I have just bought a house where the seller's estate agent was Hunters. two items to note : 1. their pestering me to prove I had the funds via endless email demands, then when my solicitor raised one issue, total ignorance for 2 weeks. Not good. 2. I feel for the seller in that they totally missed off the presence of a very long private tree-lined driveway, and a full size totally convertable loft.

GoogleThis is my first negative review since moving to UK, please be very careful dealing with this agency, especially if you are renting there properties, record all the conversations with there agents and get everything in writing, PLEASE don't believe there verbal confirmations, they tricked me to move out of the property and promised a rent refund for the extra days i already paid through direct debit, but after moving out the landlord didn't oblige to the agreement, these guys said that they did not give any written agreements so washed off there hands, There agents are very well trained to speak very politely and create a friendly relationship and make us believe them, but show there real faces when there things are done, there reviews and ratings are paid promotions so please be aware and don't get tricked.
We are sorry if you feel that the service you received has been below your expectations. We regretfully are unable to control financial decisions made by the landlord. In this particular scenario, the landlord was not satisfied with the cleanliness of the property after you had vacated, yet he still refunded your deposit, in full, back to your nominated account. Beyond this, the landlord decided he will not refund the extra days rent (which you requested even though you failed to give one months’ notice as per your tenancy agreement). As you are aware, we made multiple attempts to convince the landlord to honour the refund, even though he was not obliged to do so, but he unfortunately decided against this. We hope you can appreciate that we, as the agent, are unable to take any further action outside of what we already endeavored upon.

I emailed this useless company 3 times over a period of three weeks to inform them that one of their properties had a wildly overgrown hedge and garden that was making the locality look a mess, and also impeding foot and mobility scooter traffic on the pavement. They didn't bother to reply ,so I reported the mess to the city council and wished them good luck in ignoring their emails ! Hopefully the council will do the work and bill these clowns !

I would strongly advise others to think twice before renting through this estate agent. When we signed our tenancy agreement, the property was advertised and agreed with included parking, which was a key factor in our decision to rent the flat.

GoogleHunters are the best estate agents in the Essex area, helped me find my first property at ease. All the staff are genuine but if I was to recommend a favourite it would have to be Ben. There was no pressure and I felt that he understood my needs professionally and made me feel very comfortable with shopping for a house. 5 stars.

I would never ever used this Company again. They failed to tell my tennent I was selling up, because of mortgage increases, I even even emailed them. Heard nothing so I assumed they had told the tennent. Two months later when I thought I'd have my property back, they told me they hadn't told the tennent. Also the tennent flooded my bathroom and cost me £2000 to fix!

GoogleI tried to Let a property of 4 Bedroom house in chadwell Heath Romford first they ask for holding deposit then they ask for details then referencing our credit checks are clear and after the wait of 4 days one of the team member called me and said Landlord only need professionals like (Doctors , IT , Banking ) and they did not mentioned in the advertisement i attached the property description below its clearly mentioned that this property is perfect for families this is totally unprofessional behaviour totally disappointed 👎

GoogleVery disappointed, we had to rent an apartment with them and after I gave them a deposit and signed all the documents, they called us on the last day when we had to move into the house, and told us the owner of the apartment no longer rents! I don't want anyone to go through what I went through, left out on the last day and having nowhere to go! I do not recommend this agency,unprofessional! It was a terrible experience☹️😒!

Quite possibly the worst estate agents I have had the displeasure of dealing with. Took them 3 weeks to acknowledge that I was looking to rent, then after 2 viewings they didn't even tell me the landlord had decided to not rent the flats anymore. To add insult to injury they didn't even cross sell to show me other properties they have. I would like to say I am shocked but I am not. I will never use them ever... EVER!

GoogleHunters were superb from start to finish! Honest and polite valuation process. Kept informed of viewings and prospects. Negotiated on our behalf and got an improved offer. After sales process was very good as were the solicitor partners. The whole process took less than 8 weeks . A big shout out for Ben who really went the extra mile and for Helen for calmly managed the admin process . We would have no hesitation in recommending Hunters !!
