I have been using Martyn Gerrard N8 branch since 1987 for both sales and lettings. They have always been fair and honest but I must particularly give credit to Sales Negotiator Treon Johnson who breaks the stereotype of Estate Agents past. Treon is honest and trustworthy, always putting the client first and for this I thank him personally for exceptional phone manner and kindness.

I have had a tenancy for 8 years straight with MG. I must express that over all the years with MG and experiences with other agencies I have never come across an agent that has put so much effort and time to a tenant. I want to say a massive thank you to Fatmir, who has helped in so many ways and gone above and beyond to assure my requests and managing my end of tenancy. MG never let Fatmir go! Very rare to find someone who has passion and quality services that can deliver and provide quality experiences, especially for tenants. Most off all agencies and staff put all the effort into landlords, and even though my 8 year of tenancy has ended, the process and service I got from Fatmir was as if I was to continue my tenancy and wasn’t treated as one of many. Time was spent and process on delivery was met.

Gintare Pauliunaite was very helpful, she was flexible on when she was available to answer my questions and I didn't feel like I was having to chase her for responses. After an initial viewing at a property that wasn't a good fit for me she listened closely to my wants and when a property showed up she let me know and it was perfect for me. Location, size and price were all as I wanted. I feel she gave me a great service.

Scamming company with questionable practices, including initiating repair work without obtaining our prior agreement or consent. What's truly unsettling is that these repairs should have been covered by insurance, a fact confirmed by insurance company. MG unilaterally hired contractors, subsequently sending us the bills. To make matters worse, our repeated requests for invoices detailing the work completed have gone unanswered. Request for severer roof leak has been dragged on and on, still no update or action after numerous emails and calls in 1.5 months. It's deeply troubling that Martyn Gerrard continues these practices, seemingly with little regard for ethical or legal standards. Unfortunately, it appears that the only viable course of action to halt these practices and protect our rights is to consider pursuing legal measures.Edit: Message to the review managing person:It might seem more responsible to do a proper investigation first before accusing your customer's complaint being inaccurate. Based on the experience with the person I interacted with, it's consistent pattern that no evidence provided for statements or allegations. Thought it is an individual case, now look at the response from the review management team, it seems like more than a individual behaviour.
We are really sorry that you have had these problems. Your complaint refers to the Block Management Team rather than the Lettings Property Management Department. We are investigating the claims you have made. Although we believe there are some inaccuracies, there are obviously issues we need to investigate and resolve. We will be in direct contact with you as soon as possible.

We recently bought and sold our home with MG and were very impressed with the service we received. They were able to find us a buyer by doing an open house viewing and secured us an offer within 24 hours. In the meantime, Scott did a brilliant job finding us our dream home which met all our requirements. Jatin was fantastic in managing our sale and purchase - he constantly kept us informed throughout the whole process. There was a point when the process was halted but Jatin’s insightfulness prevented the chain from collapsing. Thank you, Jatin, Scott, and the MG Finchley team.

Gintare Pauliunaite was a pleasure to work with when she took on the letting of my flat. She shared with me every step taken and always responded to my calls efficiently and as soon as it was possible. She is a top professional and respected all the points and conditions we discussed before she introduced the tenants that now occupy the flat. It was challenging as they were renting from abroad and could only visit the property on a video she provided to them. She managed to get all the moves right. The now tenants are very happy with their choice. I am very happy too. I must and want to add that whatever the nature of the queries or problems, beyond especially finding suitable tenants for me, Gintare Pauliunaite has been helpful. She is certainly a top asset to Martyn Gerrard. Thank you Gintare.

GoogleMe and my wife were being shown a property by agent Lee. He seemed like a really nice guy, very friendly and had all the information we needed. However, before we left, I wanted to double check the water pressure in the shower room and my wife needed to use the loo. When I came back downstairs I caught Lee with his ear up against the door, listening to my wife go to the toilet. I'm still so shocked and embarrassed I haven't had the heart to tell her. Terrible customer service.

GoogleHave worked with Martyn Gerard’s commercial and residential in various branches and have to say, pretty impressed all round. Craig Thompkins in particular we found to be straight forward, upfront and honest. No games, helpful and available. Recommended a cracking lawyer (Ushi from Layzells) who moved things along swiftly. Any time there were minor bumps in the road he jumped in to help smooth them over. Buying a property should be an arduous and stressful process, but with these guys it was pretty pain free. Moving is quite a stressful process especially when you are a first time graduate. Kevin has not only been amazing but has been kind, patient and so understanding. We have been through a lot trying to get a place and Kevin took a chance on two uni students and advocated for us whenever we needed support. We all have our share of estate agent horror stories and memories, but after my experience of dealing with Kyri and Arzu, it's safe to say they have changed all of my perceptions.We first met Arzu when she showed us round the property. From then, to completing the sale, she was refreshingly honest, helpful and professional at all times. She was always friendly, approachable and on hand to answer any questions. We couldn't really have asked for more.Kyri was brought in to help get the sale over the line, as Arzu and team were very busy in the North Finchley area (given our experience, we're not surprised they are getting loads of work!). Kyri was an absolute hero: answering our difficult questions; providing stoic and balanced advice; always keeping us up to date and going far beyond the call of duty. We never always confident the sale would go through.We'd recommend Kyri and Arzu to anyone - they are an excellent team and a credit to estate agents everywhere.

Can't say I've had particularly good experience with estate agents in the past. Gintare was refreshingly helpful and found us the ideal place. We went to view a place that wasn't really what we were looking for. A day later I received a call from Gin, letting us know about a property that was just about to go on the market and she'd like us to view it first. A month later we'd got the keys and are happily settled in our new place. I'd very much recommend MG for any prospective renters. I'm already considering buying through the agents as I was so happy with the rental process. Thanks again Gin.

An outstanding service! Don’t look any further for a professional, compassionate and honest team. Once again, Martyn Gerrard have delivered for me. This is my 6th time buying and selling through the Finchley and North Finchley offices over many years. My agent Kyri Ayed has been an absolute gem. He is professional, friendly, efficient and goes way beyond the call of duty (Help move furniture, drive round the property at night etc.). He is clearly passionate about his job and is very experienced. Arzu has also been a star, following up assiduously and always being there when needed. What a team! They both deserve praise and recognition for their outstanding work!
