement, and was confirmed 4 times to you in writing when you asked, prior to vacating the property. I am sorry you feel this was not made clear enough for you.

I had three valuations and after spending a short time with Michael Howley I knew instantly he was the right person and choice of agent to help me.
