GoogleWe've been renting our flat in Banbury for 12 years with Finders Keepers and are very pleased with the service they offer and can recommend them to other landlords. They are always helpful and attentive and manage both the landlord and the tenants fairly. Josh has dealt with any problems we have had quickly, efficiently and pleasantly.

GoogleAwful paid 300 pounds for referencing, completed in good time 2 weeks earlier for the reference company to come back with issues some 2 days before I was due to move. Then demanded 12 months rent in cash up front!!! Total waste of my time and all at my expense. Everything booked for moving πππ and all they offered me back is Β£125 pounds, totally out of pocket. Rip off artists avoid .πππ

Iβve taken this opportunity to respond as we feel itβs important to be clear about the circumstances relating to this unsuccessful application. We offer our landlords the very best service possible. Part of this service is the completion of satisfactory references. Unfortunately despite the very best efforts of our comprehensive referencing agency were unable to qualify the information you had provided. As I am sure you recall we did our very best to make this work for you. All parties understood and accepted the very quick nature of processing this application as we looked to move you in very quickly, and I can certainly understand your frustration, but we simply cannot process a tenancy without satisfactory references and are our clients certainly wouldnβt expect us too either. Regarding our fees we comply with all required legislation in making our charges transparent and visible in all of our associated paperwork and on our website. Like all UK agencies it is also made clear that this fee is non refundable. Having carried out significant work in a relatively short space of time, which includes the cost of submitting references, we are not obliged to refund anything to tenants. We had hoped that our offer of Β£125 would demonstrate our flexibility and willingness to help. Once again we are sorry that we unable to proceed with this tenancy and wish you all the best for the future.

GoogleHave just gone through the process of renting a flat with Finder Keepers and due to move in soon. The process itself was very simple, efficient and quite stress-free. It didnβt take long from the moment I contacted Finder Keepers to view the flat and then start going through paperwork. Any questions I had were answered quite fast. For right now this has one the best letting agencies I have encountered.

They have always been a great assistant to us as Landlords; providing a professional service at all times, advising on the market & rental pricing, reacting expediently to tenant issues and quickly finding new tenants at the end of contracts. As there core business, Finders Keepers are the best in our area.

GoogleThe worst estate agency we have ever used. They are only interested in getting the rent. If things need doing it takes phone calls upon phone calls to get any thing done. Check out they use old old photos not one that they had taken at check in. They come round to do checks which are good. But they photo every room including private photos and things.

Hello Hazel, Thank you for your recent comments. I am sorry that you felt it necessary to write this review and we are keen to understand a little bit more about your previous issues. Your tenancy ended in March 2017 so we are a little confused as to the timing of your post. I am wondering if you might have posted on the wrong agency page? Touching on the points you raised as general advice I am sure you understand that collection of rent on behlaf of our clients is of paramount importance to us. I would suggest this would be the case for all UK letting agencies. Since your tenancy started in 2015 we have written record of all reported maintenance jobs for the property but no record of any complaint from your during your tenancy about length of time to have particular issues resolved. I look forward to you perhaps elaborating a little more on this point for us. We are struggling to understand your point regarding check out and photos? Your property manager Amy cheked this property in, in 2015 and subsequently attended the property at your tenancy end date in 2017 for your check out, taking new photos. This is standard procedure. Old photos will not be used for the purposes of property condition at check out. We take photos that are a true reflection of how the property was left. Regarding your final point thank you in acknowledging our property inspections/checks. They are a hugely important part of our managed service. We are of course sensitive to the privacy of our tenants, however we do make it very clear that our inspections include photos for our clients to show them how the property is being kept. In the event that tenants do not wish that their items are included in our property inspections photographs we would kindly ask that you make this clear to us prior to any appointment. I trust this answers your points, however please feel free to get in touch if we can be of any more help. With regards Team FK Banbury

GoogleIf you are renting a property in the area, do not use Finders Keepers. They are happy enough to rent you a house, but when it comes to dealing with maintenance issues, they will never get back to you, the work will never get done. I'm in my second property with them now and the experience as just been utterly appalling with property management. Never again.
