GoogleI had a very concerning experience with this agency before even being able to arrange a viewing. I was told that before they could show me the flat, I had to complete an “income check” by opening my banking app and following their instructions so they could verify my finances in real time. I was also told that if I wasn’t willing to do this, they would not proceed with the viewing. This is not normal or acceptable practice in the UK. No legitimate letting agent or referencing company should require live access to your bank account or pressure you into sharing sensitive financial information just to view a property. Because of this, I did not feel safe and decided not to continue. I would strongly advise others to be very cautious and never open your banking app or share financial details in this way. Proper referencing should be done securely using documents through recognised channels, not through live access to your personal accounts.

Germano is a lettings superhero. He is unfailingly a pleasure to deal with, delivering impeccable service that is of another era. Working with him comes as such a relief at a time when the rental market is characterised by poor levels of service which have become acceptable if not the norm in many agencies. Germano meets every issue with a clear and level-head, where no problem is too big to fix, giving both us and our tenants a positive, upbeat attitude and the confidence to know that any issue will be sorted promptly and professionally. As a school PTA we are extremely grateful for the support we have received from MG over the years. Amy in particular has been super helpful. We communicate with her with such ease, she always gets back to us quickly and comes up with suggestions of how we can work together. The team at MG have gone over and above to support us. Being judges at our annual Talent show 🎤 (on a Friday night in a crowded school hall for three hours!). Supervising our bouncy castle at school fetes. Helping with promo.And the regular income we receive from our commitment to families having boards up has been a huge support to us in times of l financial constraints. This has allowed us to purchase things for the school we would not have been able to. As a landlord I have found Martyn Gerrard to be totally professional. The staff are polite, experienced, well informed and extremely hard working.The property game has seen quite a bit of turbulence in recent years, but Martyn Gerrard just keep on delivering a superb service.In particular, my most recent experience with Jess H and Suraj who are both managed by the consistently excellent Andrew E has been a pleasure.Suraj was outstanding in finding, vetting and securing quality tenants. Followed by Jess E who was patient and handled all issues with the utmost professionalism. She did a brilliant job in securing a contract renewal.I like using Martyn Gerrard because it is clear that they ensure that their staff are well trained and operate to the highest standards. It might cost a little extra, but it is worth it. I have peace of mind knowing I have Martyn Gerrard as my agents.

Right from the start, from the first time I called her to enquire about the house she was warm, professional and efficient and we managed to sort a viewing and offer all in one day! Whilst at the property she was super friendly and helpful showing us around and answering all our questions. She seemed very well informed about the property, landlady and surrounding area which was really refreshing and in comparison to all the viewings we went, this one really stood out and mostly all thanks to Lynsey's amazing work! He is very responsive, helpful, and looks to resolve issues in a timely manner, while keeping me updated throughout the process. In particular, I was impressed with the level of proactiveness shown during the mid-term inspection, in addition to the report, he provided good feedback / observations about the property and made recommendations which helped me make the right decisions, he also got the quotes, and ensured the work was carried out properly.
