GoogleThey made a mistake in notice period, but did not admit the mistake during the conversation with tenant.
They stated in the dispute statment that:
"They called and spoke with my colleague Lucy who is new to the company, who advised on one occasion it was '4 weeks' notice, however we very quickly contacted the tenant to advise it is actually 1 calendar month."
I did not receive any email saying they made an initially mistake informing me is “4 weeks notice period” and contacted me for 1 calendar month.
Would letting agent provide me the evidence that they quickly contacted me (as tenant) via email stated is "1 calender month"?
They stated that "the four weeks mentioned once in error, and has done ever since."
They stated is an error and not a mistake made by their colleague.
How can a letting agent make a this mistake and did not apologies or even compensation on this.
Please avoid using this letting agent.

GoogleDarren and Tia formed a formidable team to help us sell our house. Right from the start Minton’s went out of their way to go above and beyond the call of duty. Darren took great photographs of the property speculatively (I’d never heard of this before) and guided me well on price and presentation. The property was sold within 48 hours of being put on the market in February 2022. Through no fault of the agent the sale fell through in May. The property was re advertised within 24 hours (after checking our instruction) and sold almost immediately after many viewings. Now we have exchanged contracts I feel ready to leave a review and thank all the staff who were courteous and actually returned calls when they said they would. I would have no hesitation in using their service again. I wish more agents were like them.
