I would leave a zero star or negative star review if I could. This agency lied about their verbal conversations and agreements with me, and set charges for the most ridiculous things they could after vacating and improving a rented property. After disputing the return of my deposit, they kept it all due to their lies and cheating the system. AVOID them at all costs.

Derek Turney has managed our property since we started renting out our house early 2019, to date. Throughout this period he has been extremely efficient in managing any issues that have since arisen. Derek is always quick to respond, and works well with all parties to resolve any outstanding problems. He's always polite, a good communicator and very reassuring for us as landlords, knowing that things are being dealt with in safe hands and in a professional manner. They are the most dreadful company to rent from AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. They refuse to get the landlord to do repairs....... their trick is to keep getting trades to come and assess the job and then do nothing. I have lived with rats that came threw holes from outside where the pipework was not concreted in. I actually saw. A little brown head one night I was cleaning my teeth. I requested the work to be done they sent a 6'5" 25 stone bloke around as soon as he heard the word rat he ran into my bedroom and got hysterical (nearly knocking me over) w hailing I don't do rats I don't do rats. I ended up buying foam filler and doing it myself. Work that took 18 months to never Ripped felt in porch ?..... had to keep buckets to catch rain Broken extractor fan on kitchen cooket No extractor fan in bathroom Three doors to big wouldn't close One bedroom rotten with mould ( needed medication for continual chest infection) Floor not nailed down properly (fell twice) Said they would replace garage door to get me to rent ( I'm a psychologist and have to keep records for 6 years) then refused to do it..... I HAD TO LEND LANDLORD £1000 and let him pay me back over a year???? Put up rent £200 a month, said they would do repairs....... nothing for 3-4 months when I moaned I got ...KICKED OUT.....,.section 21 was served. It goes on and on and the Lettings Manager..a man......is a nasty misogynistic excuse for a decent human being. They didn't notify me of an inspection, the person barely knocked and then came in...... I had just got out of the bath.,,,,.. thank goodness it was not a man My stay there was obtrusive hell. This is the sort of place to send someone you dislike too.,,....., then you can sit back and watch them suffer NEXT EVIL UNBELIEVABLE CHAPTER.....Update I moved out end of July...., 3rd of September received a court order ASKING ME TO LEAVE ...... 7 weeks after I had left and asking me to pay court fees of £425. I of course had it put aside ......I can prove where I live. Not only are they spiteful but pretty stupid into the bargain. Watch this space the outcome of the idiots is to follow.

Useless. Non-responsive. Don't action when notified when vacating a rental. Try and keep deposit because their systems do not work. Insinuate it's the tenants fault. I have constantly needed to chase. Do not recommend!

I have been a landlord and tenant of A&Co as far back as when they were Hartwell estate agents. Over the many years and though many transitions I have found them to very helpful and genuinely caring in all they have done for me. Most recently they have supported me through the purchase of 2 buy to let properties. All members of the Aylesbury team were involved with these efforts with the greatest thanks going to Andy, Karen, Imtiyaz and Lara on the lettings and maintenance side. Plus Matt and Harvey on the sales side. On the financial side Sonya has saved me a vast amount of money obtaining the best BTL mortgage deals, even working up to the midnight deadlines to secure these. I cannot recommend and thank this team more.

I was a tenant of a 4-bed property managed by Alexander & Co from 2022-2023. Throughout the tenancy the property management was efficient and professional. Amber Blower had a good approach to finding solutions to maintenance problems that balanced the cost efficiency expectations of the landlord with the time and quality expectations of the tenant. She naturally seems to treat people as individuals and as human beings, even when tensions are raised. The digital services employed were most effective in all our communications, which were open and timely. In the round, my renting experience with Alexander & Co was positive.
