I lack the words to express my deep disappointment and dissatisfaction with Alex & Co. Most of the team lacks professional courtesy, barring one or two exceptions. They seem indifferent to the tenants' concerns. Despite multiple calls and written issues, there's no follow-up or updates for weeks. Communication is poor, and they fail to properly relay messages to the landlord. Reaching the manager is nearly impossible, with staff often saying the manager is unavailable. My issues have been unresolved for over a month without any news or effective communication. This is the epitome of unprofessional service.

I wish I could give them zero stars. I would not recommend renting through Alexander & Co. After moving out of 17 Chiltern House over seven weeks ago, and leaving the property in better condition than when it was handed over, my deposit has still not been returned. Communication has been consistently poor, and my attempts to resolve the matter have been ignored. I found Amy Shield unhelpful and unwilling to take responsibility for progressing the issue. This experience has caused unnecessary stress and frustration. Based on my experience, I strongly advise looking elsewhere for a professional and reliable letting agency.

Thank you to Marcus, James & Matt for being so proactive on my sale. Marcus & James were my main pocs and were so easy to work with. They secured me a buyer after my first one fell through and vetted them thoroughly. Their sales progression advisor Jill is amazing. Not only did she help on the sale, she also assisted on my onwards purchase due to incompetent advisors on that side. Absolute asset to the team and although she probably deals with loads of clients weekly, she was always personal on her phone calls and remembered details I previously said - it's just made the whole process so much easier. I'm very glad I used A&Co to sell, their guidance has been invaluable and the whole team has been fantastic from start to finish.

My experience with Alexander & Co has been exceptional. I have been a tenant for over 2 years, and live in a lovely, ideal for my needs and lifestyle home. Helped to find personally by the company. As said by others before, as a team, they are consistent, reliable, and show high levels of both professionalism and dedication. All issues arising, or questions I have had they are always willing to help immediately as a team, and as a personal contact I could not be more grateful. Amber Blower has been exceptionally professional, understanding, and taken steps not required, and of extra work to herself, to aid me in any and all questions/issues and to make my home truly feel so. Her kindness is immediate and practical, and her actions prompt and effective, even going out of her way to pre-empt something I may not be aware of. As someone who has moved many times, and rented in many places, I was immediately and unwaveringly struck by their available and approachable kind and professional demeanor, and true kindness and approach most helpful to the tenant. It is very rare to find kindness and passion at this time in any area, especially with such professionalism throughout such times. Alexander & Co, Amber Blower, and team are professional trustworthy and reliable and that is truly very rare in my experience, and genuinely passionate and kind in my experience, and this is worth disseminating widely. Although we didn’t finalise selling and purchasing a house due to the high interest rates, I cannot express how great Matt Wood has been leading up to getting our house on the market. Matt’s communication was absolutely flawless and was always in contact with us, he is extremely proactive as well. Cannot thank Matt enough for what he did, it’s a shame the interest rates prevented us advancing onto selling and buying. When the Rates finally start to come down Matt will be the first person I’ll call in getting the house on the Market. Thanks again, Matt.

Where would we be without Jill Barrett - still waiting for a response from all other parties and sat in our old house! I cannot recommend Jill highly enough. Just when the developers of the people we were buying a property from were going to pull out Jill managed to turn it around and get the exchange and completion done within the original time frame. She took the stress out of the process and worked tirelessly ensuring that we were kept in the loop the whole way. A thank you seems to small but thank you Jill you really did make a difference.

Treated with respect and supported through the stressful process My 21 year old son wanted to purchase his first home - a penthouse! From beginning to end he was treated with respect and was taken seriously. Their dedicated sales progressor - Lyndon was the go-between our solicitors and mortgage people and we got there in the end. This purchase came with a lot of stress due to the fire certificate and Matt spoke me down on many occasion and kept me calm with his reassurance. Recently moved after a very long and stressful house sell, this estate agent branch made my new onward purchase possibly the most calm and helpful purchase I’ve ever made. Matt & his team go above and beyond what is required for estate agents, from the moment I viewed to the day I moved in. Nothing was too much trouble from my continuous questions to extra viewings. Matt & Harvey both kept fully on the ball when it came to chasing Soliditors and again went above and beyond what was required from them to make what was a very stressful under chain easier for myself. Even down to completion day Matt arranged for me to collect keys locally to the home saving me a 40 minute round trip which in turn saved me a few hundred pounds with removal waiting time, this simple action on his part took a massive stress away making the move in day more enjoyable. I was given a really good moving in goodie bag which was well thought out even down to that key for the meter box ( it came in very handy) If I ever move again these are 100% the guys I’d use for selling & purchase.
