GoogleAmazing experience starting a tenancy through FK. Padraig has been extremely helpful and fast responding throughout the entire process. The referencing website and team they used were also very fast and efficient and helpful, which I haven't experienced at other agencies in the past. Would highly recommend!

GooglePoor experience with Finders Keepers Banbury. KEEP away if possible… Very disappointed. It was challenging all the way from the beginning to the end of the tenancy. I was just waiting to come out of that place by the end and not to deal with them anymore. Very poor service and delayed responses. They were only concerned in getting the money from our side in terms of rent, deposit, maintenance etc on time but do not expect much from their end.

GoogleLandlords. Please beware of being manipulated into accepting tenants who have a large dog. When the agent came to value we made it clear we didn't want pets. They asked if we would accept a small dog but with fifty pounds a month written into the lease to cover the damages and clean up associated with pets. We didnt want a dog but they were very insistent the fifty pounds a month would be a safeguard. Again, we stressed we didn't want a dog. Nonetheless the clause was put into the details of the listing. They found a tenant extremely quickly. When they told us about the tenant they didn't mention a dog. Then a few weeks later they rang to say there is a dog. We were very disappointed, especially after wasting time. The agent persuaded us into not letting the tenant down, using the fifty pound a month as a bargaining point persuading us it would be ok. We then received an email confirming new terms. We felt misled and cheated. The day the lease came to be signed, no fifty pound a month was put into the lease and when we rang up, the manager rang and apologised. He said it was error on the part of the agents but the man was waiting to move in. When the time came for the property to be checked there was damage from the dog, the lawn was poisoned and what you would expect from a home with dogs and children. We made arrangements to check the property but were told they didn't want a war with the tenant. Strong words as we had never met the tenant. The appointment was made, the tenant said the agent had always known about the dog. It wasn't a small dog, it was a large dog and of advanced years. We complained to the agent but now they denied all of it and pointed out an email they had sent confirming the terms. Thank god for smart phones.

Sadly seems understaffed and overworked. Property managers are tasked with full-time jobs outside of the office, so emails are left unanswered for weeks, if responded to at all. When visited in person or called, the agent seems apologetic that staff are overworked, and apologized for the poor service. Issues with house such as leaks and electricity faults have taken 9-12 months to resolve. Hopefully management can work to relieve overburdened junior staff which is leading to mistakes in admin and long delays in resolving housing issues for both the tenant and landlord.

GoogleUpdate after being with FK for 1.5 years: My first review below remains the same, no change at all. They continue to be most supportive. Finders Keepers made my move to UK smooth with their generous support right from the beginning. They were the only agents in Banbury to even try and understand my needs when I first contacted them. A few other agents were either rude or didn't have the kind of properties that I was looking for. The very kind agents of Finders Keepers answered my queries and doubts which were many since I was coming here for the first time and wasn't aware of how things worked. Even after coming here, they have continued to support and help. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a letting service that is designed to help you.

Collette at Finders Keepers in Witney found us a great house in Longhanborough.
