GoogleWorst experience ever with any Letting Agency in UK. I was their tenant at 35 Alma Road in Banbury OX16 4RT. During handing over the property the inventory checks were not done correctly as a result of which we got the property with broken shower, broken tap, broken room heater, cockroaches and bed bugs. Property manager Rebecca Woods without helping us, always blamed us for bringing in cockroaches and bed bugs in the property. At the time of leaving the property they have ripped off my Deposit amount making me responsible for Fumigation of the property. I was left with no other option other than raising a dispute with TDS (Tenancy Deposit Scheme) to look into this issue and help me recover my Deposit. Please don’t indulge into any deals/business with them because they will surely rip off your hard earn money as they did with me. ******** Reply to Owner - Finders Keepers ******* The areas that are covered in the check-in and check-out reports are completely different and this clearly proves your intention of ripping off tenant's money at the end of the tenancy. The areas like behind fridge, under the bed etc were not covered in the check-in report. Hence it clearly proves that the cockroaches and bed bugs were already there before we moved in. It was your intention to hide it from the tenant so that their money can be ripped off. I used to live in the property with my 4 year old kid and I'm really concerned now with his health and and hygiene issues as the inventory checks were not done following proper standards before we moved. I have full faith on TDS dispute resolution team who works with evidences. Hence I recommend everyone to stay away from a Letting Agency like Finders Keepers.
Thank you for your recent feedback. I am sorry that you have felt it necessary to write this. I feel it is important, albeit in brief response, to provide a degree of clarity on your position, in addition to ours, regarding this matter. A full and comprehensive inventory was carried out prior to your move in. The subsequent minor maintenance issue regarding the shower was dealt with once you had reported this to us. It was not evident during the inventory being taken. The issues relating to your check out of the property are very straight forward. There were clear and visible signs of infestation throughout the property. As a result this caused significant damage to fixtures and furnishings that were unfortunately beyond repair. You have decided to dispute this claim. You have a copy of the Prescribed information and tenancy agreement, detailing the legal process for handling deposit disputes. In keeping with this process the undisputed amount of money has been returned to you and the disputed amount is held, pending a decision from the dispute service. Beware of Finders Keepers' Their disregard for the truth continues. After my unfavourable review of them yesterday I read their reply which was that I was satisfied with the discussion Gareth Gould & I had re my complaint. Quite untrue. Their spokesperson said they would be happy to discuss it further but tho' I tried to speak to her or Gareth Gould or the MD, Paul Rushworth, yesterday afternoon no-one has bothered to contact me. I am putting in a TPO complaint to The Property Ombudsman.

GoogleFantastic service The only reason I will be giving finders keepers a 5 start rating is because I went to view a house in Banbury when I was living in London which was a 2:30 journey only to be told when I arrived that the property had been given to someone else, this was with standbra Powell who was extremely rude and didn’t even apologise Frantically trying to find another property that me and boyfriend wanted to view we came across this lovely 2 bedroom house in Banbury! And with everywhere closing soon I quickly rang to see what they could do, I explained our situation and they was helpful! Knowledgable and kind, coming out at 5 o’clock to show me the house! Which we of corse went for due to this! Abi Clinkard who was the lady who showed me round was lovely and bubbly! Was nice to find a decent sales agent! Thank you finders keepers!!

GoogleI have used the services of this agency for the past 2 years and although I am a very busy professional I believe is important to take 2 minutes to say thanks to finders keepers,mostly to rebecca woods. A very lovely lady,good nature and heart kind .a true asset to this company. She organize all the matters regards to my tenancy,always clear and professional,no hidden fees or funny charges. All my renews and all my issues have been sorted my herself and without a question or thought when I will need again a house this is the company I will look for and I am sure that rebecca will look after me . After seeing several houses in the area under different estate agents, working with Finders Keepers has been a breath of fresh air. We have been working with Abi Clinkard throughout and she has been brilliant; polite, responsive and quick to answer any questions and/or chase things up - what more do you need! She has kept us up to date with everything from the start of viewings to picking up the keys so I cannot recommend her or Finders Keepers in Banbury enough.

GoogleI've just finished my tenancy with Finders Keepers. Having rented with 4 previous letting agencies I can certainly say FK were above them all. They were so easy to get hold of, all the staff were very competent and approachable. Our property was landlord-managed but our landlord was always just a text away and responded to any issues quickly and efficiently, whilst respecting our privacy in the property at all times. The application and reservation system was quick and easy, fees were reasonable (including pet fees) and our deposit return was dealt with promptly and fairly.

Finders Keepers are way ahead of other agents in terms of knowledge, efficiency and helpfulness. I've worked with them for 20 years. They helped my son as a student tenant and more recently me as a landlord representative in my work and landlord in my own right. Helen Dunn, in particular, is highly capable and I rely on her to deal with the legal paperwork and trust her to make sure I'm fully current with regulations and documents.
