Upon requesting a viewing for a rented property, the service and correspondence from Charlie was most professional and courteous. I informed him of my requirements for me and my daughter. That afternoon, Charlie contacted me with a possible 2-bed availability in two weeks. He managed to get a viewing that Saturday. He explained in great detail that the tenant was moving and the procedure to make an offer, referencing and the deposit scheme. On the Monday, Lara contacted me and within 5 days, I was accepted as the proposed tenant. I was impressed with her service, keeping me informed with all the documentation required for the referencing company procedures. Lara went above and beyond to get me the property. From the initial viewing, We moved in within the 2 weeks. I have rented in the past from other estate agents, but can honestly say that Lara and Charlie went above my expectations. They are both a credit to Alexander and Co and I throughly recommend them to anyone seeking a rental property. I am more than happy with the property and hope to make this our home for many years.

They will never give any deposit back, and will use money from both the tenant and landlord. Since they joined forces with some other company, the sevice has been from bad to worse. Some agents are just horrible, I miss the old team, they were wonderful and lovely especially Aimee.

Will try to keep your deposit for no reason - be careful!

Tried to keep a third of deposit on a rental property returned to them in immaculate condition. Went through a lengthy adjudication process just to get the full amount returned to us. Tenants, be wary of these crooks, they will try to keep your deposit at any length. Amongst the things they tried to claim for were ‘water marks on the sink’, and the fact the weeds were about 30cm taller than when we moved in. Awful, unprofessional and rude service. Delayed the rightful return of our deposit by about 3 months

I recommend Alexander & Co to anyone in my local area. My partner and I are first time renters and David Wegierski was really helpful in answering any questions we had, finding a place within our budget and arranging viewings really promptly. Lara Harding was our property manager and she was extremely supportive with any queries we had. There is always something that’s due to go wrong and when renting it’s important to feel as though you can trust your property manager, Lara got things sorted straight away and was always polite when doing so. Also a special mention to Karen Baker who always sent through any information in a timely manner, was really flexible and always an excellent point of contact if we had any doubts. Should I need to require any agent’s service again, I won’t be going anywhere other than Alexander & Co.

Although we didn’t finalise selling and purchasing a house due to the high interest rates, I cannot express how great Matt Wood has been leading up to getting our house on the market. Matt’s communication was absolutely flawless and was always in contact with us, he is extremely proactive as well. Cannot thank Matt enough for what he did, it’s a shame the interest rates prevented us advancing onto selling and buying.
