After using a large countrywide service, where messages were not passed on and the service department was a few hundred miles away, it is very good to get excellent personal service. My tenant is also very pleased as any problems are dealt with immediately at not too great an expense. The best local maintenance people have been used as the estate agent has good local knowledge.

These girls really know lettings inside out! This included advice on how to handle difficult negotiations with my former tenants and former letting agent, getting me more money from the deposit. In less then 24 hours of advertising the property, they had received masses of requests, within the following week they did 12 viewing and were really to keen to help me choose the "right person" rather than the first person interested. They were proactive, keep me informed at every stage and gave regular feedback. From the point the marketing went live the ideal tenant was in within 2 weeks. I previously tried to sell my large country home through a high street estate agent in 2014 and whilst this unfortunately wasn't successful, the fees would have been around £16,000. In almost a year, there were a few sporadic viewings yet no sale. We then had a change in circumstances and took the house off the market.
I have recently appointed Distinct Estate Agents to market the property for £599 including VAT and I will be carrying out the viewings myself as I feel confident that I have the inside knowledge on the property as we have lived here for 5 years and built it for our own family use.
