We've rented a property in the town centre via A&Co for nearly six years now, and have always been treated with respect, efficiency and no small amount of kindness. Recently, our longstanding contact Frida moved on and Amber Blower became our new property manager. We were anxious about this after many years of great service from Frida, but we needn't have been; already Amber has organised two repairs within days of our reporting them and has faithfully followed them up to ensure our satisfaction. We have had our property on the market from the beginning of lockdown and it was a long and stressful process. However, Matt and his team didn’t give up and we’re a great support, I’m sure if we were with another estate agent company they would have probably given up or pressurised us into selling the house for pennies. Angela was our sales progressor and she was nothing short of amazing. She was calm, fast, kind and kept me updated every step of the way. The whole team were amazing, honest and absolutely reliable. We sold our house through Alexander & Co and it has been a great experience. From the beginning when we invited them to provide us with a valuation right through the whole process. Matt Wood has has been brilliant. He always ensured he communicated with us with what was happening and always there when we needed advice. He was particularly worth his weight in gold when we needed to exchange before the school admissions cut off. He kept the whole chain together and ensured everyone was updated and ready. Matt clearly has a passion for what he does and it shows. Matt's team have also been great, very professional and always helpful. I can't recommend Alexander & Co enough. Our property manager Ann-Marie is absolutely superb. We had a small issue in our property and Ann-Marie had the contractor here within a couple of hours to get it sorted for us, she followed up with a phone call straight after to make sure the job was done even though she was sent the confirmation from the contractors. A professional, personable, trustworthy agent we'd wholeheartedly recommend. If there was an option for 6 stars, Matt and team at Alexander and Co. earnt the additional one! From the outset, it was clear A&Co were a cut above the rest. We invited four different agents to value and quote to market our property for sale. Matthew was a breath of fresh air and it would not be over-egging the pudding to say he has restored our faith in agents. Everything was done as requested, professionally, and in a very difficult market due to the pandemic. Matt gave us regular updates, answered any queries pretty much instantly, and we really felt he understood our needs as a family. Matt is a friendly face and someone we'd be very pleased to bump into in the village pub and buy a pint for, were it open, but above this, he's a professional who takes his job seriously. Very recently used Alexander & Co as a first time buyer and viewed a couple of properties with Alexander & Co. Each member of staff I spoke with was very friendly and professional, there were no issues with any arrangements or questions. Staff wore face masks and were hygiene conscious by default. After proceeding to offer on a property I was speaking with Hannah who was very prompt, informative and responsive. After this, Angela took over to help see things through to completion. As a first time Buyer who was new to the process I cannot thank or praise Angela enough for her assistance. I had difficulties with my Solicitors throughout the process (and honestly wish I'd used a solicitor recommended by A&C after initial uncertainty was expressed over mine) and can honestly say the process would have taken much longer, been much more confusing and could have potentially fallen through without Angela's support. At very few times where Angela couldn't be reached due to holiday, Hannah was able to update me and pass updates back and forth in the meantime. After a very painful experience with my solicitors we reached completion and I cannot fault my experience with Alexander & Co at all. Angela had put a lot of time and effort into seeing things through from start to completion and remained patient, supportive and understanding throughout, mediating the process despite the delays with my Solicitors.
