We offered a price for a 3 bed flat…

We offered a price for a 3 bed flat they accepted and told us we had it subject to our lawyer getting in touch with them they didn’t even give us 16 hours over night and they came back and said they had received a better offer we feel this company used us to push someone else to go higher and feel that is bad practice by them, offer accepted at 4.30 one day and they didn’t even give us a chance to get the lawyer to call them as next day they cancelled ours and went with someone else Not a good estate agents in my view when you accept an offer then you must allow a short time to get your lawyer to do there job it was a cash deal no chain money in the bank we sent them our bank details proof of ID and our lawyers details then they dropped us feel it was a fix to get some poor guy to pay more money

Donal Ross are an outstanding estate agents. From the first moment we contacted them right through the selling process they were fast, enthusiastic and extremely professional.They sold our property the day after the board was erected and when our buyers found they had lost their mortgage due to being on furlough, Donald Ross re-erected their board and sold our home again the next day for a higher price than the first buyers!My sister & I, cannot rate them high enough!!

What a fabulous team and such excellent teamwork and professionalism. From the first contact with Fraser and a decision on a Friday morning to go with Donald Ross, the team swung in to action immediately. The homebuyer report was booked, the photographer was booked, a solicitor was recommended and we were on the market a week later. I left the keys and left the viewings to Callum. . I was informed of every viewing and the feedback from those viewings. In less than three weeks we accepted a very good offer. Maureen talked me through the offer and kept me informed of the process to completion. A few weeks later the contact was signed. Thank you to everyone involved.

Wanted me to reduce my house price to…

Wanted me to reduce my house price to increase footfall which only got people’s hopes up of purchasing my home at a low price than valued. Each time i rejected they then told me its not realistic what I'm looking for even although to get me to sign up they told me i’d get my home report value and would sell within a week. Overpriced for limited service. I ended up agreeing my sale price privately in the end with my buyer as Donald Ross told me my buyer could only afford a certain amount. If you chose to sell with Donald Ross don’t be fooled into a dream story and stick to what you want to sell for.

Put in an application for a tenancy. First call, estate agent was friendly, engaging, was answering all my questions that i had. Put in the formal application to the landlord, was told i’d kept be in the loop with any updates either by phoning or email. Couple days went by, heard nothing. I phoned up and asked if there was any update, nothing. Landlord still making a decision. Phoned up the week later, again. nothing. Landlord still making decision on who to take as their tenants, which is fair enough, if they have lots of applications. Estate Agent assured me that they would keep myself informed of any progress. Couple days went by and I checked rightmove, lo and behold. Property has had rent agreed. Normally, i would say fair enough, landlord has chosen someone who they think will be best suited. What is, annoying though, is the estate agent promising me specifically that they would keep me informed of any updates, even if landlord rejected my application. Will not be using their service again.
