I tried to Let a property of 4 Bedroom house in chadwell Heath Romford first they ask for holding deposit then they ask for details then referencing our credit checks are clear and after the wait of 4 days one of the team member called me and said Landlord only need professionals like (Doctors , IT , Banking ) and they did not mentioned in the advertisement i attached the property description below its clearly mentioned that this property is perfect for families this is totally unprofessional behaviour totally disappointed 👎

Avoid with all cost!

Rented an apartment they told me it was deep cleaned before handing over the keys and everything would be fixed etc nothing was cleaned blood on walls mould in all rooms had a faulty/leaky boiler very slack on emails no communication in there office also they was very rude over the phone we never moved into the property due to all the damages and mould etc I was willing to give up my first months rent and for them to send me back the deposit but they refused to send anything back I would highly do not recommend this company/agancey to rent/buy a property from they are useless and slack

I definitely recommend Hunters if your thinking about moving, From day one When I got contacted with them about moving in the future , Dev came round view my house in the Nov 2020 I explained that I wouldn’t be putting my house on the market to the following spring/summer in that time I had no hassle of phones calls from them in that time which I liked. I can’t recommend the team at Hunters highly enough but a special mention to Dev and especially Helen who went above and beyond to sell my elderly mothers house. When it looked like my mum might have to complete on the sale of her home before the purchase of the new flat Helen kept on chasing from her end even though her side of the process was finished. Communication was great, with weekly email updates given in addition to calls and emails where necessary. The process of selling a property (& buying) is very stressful but Hunters do their best to ease the stress for their clients. Thank you Hunters

Chose Hunters to sell my flat and the service was fantastic. Dev filled me with confidence they could sell for the price I needed (we actually sold over asking price) and rates were competitive. Dev and the team worked quickly to get the property online and we got multiple offers during the first set of viewings. We recently completed the sale of our property and Hunters were exceptional. We had two buyers drop out but Hunters did everything they could to secure another buyer which they did straight away. They are professional, friendly and will do everything they can to sell your property for the best price possible. I can't recommend them highly enough! Absolutely amazing. Dev was fantastic from the start and Helen was just brilliant and kept us going with her positivity and commitment to doing the best for us. We rented a property in Chadwell Heath from this agency for over three years, and we strongly advise against renting from them. The heating system was inadequate, causing significant mould and damp issues throughout the house. As a result, our housemate’s baby girl developed breathing problems, including pre-asthma symptoms, likely due to these conditions. Additionally, the tenancy agreement is heavily one-sided, placing nearly all responsibility for property issues on the tenant.

lettings fees are very high

For lettings their fees are very expensive. First 3 months of my 450 rent studio flat they took and I did not get anything. When tenant leaves another month will be gone as inventory check is 180 and cleaning in 250 and this is for a studio flat. If i want to cancel the contract i have to pay 900. Stay away.

I don't usually leave reviews, but on this occasion, I had to make an exception. I sold and bought a house through Hunters and from the beginning to the end they have been exceptional. My initial dealings were with Dev Chamdal, who was extremely helpful with his explanations throughout the whole process, always at the end of a telephone call or email to answer any questions/queries. Whenever we encountered any issues, Dev was there, even on his days off, to try and find an alternative solution. He came across very friendly and approachable, yet professional and gave us valuable advice, backed up with evidence, so we could make an informed decision based on factual evidence as opposed to anecdotal evidence. Ben Steven was always attentive during the viewings, both at our property and when visiting other properties. Towards the latter stages of the process, I dealt with Helen Sach, who was highly responsive in answering queries and following up with the different parties, and always kept me posted on updates. As a bare minimum, I would get weekly updates from Helen on the progress behind the scenes with solicitors etc. Helen was extremely communicative, helpful, and accommodating towards our needs, especially in the lead up to exchanging contracts and completion. The group of staff at this branch work hard to earn their fee and go a long way to ease some stress off the vendor. I would highly recommend Hunters above and beyond some of the other local estate agents who tend to entice sellers with an overly higher valuation than they can deliver on.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
