It really makes a difference when an estate agents has a vast contact of book of potential buyers as they can target specific profiles rather than just relying on Zoopla/Rightmove. It really made the difference here and we sold our property within several viewings. As to sale progression, Barney really pulled out the stops. He was contactable on short notice and really fought our corner and was not pushy. When Barney was on leave his colleague Barrie stepped in and was very professional. I would recommended both of them and this estate agents in general.

I am very grateful to have used the excellent services of Barnard Marcus Whetstone to sell our flat. The teamwork is fantastic; all the staff are happy to engage and know about your sale but they are also careful to pass you to the key person depending on where you are in the process. We had particularly first-rate service from Cameron and Barney and the team is so well lead by Barrie. The fee does seem like a large sum but there were some critical points where BM Whetstone made a significant difference to the sale, eg with the sale price and the acceptance by the valuer of the sale price. As it is with the sale of leasehold flats, there were bumpy moments and BM Whetstone did everything they could to smooth the way including recommending exceptional workers. I appreciated the efficiency of the service, the detailed responses to each query and the kindness shown in assisting me with practical tasks, as I live a long way from the property. Thank you, Cameron, Barney and Barrie and the rest of the team, for working so hard and helping to bring the sale to fruition!

If I could give 0 stars I would…disgraceful customer service. I booked in a viewing at 4pm today. I was asked on the phone whether I wanted to speak to their Mortgage Broker (I told them I had one anyway, but they wanted me to speak to them compare prices and to meet at their office). 20 minutes before my viewing I phoned them to see if we were still on and didn’t get a call back. I had to phone again at 3:55pm. I spoke to Barney Beswetherick (Assistant Branch Manager) and said I would meet him at the property to which he replied “no problem, here is the address, I am just leaving the office now” After waiting 15 minutes at the property, I phoned to see where he was. To my disbelief they told me my viewing was now at 5pm because of the meeting they wanted me to have with their Mortgage Broker. Not only did they not tell me, but the Manager Barry Christophi said “Just because you changed your plans doesn’t make it our fault” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Not only rude but unbelievably disgusted by their attitude. They tried to force me to speak with their mortgage broker after telling them multiple times I did already have one and it wasn’t needed, they wasted my time. Their 63% 1-star ratings says it all really. Stay away from them. Horrific branch.

I had a very smooth experience selling my flat with Barnard Marcus in Whetstone. I chose them out of the options available due to their positive reputation, and they did not disappoint. Selling a flat is obviously not a fun, easy or short experience, but I trusted them to guide me through the process. Cameron Russell introduced me to how it would all work, and helped me pick out a buyer that actually materialised in a sale. Christian Alfano was who I communicated with the most; I believe he found the actual buyer, and helped with the back and forth, on the big things and even on small things like "does the buyer want to buy my washing machine?" He got back to me on all enquiries and there were a lot. Barrie Christophi, Graca Matroos and Camilla Undorte also helped along the process. We exchanged a few days ago, completing in a few weeks.
