Thank you, Barnard Marcus Estate Agent, Whetstone Sales Branch, for securing my dream property in Whetstone. Customer services on offer are exceptional. The office staff are very welcoming, and they gave me regular updates on my purchase. The Senior Sales Negotiator Mr Shaz Paymai, acted very professionally and was very fair and transparent in handling my purchase. The Mortgage Broker, Mr Akill Patel, is one of the best and most highly competent in the mortgage market, and who managed to secure me the best mortgage deal. I have no hesitation in recommending Barnard Marcus Whetstone Sales Branch to any prospective client. Thank you, for a job well done!!! 👏

With the amazing help of Akill Patel I recently completed on re-mortgage. Akill talked to me through all my options, carefully explaining all the figures, benefits and potential drawbacks of each mortgage option with all banks available for me and helped me to understand what was best for me and my circumstance. Akill completed the whole process so seamlessly. In addition, Akill was always reachable and happy to discuss and answer any queries I had and continued to follow up with updates as things moved forward - right up until the end! I 100% recommend Akill and will be reaching out to him for all my mortgage needs going forward.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

If only there were more stars I could give Barnard Marcus Whetstone I would! The team's professionalism, experise and friendliness are absolutely second to none. Chris helped us secure our offer on the property and was with us at every step of the process. We wouldn't have had a clue about anything mortgage-related without Akill's thorough and expert advice - both answered our (many) calls and emails promptly and diligently, and would always go extremely beyond what we expected by always making time for us on weekends and their out-of-office hours. Barrie's help and perseverance got us through the final messy stages of the purchase. Thank you a million, and lots lots more, to all of them and everyone at the office who would always make sure our calls were returned if Chris, Akill or Barrie were unavailable, and sometimes even help with our queries themselves! Thank you so so so much for helping us purchase our first home!

I was always able to contact him and I am very pleased with the way he handled the purchase of my first property. From the start of the process, through to completion Akill was absolutely excellent and I felt very fortunate that I had such an attentive and dedicated mortgage broker managing the purchase of my first property. Akill was very communicative throughout the whole process. I received regular updates so I knew what was happening at all stages. I honestly appreciated his patience and expertise. If I ever left a message Akill would always follow it up promptly. I would certainly recommend Akill to a friend or family member. Thank you so much for helping me buy my home. We used Barnard Marcus for the sale of our property in Barnet. The service was impeccable, efficient and friendly from start to end. It felt like our dedicated agent, Barney, had a personal investment in the sale, such was his commitment. We had a challenging few weeks prior to exchange made far easier by Barney's timely updates and efforts to chivvy everything along with the other parties and solicitors. I can recommend Barney at Barnard Marcus unreservedly and can honestly say that his efforts contributed greatly to getting the sale over the line.

Really happy with the service from the Whetstone team at Barnard Marcus and would recommend them to anyone selling their home in the area. Made the whole process of selling really easy and checked in with us all the way along until completion. Barney and Barrie were a great help through the whole process and lovely to deal with. Akill has also been great in helping to gain a mortgage for our future purchase. He spent time giving us advice and helping us to understand the whole process.

Coming off an unsatisfactory experience with another estate agent my partner and I switched to Barnard Marcus Whetstone to sell our flat on the High Road. We were very impressed with Barrie and the team, particularly Cameron, Barney and Shaz. They were all very easy to communicate with, provided us with prompt updates at every stage of the sale and kept the process moving to ensure the sale was completed within our required timescales. I would highly recommend Barnard Marcus Whetstone if you are thinking about selling in the area.

We wouldn't have been able to get our house without Akill Patel's mortgage advisory services. Not only was it incredibly efficient (we had less than a day's notice to get our MIP updated and approved), but the end to end service was very affordable for someone looking to buy their first house. Akill was also one of the most professional, competent and friendly people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Can not recommend him highly enough.

We recently sold our 3-bedroom semi-detached house in Whetstone N20 with Barrie and the team from the Whetstone offices of Barnard Marcus. Barrie was always approachable if we had any queries and his calm manner assured us along the way that everything would work out - and it did! My wife and I would like to thank the whole team for their efforts and would recommend them to anyone thinking of buying or selling a home in this area.

The purchase was very complicated as the seller was in a chain and there were a few legal issues along the way which prolonged the entire process however Barney was always on hand from start to finish and kept me informed of any updates and was proactive in chasing up any enquiries. The mortgage team were also very supportive and helped me secure a good deal.

We had a great experience buying through Barnard Marcus. The whole process was very smooth and quick thankfully. Mortgage advisor Akill went above and beyond. Barney initially showed us the property and was our main contact throughout, always happy to help out with any query we had. Branch manager Barrie was also really helpful in sorting some last minute issues. Many thanks to the team!

Extremely good experience as a buyer with Barnard Marcus Whetstone, I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. They are extremely responsive, bend over backwards to make sure all needs are met and carry out the process with high levels of professionalism. Particular praise needs to be given to both Barney and Ogo, who were incredibly clear, personable and helpful throughout the process; would love to work with both of them again!

We recently sold a house through the Whetstone team. Before we selected them, I met both them and their local competition. They showed a lot of ambition and enthusiasm and that carried through the process as they kept things moving until sold. I worked with a number of the team (Barrie, Cameron etc) and they were all very easy to do business with.

Huge thank you to Akill who helped us through a very long and complicated application with a lender who was extremely slow, Akill was always on hand to help and eventually found us an alternative option with Halifax which only took 1 week from DIP to completion! Thanks Akill for working on your days off and putting up with my constant phone calls! Highly recommend if you are looking for an advisor who will go above and beyond to help!!

Despite the fact that our property took 21 weeks to complete, this was not due to the estate agent but the buyer's solicitor. Barrie and Akill were especially helpful, always kept us updated, even when they were as frustrated as us and were quick to respond whenever we called. I would say the two of them went above and beyond what you would expect of estate agents and we will be forever grateful that due to them the sale completed when it did!
