GoogleMy experience dealing with Northwood has been fantastic. I was selling my property and buying another. Northwood was dealing with the property that I was buying and certain things were being held up on the other side in regards to the selling of my property, this had nothing to do directly with Northwood but the agent Gavin got things moving when the deal was at a stalemate. Gavin went out of his way to get the deal done. Gavin has been a pleasure to work with, he made the whole thing bearable when I thought it might fall through. I was kept in the loop by him at all stages, he was professional, polite and easy to speak to, keeping me sane though the whole stressful ordeal. Mark carried out the valuation and we knew very quickly that we were going to chose Northwood to sell our house. Mark was very thorough and had an incredible understanding of the property market. A bit of a rocky start when first moving in due to circumstances beyond their control, but Patience dealt with this as well as she could have to get me moved in ASAP. Any issues (of which there were few) with the flat during my tenancy were sorted out expediently by the team. Would definitely get in touch with them again if ever moving back to Ashford and need a place to rent.

GoogleWe used Northwood to successfully sell our house and I would probably say it was the easiest and most pain free experience we have had of any house sale or purchase we have done. Only took about eight weeks from start to finish. Neil was very knowledgeable when he came to value our property and even helped us put up a light fitting whilst he was there!! All staff in the office were polite and friendly at all times so we would not hesitate in recommending Northwood!

It's unfortunate that you chose to post a grievance anonymously on Google rather than reaching out directly to our team if you disagreed with the charges. As you are aware, you were provided with a check-in inventory report at the start of your tenancy, and the check-out report is prepared to benchmark against the check-in report.
You have the opportunity to discuss or dispute the charges if you believe they are unreasonable or if you have been charged for dilapidations that were not caused by you. The Deposit scheme where your deposit is registered also has an adjudication service that can review your case. This is the process to follow if you disagree with the charges.
Your motives for choosing to leave a public review rather than following the established process are unclear. That said, we remain committed to treating both landlords and tenants fairly.
Please reach out to us if you wish to resolve this issue, and we will provide further guidance on how to achieve a resolution.

Thank you for your review, although as you said, it was for your brother's experience. While we are sorry to hear about your brother's concerns, we believe our relationship is with your brother and there are always two sides to the story. We are aware that your brother moved into one of our Tenant Find properties, and reached out to us instead of the owner when he encountered these issues. We swiftly responded to him and our team were dealing with query when we found out that he did not even give the owner or us the opportunity to resolve his issue and he put the review here.
That notwithstanding, our aim is to maintain transparent communication and provide support throughout the process.
Although this is not a managed property, our team has been liaising with him and the property owner to address and resolve these concerns.
